Nice one Bex! These new spark filled cars have certainly moved on a lot over the last few years. EV's still have some way to go but this car is certainly on the way. A great idea to have your mum drive it as that is what I would be having never driven an EV. Those expressions were priceless. Well done Bex!
Great video, Becca! Even though we don’t get Cupra over here in the US, I feel like they have sold themselves out to become an EV-only company, but it seems they did a pretty decent job with this one!
I feel sure the HUD will be adjustable via the settings menu, on my Mazda 3 it even links with the memory seat position button so it adjusts to your preferred height.
Great video as always Becca! I can't believe how anyone could choose an ID3 when these are available - VW really shot themselves in the foot with their corner cutting in my opinion!
I ordered an ID3 back in July 2021 but after months and months of delays and promised build dates that never happened I changed my order to a Cupra Born V3 which arrives on 5th September....haven't even driven one so am proper excited!! I'm actually really pleased now that I had issues getting an ID3 because I'm now convinced that I'm now getting a much better car.
@@davyboy4515 Track day. A lot will take a hot hatch on a track day. Some will also travel over to Germany and the Autobahn. It's selling itself as a performance car and is priced accordingly. If that is indeed the top end then that isn't great
@@davyboy4515 Did you say on the road ? No sh*t 😅. Yes think we all saw that Davy boy. So EV drivers will never take a car to a track day in the future ? Guess they will have to close them all down. Pretty pointless in having this EV hot hatch in that case ? Along with all the other performance EV that are being developed 🤦♂️
Hot hatch...and a very pretty presenter..
Cheers Bex, great review! I'm sure I'll be watching it a few more times over the next 24 weeks waiting for mine 😂
The time will fly by!!

She is a great sport!!
I’ve the 77kw E-boost, absolutely love it, so far I’ve done 600 miles and it’s cost me £12 🙂 free charging at Tesco next to where I live is a result
Amazing perk!!

I totally agree!

This truly is a game changer for the future of hot hatches love all the sporty elements.
Me too!!
I really like this car. Great review, great bit of humour and filled with facts. As always from you a brilliant review. 😍
Mum was great!! 😉
Glad you enjoyed it! hahah! Mum is the true star of the show
Great vid Bex, love these and cannot wait to drive one, one day 🙌
Thank you! You should!
Excellente vidéo mais j'ai dû la regarder 3 fois la vidéo pour ne regarder que la voiture 😂. Merci 👍
Probably one of the most beautiful EV compact with Ionic 5 😍😍😍
You'll love this week's video too!

thank you so much!!!

@@robhallam8047 you’re going to love it!!!
I’m sure there is a car in this video but I’ve not seen it yet 😍
Do you know the difference between the eboost or the v2 and 3?
Seats and 20" wheels
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Strictly speaking, it’s 6.6 seconds to *62* miles an hour. It even says so from Cupra’s website.
But otherwise niece Becca, good review.
It's closer to 5.8 irl. The new VZ is stated as 5.8 and is closer to 5.2
If someone held a gun to my head and forced me to buy an EV, I think this would be it.
It would be my go to choice!
300 miles isn't enough :/ too slow to charge too. Too slow. I was really hopeful :(
Eww why 99 mph top speed 😂😂😂
The only downside in my opinion, but for the public roads it's more than enough!
Why do you need more on the road ?

@@robsmall6466 I said on the road, I’ve also never seen an ev on any track day the last 6 years or so also

They're do desperate to propagandise everyone to love 'sporty' EVs over incredible sounding petrol equivalents.
'BuT Ev's aRe ThE FuTuRe'
Hard pass.
It's a bit of hope for the ev future
The seats are not the Dinamica seats but the Sequal standard ones
