Honestly unbelievable how Mr JWW doesnt have a few million subscribers already. His videos are a piece of art, they're directed and edited beautifully. The "This is why we drive" channel trailer video, even though its years old now, I use it to refer to my non-car people friends why I love cars. James you make amazing videos, I love watching each and every single one.
That’s because Mr Walker doesn’t always tell his valued viewers the total truth, particularly in relation to vehicle ownership. The more you are truthful with people in life, the more you will grow organically. Hence the followers are extremely low compared to the majority of fellow so called ‘influencers’. Truth prevails.

3:08 You said the 3.8 was bored out to 4.0L, but that is incorrect. The bore stayed exactly the same, but they used a different crankshaft (from the RSR) to increase the stroke of the engine.

Could this be done to a 3.6? Or would you need a 3.8 as a starting point?
@@MGRracing if you could get the flange gasket modulating sprog pins to adopt a sprightly spratt. Then with a prearranged socket spin then it’s possible. I hope that helps

I think there were only 2 options in terms of color for the 4.0. Black or white with the same accents.
@@markvserik 443 white, 131 black, 39 PTS. Interior was black or black with red, full leather or leather / alcantara mix. Couple of options for wheel colour too. Some of the PTS colours are err...questionable!

One of James’ best videos- I come back to watch it regularly- key point he makes about how it’s harder to enjoy a super car on the roads these days - making a manual transmission essential for true enjoyment.
Personally my skills on the track have yet to reach a level where a pdk would make a difference. Meanwhile, with the majority of my time in my gt3 (and a Subaru STI as my daily) I find the manual maxes the enjoyment
Mr. JWW as a small RUclipsr I am always amazed by how you improve your content quality.

As a massive Porsche fan I was lucky enough to drive a GT3RS 4L at Silverstone track nearly 10 years ago - bucket list day
If I had your money, I'd build a collection with every version of the 997.2. I think it's one of the most beautiful designs of all time. And it's the last 911 where you can see the engine
And the 987.2 Boxster Spyder!
and with hydraulic power steering.

A couple years ago I was riding my bike to school, when one of those things slowly passed me in a 30kmh zone. But even with it going only that slow it blew me away. One of my all time favourite cars!

I used to have this Car as a 1/18 scale model car when i was a child. What a beautiful car.
Content like this is why I love RUclips. It has opened up a huge window to the car world for me and my two sons. We watch so many car related videos every week It´s almost ridiculous. This video is easily one of the best from MrJWW I reckon.

What a machine! I once drove a 997.1 with the 3.6 and I thought that was already spectacular. If you're taking requests - how about some in-car, forward facing footage of a good fang up a mountain pass, or something along those lines? Can't get enough of it - thanks for sharing!

This is a forever car. One of the only cars that I actually like a racing stripe on. Just feels like it has earned it with the performance. Congrats! I hope one day to at least be able to drive one of these.

The Perfect car, manual, analog gauges, roll cage, center lug...if I only had enough money to own one!!! I own 4 cars, All manual, it's the only way I'll drive. I live in the mountains of North Carolina🇺🇸 & 1 hour from the world famous Tail of the Dragon & only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway...so endless curvy roads😄!!! Thanks for the great video. for as much as i adore the 997 (having loved my own 987 boxster S previously), it would be a 991.2 GT3 RS for me. Having driven one on track extensively, it's just a more mature feeling vehicle. Yes it's less desirable, yes its less rare, but its still the technically better car.
