000GunterGabriel000 Well that's the point actually. I take my hat off. A car is meant to be driven, even if it's very rare and costs a huge pile of money. That's much better than to lock it behind some door and show it only to selected people ... Yes, it can be damaged, trashed, burned ... but hell, what's the point of having it then if not to drive it if you are a car guy? To him that car is like my R1 to me or my RS ... I mean, he obviously got the money, so if something happens, he can rebuild it I would say. Anyway, thumbs up from me to these people, that drive such rare cars.
+Ivo Radev Agree, nevertheless i would take care with WHOM i am driving on track. And those folks dont look like skilled drivers to me. I would prefer better drivers because -> more fun AND more safety.
000GunterGabriel000 Well sure, but I guess someone that makes the money for such garage does not have a lot of free time, so he takes what he can. Plus, seeing the other drivers' toys (even Koenigsegg), I guess they got the wallet to pay him if something happens :D
Yeah you're right! Screw heal &. Toe, and rev matching, who needs it? Was going to comment on it, but what do i know. All that efficient, safe handling, engine pampering nonsense can only be appreciated by racing pros. NOT!
waltyui Porsche has put in automatic rev matching into the manual transmission and heel and toe is very difficult to master and do it especially under the pressure of racing
Wow, the difference in steering-angle between the 997 and 991 is just imense! But you just gotta love that RS 4.0! Just such a special enthusiactic-car... :-)
well why didn't the porche driver over take him? if his lines were so wrong that means the Porsche driver didn't have the skills to capitalise on the Ferrari's mistakes.
haha I talked to the owner at an event here in Denmark, where he bragged about him driving on Spa - then I found this video xD he is a danger to the other drivers imo...

Hi, warum gibst du nicht bissi Zwischengas beim runterschalten?! Hört sich für mich ziemlich kupplungsmordend an oder nicht? Von den Lastwechseln Mal abgesehen
Brilliant driving, a beautiful car too. The Speciale driver would have annoyed me so much, he never got out of the way in the corners and braking where you could have easily taken him and on the straights he just flew off. Great video though! :)
***** Nice driving man, better than me. Is it possible to outrun stock McLaren F1 road car (not gtr) on this track with yours GT3 RS 4.0. I have 996 Turbo, but I can't even catch up the stock F40.
what is that car at 2:25? thought first f40, then mix between testarossa and f40, and ist open and looks like something like x-bow. Was it a Special ferrari?
Francis McCyran thx i know that. I just joked about the capacity of the Ferrari to be fast on straight but not in corners. Porsche is so much more fun to drive and sooooooooo fast in corners.
You say that as if u knew. Ferraris are mid engine supercars, you can toy with them while having a smile on yur face, the porsches are just beetles with a lot of hp, rear engine, not even close as fun to drive or capable as a Ferrari in any corner. This particular case, the GT3Rs, is an extreme track version of a car, of course it will handle the corners a bit better than standard cars but will still lose hard to the 458 speciale, in corners and in straights with a decent driver of course.
not bad driving! If you accept it, i can give you couple of advices: 1) the position of your hands, specially on the tight corners (last chicane). never move the hands from the 9:15am/pm position on the sterring wheel. 2) once you are in the middle of the bend, stop hitting the throttle repeatedly... full throttle or brake . Anyway, good job! :)
+lorenzo pegoraro good advice, also on the corners or bends when your off the brakes as he said don't hit the throttle like that you only get back on the throttle when you are 100% sure your not gonna have to get off of it again
Awesome driving...he was ferrari hunting..the Gt3 handles very well in and out of the turns...ferrari slight edge on straight top end...but 100% driver.....he tore it up...best track car....
I wish you would let us see you do one complete lap or at the very least let us see you take eau rouge but your editing took the best part of the circuit out.
Typical Ferrari driver...knows how to push the right pedal down....doesn't know how to drive...turn his traction control off and he'd be in the wall in no time...
ok, if you really can drive then 360 HP in Porsche is sufficient power to play down any Ferrari with a hobby driver in his Sunday suit. You just need stop talking while driving, find the ideal line and be later on the brakes! And of course close to the inside curb and accelerating quicker!
A little brake dust causing the squeaks?? I love how the Ferrari driver just can't keep all that speed in the straights through the corners! ;) I'd love to have a LaFerrari, but for the money I'd rather have a garage full of Porsches!!!
Laferrari is so overrated ... P1 and 918 both trash it, and they both combined dont cost the same as 1 Laferari. Same with Koenigsegg regera and Pagani Huayra...
+Gašper Prijon show me where did you see the P1 and 918 trashing the Laferrari??? in bangin gears as you talk the ferrari and porcshe run at same cent of second and the P1 is the slower of them. laferrari is the most beutiful the most unique and the one with better noise. don't understand why u say is overrated, oh wait maybe i know because im a Alejandro bithes and what he say is the only true.... loool don't talk without knowledge
You have no clue what you're talking about. I'm gonna go and guess that you're a 12 year old that never drove a car, let alone a Porsche, let alone a GT3RS 4.0, let alone on a track. Enjoy playing Gran Turismo kid.
David Martin only F1 cars can take that corner flat.......even LM prototypes cant take that corner flat, so a gt3 rs 4.0 isnt going to take that flat is it!
Most single seater cars can take it flat in qualifying, as well as LMP1 hybrids. They just struggle to do it in the race when they're following others either creating dirty air or stuck behind slower cars (in the case of lmp1). As for a road car, never mind a GT3 or GTE race car, there's no way in hell they're gonna be flat going up Eau Rouge. And for the shifting, it seemed pretty ok to me, even the less experienced second driver wasn't too bad. He was probably using 3rd for most of the second sector because he didn't actually need to change gear.
The drivers are different correct? If the driver in the second clip could rev-match like the first driver, it would have been perfect! Nice driving though, looked like a fun time :)
Jackie Stewart, 3 times F1world champion used a great quote which this guy could use! "Don't get on the throttle until your sure you won't need to lift again." Other than that good video!

