OMG!! God broke the mold when he created you!! You are the epitome of knowledge!! Unsurpassed in your field! I can’t get enough of your videos and wealth of knowledge!! Remarkable!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Brilliant beautiful scholar! THANK YOU for sharing your extensive experience with so many, including the critical, loudmouth and unappreciative viewers. You generously offer a free education to anyone willing to learn. Priceless. Looking forward to meeting you one day. Yes, I do subscribe, view and share all your videos.
I adore your humor Dr. Lori! Give 'em heck! I learn so much from you! I hope you know how much I appreciate you. I rarely leave my house since COVID, so am not out there shopping. BUT, your helping me evaluate my heirlooms from my mother & grandmother. And you always make me smile. Never change, dear.
I love paintings, not only because of the beauty of them and the mystery surrounding the art itself, but also as you point out, the journey and the history of the frame and how it's all boded together as well. It's amazing when you can decipher all of these core details so finely. Fantastic video.
Having been in the business years ago I love the wealth of detailed information she is able to provide with her background. It's unbelievable the stuff that gets missed by everything from thrift shops to auctioneers. Dr. Lori is right, there are bargains to be found everywhere!
One of my favorite Dr. Lori shows. I went to private girls school and took fine arts. Zero recall. This knowledge is so fun. I can not wait until she looks at something I bought.
Dr. Lori thank you so much for sharing your vast knowledge. You help people so much more than with their purchases of curios and antiques! I wish you were my art history teacher.
Share the channel to all your friends and relatives. Many of them have “that object” handed down or picked up somewhere that they have always wanted further info on. I have been sharing and I have heard from so many of them that “didn’t know where to go.” This is the place. Thanks bunches Dr. Lori! 💕
Thank you for all of this information, once again, Dr Lori. I've watched you so many times explain how to tell what kind of painting you have by looking at the back. It makes more sense to me seeing them all together here. Thank you so much for all you do! Love you always!
I have a painting of the Paris paint you had a look at in this video. Is an oil painting, with a seal in the back with the name Glendalen. And it has a double frame. The paper in the back and the tag was taken off in the moving. And the frame paint is wearing off.
I can help value it. Need to see it to verify what you really have. Many factors affect value. You are welcome to send me photos to review. Please use the appraisal request form on my website to send the photos.

HELLO, wonder if you could tell me about Emerson. I have an acrylic painting that is signed. No first or last initial. Looks like it was chosen for or from a collection. Looks like an American painting in a Mexico frame.
I can appraise your painting. Need to see it. Send me photos at www.drloriv.com/find-values/online/online-appraisal-form/ or schedule a video call at www.drloriv.com/find-values/from-your-video-call/. See how on my website.
I wonder if Dr. Lori would be able to determine if a painting was painted by the late Bob Ross..? I have no doubts in her abilities, just curious about another aspect...

Hello dr Lori is it OK to store pearls and other jewelry in cotton muslin draw string bags Would the Muslim be safe for pearls and other jewelry Thank you for your information
My mother was an artist and she sold most of her paintings in Mexico city in the late 1950's and early 1960's to mainly American tourists. She died in 1963 when I was 10 and I have always wondered about her paintings since I only have a few photos of her work. I have looked for her name on Google and have found nothing. I even looked up how she signed her paintings ( djon) and found nothing. Is there any way to find anything out about her work other than Google? She did abstracts, semi abstract still life's, and paintings of the Mexican women. She even did a couple of painting of me as a kid. The Time Life building has a couple of her Siamese cat paintings. Vincent price even bought some of her paintings. She died shortly before she was going to exhibit in New York City in the Friends of Mexico show. Can you help?
well educated , but becomes real nasty sometimes seems to like to put people down sometime . Like to see more of what to look for , when looking at art .
I offer many tips in my series of videos on paintings. Have you watched them all? I also help people by looking at photos of paintings. See details on my website.
I have to chuckle a little, it seems like the more valuable the piece is, the more she gives them a bit of a hard time, as if she's annoyed with a sophomore who should know better, DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE??!! Have you come to my class unprepared???🤣
I like learning from you and I think you do great things by giving us your knowledge. But I was wondering why you belittle so many people? People come to you and ask for your knowledge and you are rude to them. I would 5ink you would have more patience with your followers.
Since I am not rude, nor do I belittle people, I would like to know why you would make such a statement following your phrase "I like learning from you" . What did I say or how did I tease someone in this video that made you think me rude or belittling? There are many people who have noted that I exercise a great deal of patience. I'd like to know your thoughts.
I feel some people may fear that if they try to negotiate price on a painting it may raise an interest by the thrift store as to the actual value of the painting.
You are looking at the wrong option/service. Please use the link I provided before for the suggested option and note the reduced fee on that page. Thanks.
O.....M....G......I LOVE this woman!!!! Absolutely hilarious and brilliant. Does she have a TV show? If not, she should! We've had an impressionist painting in the house since the 1960's of a European city street scene (horses, carriages, petticoats etc.) that we always assumed was worthless, but now I'm thinking it might be worth a few hundred $$. What's funny is that the artist's signature says "Mule" which leads me to think it was painted by a jackass. :D Subscribed!
Her police interogation style of questioning cracks me up. Love Dr Lori.
Lol, she is great but I would be afraid to ask her a question 😅

Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching.
