This is my favorite type of show when the live audience brings items to be appraised. So informative.
You’ve heard the saying, “you learn something new every day,” but with Dr. Lori videos I learn a multitude of things per video! Each and EVERY video! Dr. Lori, if I had to appraise your skill and knowledge, I wouldn’t be able to name a price as I find it invaluable and priceless!!! Thank you 🙏 so much for sharing your wealth of knowledge with the world 🌎!!! Greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you, thank you! You are giving us world class education without student loans! 🥰 I appreciate you Dr. Lori.
This format is much more informative than video calls…..mostly because we can see the items better. And I imagine it is easier to evaluate a piece you can touch and feel.
I can listen to you all day! Excellent teacher. Thank you.
Is true, your mind IS an encyclopedia. That alone is special, but on top of that, you are lovely AND entertaining as well.
Wonderful as usual Dr. Lori, thank you!!
Oh! I learn so very much when you teach about paintings. Please do more of these.
I've done many videos focusing on paintings. Check them out at ruclips.net/p/PLedo2ubiWRdS8J7_tcQFyfSn2CKkMa8Wi
I love these shows where you appraise from the stage.
Love watching you at live events. My favorite. Absolutely fantastic information. You are a wonderful teacher!
In the late seventies and early '80s when I was in high school and college I had absolutely zero appreciation or interest in art. I find your videos and examples completely fascinating today.
This is awesome because when I originally found you it was because I was trying to date a old master and you talked about stretcher dating on your website. More of this please!!! 🙌🏼
I love Durer. Especially his rabbit painting. I first saw it on a postcard in the gift shop if the St Louis Art Museum. My first visit to a museum on a public school bus trip. I had just enough money to buy that postcard. A treasure!
This was one of the best videos I have seen recently on framed artwork. Thank you!
I loved this and find it very informative! Just recently found the same Durer print in a thrift store on wood. He has long been a favorite of mine.
Ya crushed it! This is the style of video that I think a class would do well (specific focused topic) (art, books, jewelry etc)

I remember that story about Million value painting in New York.
$15k? WOW🖒
You are the best!
Ty! Your a genius!
now I know why you always give the value of a frame and then the value of the painting.👍
Superb

I have a J Robie still life with roses. It is on silk. My father was born in 1928 and can remember it hanging on his great great aunt's wall when he was a small child. It had a gold frame that was probably made of plaster. During the years many pieces of the original frame had fallen off. I had it reframed and matted and it is now hanging up in my dining room. I have never been able to find anything on his work that was on silk. I would love to find some info on the silk 'print' that I have. It was in my G.G.G. Aunt's house long before my father was born. Thank you for any help!
I can help. Need to see it. You can send me photos for review at www.drloriv.com/find-values/online/online-appraisal-form/ or schedule a video call at www.drloriv.com/find-values/from-your-video-call/ to show it to me. See how on my website.
@DR Lori, Hello!
In the video you mentioned there is an abbreviation - something people who work in museums will call an 'en plein air' painting... It sounded like you had said, "NC2". Closed captions did not translate and a Googe search was futile. Please advise?
Thanks, DR Lori. Have a good weekend.~
Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching. Check my website for the next date.
Have you heard of an artist named Wacker from the Van Den Bogaerde Ltd Ghent gallery? Belgium
Do you have a work by this artist?
What is the value of the Durer print of the squirrels? I have a picture of a rabbit. "The Hare". Same monogram.
Many factors affect value. I can appraise your piece. Send me Photos. Use the form on my website at www.drloriv.com/find-values/online/online-appraisal-form/
