- Here is the sheriff of the ring ahahah.
quick fight in the traffic of the ring and crazy flame from the gtr, this car has got around 650HP I guess.
The video is a bit long and at the end you have a bonus where iam very angry, because I thought the go pro did not works and finally it has worked :-)

I dont think either car was stock. The GTR driver may not have had the suspension in the track setting, and his lines weren't great, so the car wasn't settled before each corner. Having said that I have owned 2 R35 GTRs and on a familiar track I can keep up with almost any car other than a well-driven GT3 RS. It really is a weapon.

His lines were dictated by the traffic ahead of him on the track. I’m sure he knows how to drive just fine. Lol
@AYE OK SURE Is that opinion based on personal experience? I am an average driver but over several years of driving GTRs on multiple tracks in North America I was not passed once by a Lotus that was lapping at the same time. They handled beautifully on technical tracks but they didnt have the power on the straights or long fast corners. The cars I couldnt keep up with were well-driven Porsche RS models, any well driven McLaren and later model Ferraris. I do remember being passed very rapidly by a works driver in a La Ferrari and watching the downforce as he entered a difficult right hander about 40 km/h faster than me. But the Lotus models of the day? Nah

I'd much rather have the GT3, but that GTR driver wasn't very good on the twisties, horrible lines, even with no traffic, he wasn't using enough road, early braking which totally disrupted his flow and mid corner speeds, you could have climbed up the back of him a few times. Only thing he was good at was the accel, due to the HP advantage and 4wd. Props to you and the GT3.

The problem of GTR is weight, is about 400-500 heavier than GT3 so break before and accelerate after
The weight of the GTR is both good and bad. For a race car driver with experience behind the wheel, I don't think he/she would like that but for the average joe with the money who i think the weight was intended for would need all the grip help they can get
That GTR pulls like crazy in exits
The gtr can't hide its bulk in the faster corners/bends. The GT3rs hugs the racing line with minimum fuss and closes the gap the boosted Gtr gains on the straights. .... if only Porsche boosted its own GT car with similar power to the GTR. It would be a sensation; GT3 balance, weight and handling but with circa 700hp. ... they could call it GT2rs. ....I wonder if it would whip those pesky GTR's.
Uhhh...there is a GT2RS, and even the GT3 RS is faster on most tracks than the NISMO GT-R (which doesn't even have a real lap time at the Nurburgring).

He's got a GT2 watch it absolutely destroy the ring on vittel's channel (991 GT2 RS vs 991 GT 2 RS Nurburgring ultimate battle) he done a 7:12 with two of them in the car
Then with GT2 silly money you can buy 2 GTR. Have one for track and eat Proshes for breakfast everyday.

Pretty sure the guy in the GT3 can cover it without any trouble. If you have to ask how much something costs, you probably can not afford it.
JuergenGDB you also get charged a considerable amount for any damage to barriers and also the amount of time the track has to be closed after your crash. It’s not just vehicle damage you have to wary of

West Coast Supercars and Classics thanks but yeah this track in touristenfahrten condition is very dangerous and every thing can happen.
Unfortunately i crashed the car (gt3 is dead) last october and it was absolutely not my fault, the crash was caused by liquid coolant from an other car :-(
We must really keep in our head when we drive nurburgring that nurburgring always win!

Guy in the GTR is from Spain, I've seen him at a couple of track days at the local racetrack and he has some good hands.🇪🇸🤙 Props to both drivers, going super fast but still very considerate and respectful of other drivers.
My school bus has less rattles and squeaks than this!!

Absolutely love how the white BMW signals to move over, then does the opposite and shuts down the GTR. Must not be familiar with turn signals. And some superb reactions keeping things straight just before karusell.
White BMW is a very common issue in the ring. It's someone who has come to the ring thinking they are fast when they really aren't. They then hold the fast drivers up and cause mass chaos. This happens quite alot especially if you drive a faster car as you tend to catch traffic alot easier. Just remember one thing about the ring, no matter how fast you think you are there will always be someone who is quicker than you. The reason I say Is because sometimes professional drivers will actually come and do laps in road cars.
Great race! The GT3 had the GTR in the corners, but the GTR got away a bit in the straights. That Porsche driver was push, push, pushing the GTR towards the end - in one of the chicanes the GTR driver almost lost it! But too bad for the yellow caution near the end...The smart phone stopwatch on the dash said 8:18. That’s a DAMN good time - especially given the caution flag! I give the checker to Driver Porsche!

Mizuno who made GTR and Ghosn who decided it. Both were kicked out of Nissan. The company is a nest of bureaucrats nowadays. Mizuno does not have a engineering PhD in college. Nissan's elite engineers probably don't like that. But looking at the back of the GTR, I realized again that he was the right engineer. Thankyou.

Too much traffic. The GT3RS was clearly faster but overtaking isn't so easy...
The GTR pulled over to let him by once. There was 4 spots that the GT3 rs driver could have passed the GTR even if he was driving a mack truck. Do to driver error. And the porsche driver has some serious skills on that track and in that car. I have seen his GT4 video and its just as good.
That white BMW at 1:40 was a real danger, not sure if he was being annoying on purpose or just inexperienced but it could've ended badly.

That roll cage would break apart in a rollover, too much squeaking means it's loose. Stock 911 doesn't squeak so it's most likely something that was added.
Well it's an Manthey Racing modification GT3RS with a Roll Cage - it's obviously more of a track day car than a daily driver.
Though, all that squeaking on a Porsche like that would still drive me nuts. It could be any number of things causing the squeaks.

Once I could drive, eyesight loss means no more. I had a ringtoy lotus, more rattles and squeaks than you could shake a stick at. When driving flat out around the green Hell, I did not notice. When married a comfortable tow car carried the "mad man" (my wife's name for the ringtoy) was towed back and forth

somone inform me please, is shifting yourself the pdk better or just leaving it in sport track mode let it do is thing? I drove a 458 italia with an instructor and he said to leave it in sport let it do its thing. Surely it was and it was downshifting very hard always stayed in the best revs for the track. Is this rule the same for all these twin clutch cars? why was the GT3 driver shifting himself?

Dude 2:03 that guy in the beemer is going to cause an accident with that driving. You dont turn your blinker on to give the guy behind you the okay to pass and then cut back in front of him. That GTR almost ran into him a couple times. Dangerous
