Extremely helpful! I am a talent acquisition consultant in local government looking to get into "real" recruiting. I haven't landed a Recruiter role and hadn't even thought about RC.
I am a career shifter and I started as a administrative assistant in a large agency then now move as a recruitment coordinator in a fully remote RPO company. I agree with Ashley that this is the best pathway to being a recruiter. In my agency experience, I worked with 16 recruiters with varying working styles and because of this, I have learned various ways on how to approach recruitment process and things that goes along with it. So far I am enjoying it, I am now on my 2nd year doing RC work and hopefully after 3 years I can land a recruiter role in my current company because I love the culture so far.
Thank you for this video. I’m starting my first RC position on Monday and I’m super nervous. I’m transitioning from a medical scheduling career and this is truly helpful
I have a recruiting coordinator interview today at my current job. I have little to none of experience but watching this video made me feel more confident in myself going into it.
Realizing you’re doing pretty much every role as the RC. I source candidates, interview 10+ a day, schedule, decide if the candidates are the right fit or not, hire/ onboard.
@@TheMillionaireRecruiter Not at all, it’s time to branch off into my own business. Thank you for all the content, I am learning so much more and building the confidence to set up shop!
@@DivinelyResonate Oh VERY exciting! Just remember, running a business is a completely different skill set in being a recruiter and it's hard to switch brains. Good luck! Can't wait to hear how it goes, keep in touch and always let me know if you have other videos you'd like to see
Sorry, I'm from Argentina :). I beleive you are describing a Recruiter role, end to end recruitment. (I'm a SR. iT recruiter. But here, Recruitment coordinators are the ones that lead the team. It's the same for you? ❤
I am a recruiting coordinator now, but I am looking to move up in about a year, however I don’t want to be a recruiter. What would you say is the next level up after a RC?
I am a concept artist sending out LinkedIn connection requests to "recruiter", "talent acquisition" and "HR" titled people in game development companies with samples of my portfolio. Should I also target "Recruiting Coordinators"? Or is that a bad idea?
I personally wouldn't target RCs as they tend to not be the decision-makers. However, you can also connect with them and see if they can put you in touch with the right person
@@TheMillionaireRecruiter True…not a bad idea. I’m learning late how important general networking is, and the tweaking of it, but I ‘am’ learning. Thank you!

Awesome, I'm sure you have learned a lot in your RC role, best of luck for when you decide to transition!

Hi, I have an interview coming up and I was on the payroll side of things. What are some of the questions you were asked if you don't mind?
Thanks for this informative video. I start as a RC next week.
Hi. Congrats on your new role. I hope it is going well!

As an RC you do all that? Wow! I hope you're then making recruiter money