boek dancer very true. But faster around corners whilst in front. No good to be fast around corners but behind. All that means is second-place who cares about second-place
E Man i was just saying. Anyone can plant their foot in a fast car and be "fast", but going fast round a corner requires knowledge and skill - and the man in the RS has those knowledge and skills.
Dont be mad bro. know that The 458 is just a better balanced faster car. 911's have engines in the wrong place in the rear that is. That ferrari driver in front of the porsche was totally unable to draw a plausible driving line, he just wanted to hold his position by taking advantage of his 150+hp available in the straights but he was caught at every corner. A really poor driver.

keyboard racing driver !!!!

The Speciale's lines are all wrong. Clearly, money can't buy talent. Btw great drive TachoTV. Cheers!
well why didn't the porche driver over take him? if his lines were so wrong that means the Porsche driver didn't have the skills to capitalise on the Ferrari's mistakes.
Because they're not racing, and the Ferrari driver is blocking the Porsche, and was even flagged. The GT3 will demolish him in the corners.
haha I talked to the owner at an event here in Denmark, where he bragged about him driving on Spa - then I found this video xD he is a danger to the other drivers imo...
Alexbastiansen var han dansk?
Not having money doesn't grant you talent either kiddo.
Porsche 911 is the best supercar on Earth from 1963.
🤣🤣🤣
Wow that 458 has terrible lines and could only manage to stay ahead from acceleration. He needs to learn some track hospitality.
"Stay ahead from acceleration" This wasnt the damn race. Ferrari driver made one mistake, rest of his drive was fine. It's not professional fest of drivers.
He ignored blue flags for ages and his driving was hilariously bad. The guy in the Porsche had a right to be pissed.
I concur, his lines were terrible, poor driving and track manners.
rich86 overtaking me if he such a bad driver I gree he as bad lines but if you're much better you'll be able to easily overtake him
rich86
that's not how non race days at tracks work

GG to the Ferrari driver for ignoring a blue flag!
Wow, "nice" cornering skills from the Ferrari. Is he protecting his GP title on the inside? Haha
Well..MANUAL GEARBOX...dude u killed that race. i cant stop watching how good you are.
amazing 458 speciale and Laferrari is awesome .
The second driver must practice heel&toe while downshifting. Great vid ! 😊👍
The Porsche is clearly slower than most other cars in the video, especially the LaFerrari that literally smoked it in pure acceleration.
Which is BTW in the nature of things....the Porsche is a car you buy when you can't afford a Ferrari.
ClaudeMagicbox I've been a diehard ferrari fan my entire life but I wouldn't have any of there current line up they've lost there soul and there magic and I would choose the 911 gt3 over a Ferrari now

In the upper left corner you see the name in the vid ;-) Ferrari F40 LM Barchetta
I like how a GT3 RS can follow a LaFerrari 😏
Z1RCONIUMx911 for a few seconds maybe, yeah
And it was a manual one as well lol
The cars at this track event are insane!
Ma dove vi presentate con il Porsche?
Wow everyone in the comment section seems to be a professional race driver. Stop whining and enjoy the video
perfect summary
Where is it and what event was that? Doesn't look like your average track day ;-)
458 SPECIALE... BEST IN EVERYTHING ... FOR ITS DESIGN ... FOR ASPIRATED ENGINE ... FOR ITS RACING LOOK. FOR ITS UNIQUE SOUND.
488 GTB..SHIT..
gt3 faster on nurburgring kiddo
Whatsup with constant throttle blipping mid-corner? Not familiar with the track?
first time there....

@@Francis-rs7zu but most finishing lines are on straights
But, what happened at Eau Rouge? I waited for it but it was edited out!
Here in Belgium we call it Raidillon. Eau Rouge is at the beginning of Raidillon, thus not actually the corner everybody is referring to.
Does the gt3 rs offer the manual transimission?
Love the Porsche it makes me happy you stuck to the manual

I think a little heel toe practice on your downshifts could make things smoother for you.
very nice video, love it. funnny how the laferrari is not pulling away .. nice driving
If the goal is to trash the gearbox with zero rev matches then hes on the right path
Masha and the bear
Rip to his clutch
rev matching is auto on this porsche
Chris Wontner i can assure you it is not
Chris, its not... This guy doesn't rev match and is destroying his transmittion
I wish you would let us see you do one complete lap or at the very least let us see you take eau rouge but your editing took the best part of the circuit out.
The gt3 driver is really angry to not have 100hp more ahahah.
Why a porsche on a ferrari owner's day?
+sebastian vittel GT40 isn't a Ferrari.

A) Learn to shift, up & down. B) What the is point of going to SPA if you don't show Eau Rouge? Gonna guess you didn't go through flat.
C) gonna guess you've never bin to a track D) gonna guess you drive an automatic E) gonna guess you've heard about Eau Rouge on the television
@David Martin pls be quiet and play your computer games (arcade games)

Can someone tell me, which car he overtakes at 0:07?
pretty sure it's a Koenigsegg but i can't tell the exact model
The best thing the porsche has is the manual gear box
For track I’ll say that the PDK is better because it gives you faster times.
@@velociraptorblue8394 Yes, thats true. But how many times in a life time a person takes a car to a track?
