    Nice setup! I've had my Mp-32 as a stationary setup since 2008 and been thoroughly impressed by its rugged construction and reliability.

      Nice to hear that after a full year that you’re still enjoying it! You need to post a 1 year review. Don’t see any channels on here running Cooks....maybe I should start one! Lol

    These mills aren't all wobbling and shaky like the woodmizer sawmill when engaging the blade. Looks like a solid built machine.

      Jeremy Arnold exactly. Not saying that the others aren't good Mills but I like the 4 post better myself.

    Great sawmill, I bought one just like it back in February. I do want to order the head up down motor and the loader but other than that I wouldn't change a thing with mine. I ordered the 35 hp Kohler and a 24' cut length.

      James Abernathy Yea the electrics are great. I have zero complaints on my mill also. Awesome machine. I got the full package on mine.

    I have been long for month or so for sawmill for our farm. Not doing it to sale lumber. Leaning toward lt15 but ran across the map-32. Is your model all motorized? If so it was an option? Thanks

    • @kevintreadway5963
      @kevintreadway5963  3 года назад

      Yes it has electric feed and raise and lower. Also has the winch for turning the logs.

    How do you load logs on mill? I'm getting a mp32 in March was thinking of making a log bunk, but that wouldn't let me walk along side of the mill. Any suggestions?

    • @kevintreadway5963

      I have a log deck built with 4 x8 white oak. My mill shed is on a slight sloping hill and the log deck is level with the mill bed. There spaced back about 5’ or so. When I’m ready to load use the log ramps that came with the mill over to the log deck. Most logs I load since it’s almost level I can roll by hand or use the winch on the mill. Not sure which mill your getting but going with all the options was well worth it for me.

      I’ll try to do a video of the log deck and mill shed soon

      @@kevintreadway5963 sounds good I would love to watch that video, I ordered the mp32 as well, but went stationary thinking the lower the better for me, but I still would like to have a bunk built next to my mill, then use my forks to load the bunks.

      @@darrengarlough5121 is cooks back ordered any or is the mill in stock?
      Reason I ask is because i was thinking about getting a woodmizer lt 15 and they are back ordered so far that it wouldn't be available till atleast March.
      That might be a good thing though do to the looks of this mill.
      Thanks Dave.

      @@davidrhoden4906 yes the cooks is behind as well, they told me 22wks. But I figured I probably wouldn't cut much in the winter anyhow. I will take the time to prepare a spot for the mill. I did a tremendous amount of research on mills and cooks sawmills are superior to others in my opinion. I figure I only want to buy one time, so its worth the wait. Also shipping on any mill is crazy so the wife and I are gonna take a little road trip when its time for pick up.

    Hi I'm getting ready to purchase a mill, been looking at a woodmiser15 wide or timberking 1220 or cook 32. How did you go about deciding on the cooks? And are you still happy with it?

    • @kevintreadway5963
      @kevintreadway5963  3 года назад

      Darren Garlough really like my mill. I have had zero issues with it. 3 years now. It’s really an awesome machine. The guys at Cooks are awesome people to deal with. Robert is always there if you have any concerns. The only thing in my opinion with Timberking is the rubber tire on the band wheels. Cooks all metal and I’ve never had any problems with them. Just take off a blade put on another tension and start cutting. No tracking issues. Woodmizer is see a lot of electrical issues. I think you would be very happy with a Cooks.
