Thank you so much for going through some details of your day to day haha. I've watched many other day of a life of X and noticed that so many others talk about showering and waking up or lunch but not much about the work itself >_< this video was refreshing, detailed, and gave such a great perspective!
I'm starting as a new recruiter for a recruitment agency next week! Thank you for posting this, definitely helping to calm my nerves 😅 I appreciate how you actually explain processes throughout the day, it helps me get a better understanding of what to expect on the job 🙂 subscribed!
As someone who started being a tech recruiter 2 months ago I really appreciate this video, it's great! I'm a lowly sourcer who does the initial screens as well, but I'm currently working with two tech startups in the Bay Area and love the direct line of contact and the impact that I'm having. I've done a lot of different jobs (have a degree in music education, was a high school teacher for 2yrs) and I can honestly say I've never been this challenged by my day-to-day work as much as this job.
I am a recruiter for a special department at a freelance marketplace, so I fill roles in development, marketing, and design. I sort of fell into the role, no degree, just a lot of customer service experience, but I really enjoy it, and I plan to continue this as a career, and working in tech in NYC is the dream, lol, so I was searching for more on tech recruiting, your channel is the perfect intersection and I’m looking forward to more!
Can we talk I have almost of customer service experience too about 7 years of it also recruiting experience from being an assistant manager for 3 years and I am trying to get in the recruiting role.
@@Kirsten.Chanel Well, I started off by taking the Coursera LinkedIn recruiter course. I just found your video. It was so interesting and I'm so glad you actually talk about your job tasks and how your day to day activities look like. It is hard to find videos like that. I've been thinking about getting into recruiting so I would definitely like to watch more of your videos about it.
This is super insightful to see what a day in the life is as a tech recruiter! I actually tried applying to Asana as a sourcer last month haha; it seems like a great company! I was actually pretty nervous about how the work would be like as a recruiter in tech, but watching this made me feel more at ease :) thank you for the helpful video
i love seeing more day in the life tech recruiting videos!! i'm also an inbound sourcing recruiter and would have loved to see your video before i started too for some insight. this video is super valuable and i know it'll help out so many people. thank you so much for sharing your day with us.
I love Asana so much! I’m a sourcer in the tech industry and it’s so helpful to see how other recruiters structure their day. Thank you for making this ✨
Hey! this was sooo interesting- I'm about to start working as a tech sourcing specialist and im so excited about it- i didn't even search for this, it was recommended to me. This video kinda gave me an idea of what i can expect my day-to-day would look it. Love it!
I’m just starting my career as a recruitment consultant in an agency couple months ago, thanks for sharing! It helps a lot:) I’d love to see more video like this
I am glad I finally found a person who is more laid back/ more of quiet personality working as recruiter. I’ve always heard that in order to be a successful in recruitment you need to have a sales background or more of a “in-your-face” kinda personality. Which is not true and does not correlate with success 🙄
Hopefully you see this, but I have an interview for a recruiter job (for a tech company of all things too!) next week and this video definitely calmed my nerves and gave great insight to what I might be doing, god bless! 🙌🏾✨

Would you say this is a flexible job in terms of if you are done with your work you have some down time ? Or do you feel like you have to keep busy to find something to do ?
