The big issue is not that there are no creative ideas out there; the problem is that these ideas do not conform to a certain list of standards that a small minority that thinks they are hot garbage wants. Sometimes it even makes you wonder why the suits in control of the purse strings STILL want to pander to this small minority, when we already know these people are only spewing their garbage only for clout to feel good about themselves. Customers are already voting with their wallets to say "we do not want this", but these people still insist on fitting that square peg through a round hole anyway. If they still insist on this path, I am not going to stop them, it's their freedom of choice. However, if this ship sinks, they better not dare point the finger at us for their losses, for we have already made our points clear and they just choose to ignore it anyway.

Hell, their doubling down on nostalgia pandering which people were sick of back in the 2010s? Hollywood might as well completely collapse because if their unoriginality is leaking into animation then their better off just kissing the ring of death and let other countries provide entertainment for America.

American animation studios want the cheapest product possible, and don't care about things like drawing skill, so as each generation passes, the draftsmanship level gets lower and lower, because students in animation no longer need to train super hard in draftsmanship and solid drawing, its been going in this direction since the 50s, shows like tom and jerry, and even the disney shorts they used to put on tv when my dad was a kid were the PINNACLE of american tv animation in terms of animation and drawing skill

This is why - and a lot of people wanna deny this - anime is populating the west more and more. I’m not even big into anime, but amongst the bullshit they be making, they know their audience and it hits. That’s probably why the Castlevania is in anime style; there’s flavor to it and they know it. The animators over there, despite their chicken pea for a salary, put their soul into it. I see more people talking about Hero Academia, Attack On Titan, than any cartoon in the west; even big shows like Young Justice, Clone Wars, and Rick and Morty
