Yea it worked really well. Have since bought a Cooks MP32 mill and also bought their sharpener. It really does a awesome job. Blades are sharper than new when they come off.
Can't remember what the name was on it. It did work fine for a while but it eventually broke and I tossed it. I bought a Cooks CatClaw single tooth setter and it is much better and more accurate. Still using the sharpener though and still works really well.
Is the grinder as wobbly since you made your own mount? I've tried a Harbor Freight grinder on chainsaw chains and it had a lot of flex to it and was inconsistent.

I see so many people build this type sharpener by his own way, the previous sharpener only can be used for shorter band saw?
Great ideas. 👍
Great job, I did the same and works fine.
Dragan Antic
is that a hand tooth setter on the table. what brand and where did you find it. I have been looking for one for years.
This looks like it works just as good as my $1100 norwood, but it does take up a lot of bench space.
O

No I cut that wood block to get the 10 degree angle and drilled the pin to put back in with the exact size bit. Has no wobble at all.
Thank you. Great idea.
