      Well that's the point actually. I take my hat off. A car is meant to be driven, even if it's very rare and costs a huge pile of money. That's much better than to lock it behind some door and show it only to selected people ...
      Yes, it can be damaged, trashed, burned ... but hell, what's the point of having it then if not to drive it if you are a car guy? To him that car is like my R1 to me or my RS ... I mean, he obviously got the money, so if something happens, he can rebuild it I would say. Anyway, thumbs up from me to these people, that drive such rare cars.

    • @000GunterGabriel000
      @000GunterGabriel000 8 лет назад

      +Ivo Radev Agree, nevertheless i would take care with WHOM i am driving on track. And those folks dont look like skilled drivers to me. I would prefer better drivers because -> more fun AND more safety.

      @IvoRadev 8 лет назад

      000GunterGabriel000
      Well sure, but I guess someone that makes the money for such garage does not have a lot of free time, so he takes what he can. Plus, seeing the other drivers' toys (even Koenigsegg), I guess they got the wallet to pay him if something happens :D

    • @ferfire9
      @ferfire9 7 лет назад +4

      You say that as if u knew. Ferraris are mid engine supercars, you can toy with them while having a smile on yur face, the porsches are just beetles with a lot of hp, rear engine, not even close as fun to drive or capable as a Ferrari in any corner. This particular case, the GT3Rs, is an extreme track version of a car, of course it will handle the corners a bit better than standard cars but will still lose hard to the 458 speciale, in corners and in straights with a decent driver of course.

    not bad driving!
    If you accept it, i can give you couple of advices:
    1) the position of your hands, specially on the tight corners (last chicane). never move the hands from the 9:15am/pm position on the sterring wheel.
    2) once you are in the middle of the bend, stop hitting the throttle repeatedly... full throttle or brake .
    Anyway, good job!

    • @edwardlack2578
      @edwardlack2578 8 лет назад +2

      Most single seater cars can take it flat in qualifying, as well as LMP1 hybrids. They just struggle to do it in the race when they're following others either creating dirty air or stuck behind slower cars (in the case of lmp1).
      As for a road car, never mind a GT3 or GTE race car, there's no way in hell they're gonna be flat going up Eau Rouge.
      And for the shifting, it seemed pretty ok to me, even the less experienced second driver wasn't too bad. He was probably using 3rd for most of the second sector because he didn't actually need to change gear.

    Good driving for sure and I know that I couldn't do any better... but it hurt me to listen to a lot of those downshifts :/... how can you drive this piece of art on a fantastic track like Spa without any real heel-toe downshifts?

    • @eman8205
      @eman8205 8 лет назад

      boek dancer very true. But faster around corners whilst in front. No good to be fast around corners but behind. All that means is second-place who cares about second-place

    • @helicocktor
      @helicocktor 7 лет назад

      E Man i was just saying. Anyone can plant their foot in a fast car and be "fast", but going fast round a corner requires knowledge and skill - and the man in the RS has those knowledge and skills.

    Dont be mad bro. know that The 458 is just a better balanced faster car. 911's have engines in the wrong place in the rear that is. The 458 is a proper mid engined supercar. if you are a porsche fan next time bring a Porsche Gt4 if you want to beat that 458 or even better a 918 and destroy everyone in that curcuit except maybe the la ferrari hh

    Where did u learn to drive like that?but u call it racing who teach u to hold the steering wheel like the way u hold u can break your hand or thumb etc ask yourself is it hard to steering like u did when full turn or sharp corner when in high speed.?with thumb in like that.

    The 1st driver was the pro racer? I thought the 2nd driver with gloves and the suit was the pro. That driver I thought was much smoother with steering and throttle inputs.

    The F40 just crush everyone else. The last analogue supercar. It's design to be a beast on the track without compromise. The interior is so basic. They really went all the way. The current price speak for itself.

    That ferrari driver in front of the porsche was totally unable to draw a plausible driving line, he just wanted to hold his position by taking advantage of his 150+hp available in the straights but he was caught at every corner. A really poor driver.
