I feel your pain. Sadly this is all-too-common track-day behaviour. Many "faster" car drivers delight in parking on apexes then gun it down the straights to prevent better driven (but less powerful) cars from passing. Even though it's not a race there is no reason to hold-up faster traffic. If a car comes up behind you, they're faster; let them pass safely. End of _my_ rant.
Nice driving! I love the sound of that flat six. It's really sad the 991.2 Carrera's have lost this sound. Yeah, some people don't realize that the car doesn't automatically make you fast on the track. It's all about who's a faster driver, and if you're a slower driver, you'll need to let faster drivers pass no matter what they're driving.
Great driving and fun lap besides that asshat in the white GT3. I have a sapphire blue GT4 and love it. Wish the Ring was closer, but I do live in Texas near the COTA F1 track and have already driven it in the GT4. What a blast these cars are on the track. Kudos to you for driving the GT4 as God and Porsche intended. :)
Yo man. Nice video's. I just came here through some reccomendations. I like it when you race others. Maybe to also put a camera in the back so I can see if the ones you pass still following you
Spriggs Family I've got respect too, don't get me wrong, but some little bit of technology helps too! This isn't old school racing technics, all the newer technology helps (like in downshifts, in this case). No matter what, good track line!!
Worth a rant. Your vid makes me want to throw things. Terrible etiquette from many of the drivers. From a fellow GT4 owner...congrats on your skills. Great job. Hopefully a cleaner lap next time.
I hope the guy in the white one reads this, you embarrassed yourself being over taken by a lesser car and you embarrassed yourself with your terrible blocking, you might have money but you're joke.
Great driving dude. I was laying here in my bed getting frustrated for you over that damn 991 GT3... like f*** man, clearly you're inexperienced on the corners, let me pass, haha.
991 didn't know what the fuck he was doing, which is fine to be out there learning, but when you have faster cars on your ass you move off the racing line safely to allow the other cars to pass. As a general rule of thumb, if you can see a car approaching in your rear view, they're faster than you.
Pity for the GT3... apart from that, the 1M in the last part was fast... You were faster at corner entry, but that thing rocketed out of the corners very well
Wow that Cayman GT4 really has some long gearing! Wouldn't it be sweeter, especially on the public road, if the gears were a little shorter? By the way: Love your driving! Downshifts are so agressive and precise... :)
@@kiroshi6414 still don't have to use auto blip, most good drivers obviously wouldn't. This is a really fun car to slide around with too but needs shorter gears .
I love when people get all pissy about others not letting them pass.. i get its not a race and its poor etiquette, but I always love the challenge. Lets be honest, its why your there
American Cayman S driver here. Incredibly jealous of your skill and access to such a fun road. Out of curiosity, do you have insurance that covers you while on the Ring?
I love the GT3 and GT3 RS as a car…but there are some GT3 owners who think they are so fast only by driving a GT3 and will not let someone else pass… I have had this issue also with the same type of cars and the problem is mostly in the corners, where is't all about the knowledge of the track and not the hp. The dude in the white 991 GT3 is a typical example! I don't get it why you will not let a faster (even less expensive car) just pass…Whatever faster driver is behind me; I will give them a free pass if there is place to move to the right side even it is a VW Golf diesel….
Those bikers appear so clueless for me.. they are literally all over the place and seem to have no intention to place themselves correctly on the track.
First of all : nice style and lap. Then about your comment : on the principle I totally agree. I don't have a very fast GT4, just a mini, but sometimes I overtake very sport cars, and sometimes I let pass crazy sleepers. Tourist days are not a race, just fun for yourself, so it's safer to let people faster overtake quickly. But in your case I didn't see strong block.1. The orange 997, was hold on for a while, then dangerous area to hold right... as soon as it was safe he moved right.2. 991 GT3... this one is a bit more open to debate, it seems the driver was not so open to let you go, but not crazy either... He was hold on for a while, then it was the fast uphill, more horsepower, he probably thought he would have enough to move away, and he did for a while. Then for sure you had to press him a little bit, but he let you go.3. The 1M... very difficult to judge, at some corners you were faster, but overall it was very similar. So probably not so obvious in his Mirror, and anyway you had very little to gain. And at the end you probably are happy to have a video with this title ;)Once again, nice lap ;)
