- Join me, Ph.D. Antiques Appraiser Dr. Lori, in Orlando, FL at the Lovely Boutique Market as I go thrift #shopping for #vintage mid-century modern treasures. #Watch as I uncover Arne Jacobsen style chairs and show you how to find them. They could be worth five figures!
Plus, I find an interesting MCM lamp, see what it is missing. I also identify some really unique wall art and a pair portraits that are paint by numbers pieces. Not only do I value these, I explain their history and importance.

MCM has made a huge come back. Not my style or taste, but appreciate some peices.
It's butt ugly!
We adore you, Dr. Lori! 💖
What a fun, informative video, Dr. Lori. Thank you!
Thanks for explaining the MCM attraction to and growth in Paint By Numbers. I remember them as really popular in the 70s.
My daughter who is 37 yrs. old said those chairs look fun. I asked her if she would buy them she said yes.😊 Thank you National Treasure, Dr. Lori!❤
Thank you Dr. Lori, I always learn something new that I didn't know I didn't know ! 😅
Those chairs looked great with the lamp. I did so many paint by number pieces I wonder whose house they are hanging in !
I absolutely love the art in the background ❤
The 2nd Dr. Lori show today that shocked me with mid century modern chair $$$ (KDKA). Wow 😲
I love that lamp! 🥰
My small MCM collection, is mostly wall art. That lamp would look nice with my art. And so would the chairs! But l have an unmatched pair of peacock chairs that l enjoy too! Your videos really do teach me about designers that l had no knowledge of! Which to me is so much fun to hear about! Thank you so much Dr. Lori for yet another fun video! 🤗✌️❤️🦋🙏
Bravo Dr. Lori I’m learning so much from you and this log was one of my favorites, thanks for sharing and educational insights! 🥂🫵🤩🙏😊😎
Can’t wait to see new videos!
Really enjoy your videos. But your ability to pull obscure tidbits from your memory astounds me. My memory is not so reliable these days so I’m in awe of your powers of recollection. You amaze me. I would love to go through an antique shop with you. I love antiques from the colonial days to the 1980’s. Thanx for what you contribute. I put your name in google occasionally to see if you are coming to my area. I’m in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area.
Happy to hear that you are enjoying the videos. Please just check my website's list of upcoming events. It's always up to date. And, to everyone reading this ... who else would like to be on a shopping trip with me?

4:25 love the lamp & shades. My grandparents had those lamp shades on wood lamps.
Love your videos! Thanks for posting ❤
My bedroom set was my grandmother’s and the headboard, dresser mirror, and hardware definitely show Asian inspiration. Thanks for the info about the wingbacks!
Almost wanna say "windbacks" 😉😄
Unbelievable!! For paint by numbers?
❤️❤️❤️
I am curious about that Orange painting.
MCM not my taste, either. I think it is amazing those pieces still exist.
Dr. Lori I was in hopes you could tell me where I can find information on what was popular in 1917. I don't know where to begin. Thanks for your help if you can. Sheri
Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching. Check my website for the next date.
Why not a Sports Illustrated model? You are beautiful.
Hello
That looks like smoke residue to me. It can be cleaned, but be careful!
Not a fan oF MCM 😊
