Nice work AJ! So pleased you were able to do a back to back between the 58 & 77 kWh versions, as that answers the questions I had. Given the need to spend my own cash, and assuming I had enough of it (!), the Born 77 might well be a Tesla M3RWD beater, or at least an equal opponent? I think it's true to say the cost of insurance would be substantially less for the Born than for the Tesla. I'm looking forward to a Born GTX, I already know VW have been working on an ID.3 GTX for a while, so that's likely to be announced before the SEAT. But, VAG do really need to sort out that haptic steering wheel and the slightly laggy screen as part of the upgrade.

I think you guys should keep mentioning that while it's cold outside, the car will have even less range.
    So
1.: As always the company lies about realistic range. It has been like that since forever and i don't understand how this is not beeing regulated.
    2. They exaggerate range even more with e-cars. If you use any of the "tech", your range will drop significantly.
    3. And in the cold it's even less. I worst case scenarios you can expect 50% of the range they claim the car will do. This needs to be adressed frequently, so people are able to make informed decisions

I much prefer this to the ID.3, it's still a shame you can't have the big battery and glass roof due to weight. Touch and screen controls should be banned, citing the Telsa crash in Germany due to trying to alter wiper speed and now with UK and other governments legislating against them I feel like they will become a huge issue much faster than people expect.
The only other thing I dislike - drum brakes, anyone old enough to remember what hot hatches were like with drum brakes under spirited driving remembers that after awhile they no longer brake as the drums distort from heat. Arguably the regen braking should help solve that issue but if you were to track day the car I fully expect to be buying new drums at the end of the day.

Out of interest, what kind of "feedback" are you expecting from the accelerator pedal? To be clear here, an accelerator pedal doesn't give feedback. Ever. There's nothing that could make an accelerator pedal give feedback, in any car. I also disagree that "engine vibrations" are a sign of sportiness, or would detract from the experience if they're missing. A V12 Ferrari doesn't vibrate, not sure about you but for me personally, that's still plenty sporty. I agree that sound is desperately missing, the EQS and Taycan handle that part considerably better. That doesn't mean we need to make up metrics ("accelerator pedal feedback"), or overstate them ("no vibration = not engaging").