+CaptainBigleux2833 Hi, absolutly agree that it's not a race. Also have no problem with the GT3RS except he could let me pass a little sooner at Wehrseifen but he had to judge it and indeed see if it was safe. At least he noticed and let me pass which is kind. But the GT3 I had a problem with. Believe me when you were in my seat you feel how he kept blocking me. Just very dangerous and frustrating. At the moment coming into Breitscheid he should have just let me pass but instead he wanted to stay in front. Just like you said TF are absolutely no races so there is no reason to keep a faster car behind you who indicates for about 2 minutes to pass. 1M absolutely no problem with as well. He was faster in some parts and you don't see me indicating to pass then, only when I feel I'm quicker. Greets and enjoy the Ring!
Great driving. Can't teach guys like the GT3RS driver road etiquette. If you can't keep up, move out of the way and let everyone have their best lap time.
I agree the 991 GT3 driver is an ass. On track days you should let someone faster than you a couple of time on your tail at corners pass despite that your car may be faster on the straights. A very busy day there and the capabilities of cars/bikes and drivers varied greatly.
White Gt3 need get handeled, that move with the bike was a dangerous game. Please Turn in that Gt3 for some rollor skates. Blocking and Following in a faster car is all he's about.... He must of thought you were following to close. lol
great video and all but what's up with the attitude bro, you gotta respect the other drivers and riders. You gotta control the road rage mentality, you see the traffic and everyone has slowed down as the track rules are very clear but you just wanna go over them since you can't go around them. I would hate to see you picking on the wrong driver one day where your lack of patience would back fire on you, still though it was a nice video. I still think it would be better if they allowed a certain total number of cars and bikes on the track at the same time, it would be hard but much safer.
+Hamlet telmaH Hi, I don't agree with you at all. I could be wrong but I guess you have never driven the Nordschleife before? Believe me this is absolutely no road rage. There are certain rules and etiquettes on the Ring and this is for safety. One of them is "do not block faster cars, go to the right and let them pass" The 997 GT3 RS is ok, took him a while but he let me pass as soon as he saw it was safe. I indicate left and am very careful to pass others as you can see with the other cars and my other video's, never take any risk with passing others BUT the GT3 was a total EGO jerk, he thought he was the quickest around and blocked me all the way. I kept indicating nicely, made clear I was faster because I was right behind him, tried passing normally on the left and blocked me multiple times. He could have just gone to the right, let me pass in a safe way and carried on with his lap, no issue. But he decided to be very unsafe (check the part at Kesselchen where he saw there was a slow bike on the left which is also crazy dangerous and indicated left to "let me pass" so that I would run into the biker". It's a track for everybody slow and fast, but never ever block somebody, I am NOT the only fast car on track and it happens so much that because of blocking like this you get crashes from behind. Please analyze, compare and think before you post. Greets.
+1sckride I cannot agree. In real race, this would be called a simple blocking or rude behaviour. GT3 is faster on the straights for sure here. But you can clearly see that GT4 carried way more speed and potential in the corners and on brakes. In real race you can defend your position once or twice. But he was all around the place and actually the GT3 driver is the one who is not giving respect to others
+1sckride Go watch other videos where faster cars on the straights let smaller, less powerful cars pass because they always wind up on their rear on the corners. There's a whole bunch of 'em.
/ /. my point is he should slow down on the corners since he's not the only car there, the reason he passed the orange Porsche was because the orange and the white were slowing down since there were other cars and a motorcycle right in front and to the side of them. I'm sure he pissed off the driver of the GT3 enough for him to slow down and try to not let him pass. If there were no cars around i doubt that he would of kept up with either the white or the orange Porsche unless they were being driven by couple of bad drivers. On couple of occasions while taking the corner he almost rams couple of bikes and cars. I get that the slow cars have to move to the right but the faster car must not overtake a car while going around corners, if he's really that much in a hurry and it's that important for him to pass them around corners then why doesn't he wait for the straights to pass them safely
Great driving. Your frustration is understandable but at touristenfahrten get calm. And hands off your smartphone when you drive. It doesn't matter that the round was finished because it is dangerous and not allowed. ;)

Its always the guys in the cars with a faster top speed that won't let anyone pass no matter their skill.
Great driving mate!! But sucks that the gt3's weren't letting you by!!!!!

Yo man. Nice video's. I just came here through some reccomendations. I like it when you race others. Maybe to also put a camera in the back so I can see if the ones you pass still following you
great driving! would've been a much more fun lap against that beast 1M if the douche on the GT3 didn't make you loose time
Much respect for driving a manual!
Spriggs Family I've got respect too, don't get me wrong, but some little bit of technology helps too! This isn't old school racing technics, all the newer technology helps (like in downshifts, in this case). No matter what, good track line!!
Killer fast even with all the shenanigans.. I raise my pint in your direction. Well done sir. Thank you
Worth a rant. Your vid makes me want to throw things. Terrible etiquette from many of the drivers. From a fellow GT4 owner...congrats on your skills. Great job. Hopefully a cleaner lap next time.
That 1M punches way out of its class.
So sweet when the ECU revs the engine up when you shift down!
I agree about the ego: if someone is faster, let them through.
Drive safely.
That f**king GT3 RS and GT3 owner
Block the way, and not knowing the basic rules of race track... LOL
TF days are not meant to race. even overtaking on the right-hand is forbidden.
i really enjoyed the ride,it was so amazing, and the 1M was keeping with you. i hope to see a hall lap between you both.
I hope the guy in the white one reads this, you embarrassed yourself being over taken by a lesser car and you embarrassed yourself with your terrible blocking, you might have money but you're joke.
do you have so much skill to race like him on nürnburgring? And do you have the perfect car for it? ;-)
White Gt3 driver 'Ive the best car, you're not coming past'......unfortunately happens too often, especially on trackdays.
+Mansfield Indeed :(
looks like a fine day at the ring, bit of argy bargy, 1M impressive on the slingshot, GT4 one of Porks finest. want one. good vid.
Love the frustration !!
Great driving dude. I was laying here in my bed getting frustrated for you over that damn 991 GT3... like f*** man, clearly you're inexperienced on the corners, let me pass, haha.
1st point: WHAT IS THE LAP TIME
2nd point: MORE GT4 LAP VIDEOS PLEASE!!!!
3rd point: SUBSCRIBED!!! :D
gotta be one of the most exciting drive videos, thank you, sir.
I wonder if there is someone at the ring that you can forward that video to. I suspect they probably have safety representatives.
991 didn't know what the fuck he was doing, which is fine to be out there learning, but when you have faster cars on your ass you move off the racing line safely to allow the other cars to pass. As a general rule of thumb, if you can see a car approaching in your rear view, they're faster than you.

Really enjoyed it. Hoping for more content! Keep it up and be safe out there!

Good to see a Cayman bullying the track. Nice work! 911 guys not use to pulling to the side for another Porsche 🤣🤣🤣
Wow that Cayman GT4 really has some long gearing! Wouldn't it be sweeter, especially on the public road, if the gears were a little shorter?

pretty good driver as well
That GT3 episode is what it's like commuting in Houston every single day...
Greate driver!!!! Respect....the GT4 has so much potential...
Great driving!
And lol @ the 991 GT3 driver: Don't fight a fight you already lost. Only reason for not beeing passed is horsepower. Congratulations!
I love when people get all pissy about others not letting them pass.. i get its not a race and its poor etiquette, but I always love the challenge. Lets be honest, its why your there
Nice driving! Out the way GT3! Thank for sharing!
love this. beautiful racing. car seems so much fun to drive.
That BMW at the end was fast. He was pulling away
It was a fast car, not a fast driver.
Great driving. Love your videos and that gt4. Keep them coming. I'll just live my dream through you. 🤖

it was unecessary, the horn at the bike guy in the 2nd minute
I'm pretty sure he was trying to set you up with that biker...thats absolutely sinful to do that . Some people just don't get it. Excellent driving !
100% he was. Shameful and dangerous egomaniac behavior 🤦♂️

+Franzino Exactly, basic Ring etiquette!
+Franzino i will let him pass and memorize the car to go and congratulate him if he can teach me something to be better in someway on the track.
Love your work! Keep it up, you are very talented. You deserve the like and the subscribe!
For some people it seems to be a challenge, for others just fun. Drive a real race and you will see your limits. Take it easy...
So exciting to watch a great driver!
Congrats buddy !!!
Great driving friend !!!

+Killas Racing Thanks!
+Killas Racing But frustrating lap. You can also see a normal lap with less traffic on my channel. Greets.
Oh that`s ok is better Nurburgring with less traffic and summer time.

At least the 997 didn't have the straight line speed to piss you off
Great skills sir ! And that GT3 well it's white so that says it all. Are we in Miami now ?
That left blinker to overtake is on all the time!...why? Its not needed.
Great drive! That white GT3 was a prick!
an urgent rear view camera needed on the low right side display of our screens.
And a speedometer in the top right would be good
Really nice driving skill. How did you mount the camera ? I have also a GT4 so if you have a tips :)
If the driver is pissed, then the car is good.
Enorme!!! Fenómeno!!! Bestial!!.Ojalá la F1 fuese la mitad de emocionante
Not a rant dude - das is da rule of the road/track ESPECIALLY in Germany!! Mooooove over!
911 doesn't want to let its little brother Cayman bye 😂
I have a stock Cayman S and I love it but the GT4......wow!!!
proper usage of a GT4...love it

That 991 was such a tool.... Indeed dangerous driving on the ring.
You shift like a pro 💪
Great Driving. Would be such a fun car. How good are the rev matched down shifts!
