Feeling safe in America is not a thing to begin with.
In the 30’s in Germany Jewish students were banned from Academia. Now in the US they are being prevented from the same.

I HATE what Netanyahu and the IDF are doing but it is absolutely unacceptable to engage in violent hate speech against any nation or group of human beings. Post 9-11 it would have been objectionable to insert the name of any associated group into this chant, for instance “F Afghanistan,” or “F ISIS”. Hate the injustice of holding innocent people accountable, hate the ideologies, but keep the people safe and FEELING safe. ❤

There's no such thing as the "Palestinian question." No sociological group should ever suffer under aparthied or experience genocide or experience mass killing.
You can’t even be serious about this right now.
Jewish students at Columbia University were encouraged to leave the school ahead of the Passover holiday as pro-Palestinian protests continue on campus.
Over the past several days, tensions have risen at Columbia after pro-Palestinian students set up a "Gaza Solidarity Encampment" on campus. Last week, Columbia University President Minouche Shafik said in a statement that she authorized the NYPD to begin clearing out the encampment, which prompted the arrest of many students involved in the protests.
Tensions on university campuses have been high over the past six months as Israel continues its war in Gaza, which began after Palestinian militant group Hamas launched an attack on southern Israel on October 7 that left 1,200 people dead and saw over 200 more taken hostage. More than 34,000 Palestinians have died in Gaza since the war began, the Associated Press reported, citing local health officials.
The Columbia University Apartheid Divest, a student-led group, previously said in a statement that it was calling on Columbia to divest itself from any companies or brands affiliated with Israel.
Lots of Jewish students in the protests though. I guess the Zionist students can leave
Why should any student be told to leave? F you
Kid... Jewish students at Columbia University where also part of the protest against the war, and got arrested... It's not a pro-palestina protest...

I mean this is overwhelmingly a peaceful protest, no? Is the worst example of harassments simply saying "jewish donars directly/indirectly influence politics/university policy/media"? I mean one should be allowed to talk about that without the intention of insult. Every social group tends to have some degree of tribalism. It is often not a good thing, but it is an understandable thing to exist... and we certainly should be able to talk about it.
Here, we have a CNN panel that has no pro-student/pro-palestine voice while overwhelmingly against peaceful protest... Can you really blame people having suspicion of jewish donars indirectly influencing narrative?
I'm not even pro-palestine in the israel-palestine conflict (nor pro-israel). However, I think the way how the student is protesting (zero physical violence, and at worse saying stuff about "donation influences narrative") is a good form of protest (almost as good as it can get). If the narrative of "jewish donar" comes with the intention of insult (a zero-sum way to get personal pleasure by insulting others), then you can call it anti-semitism in a bad way. However, there should be some healthy/positive-sum form of critical thinking of whether some group is influencing narrative in a tribalistic way, no?
Take the fight to the country you believe in, because it's not America. We have problems here that need fixing. Other countries need to fix their own.
@@cydniedonat7635
>"Take the fight to the country you believe in, because it's not America."
It is hard to distinguish one's own ad hoc excuse from one's own genuine opinion. One needs to be self-critical to test if one's own theory is an ad hoc excuse or not.
For instance, do you think it was wrong for people around the world to show solidarity with Hong Kong protesters when CCP push to enforce extradition law, so that Hong Kong people who violated CCP's censoreship law would be forced to be prosecuted according to CCP's law instead of local Hong Kong's pro free speech law?
I think it is reasonable for the rest of the world to show their stands in favor of Hong Kong against CCP. However, according to your saying of "Take the fight to the country you believe in, because it's not America", it is wrong for people to show such solidarity.
Again, it is hard to extinguish one's own true opinion from one's ad hoc excuse. One needs to be self-critical in testing one's own theory.
Furthermore, US is actively net supporting Israel financially, so it even makes more sense for Americans to protest about the issues around israel palestine.
This is not the only video CNN has ever released in regards to the protests. There are plenty of other videos released daily where pro Palestinian voices are heard. I can point you to some if you'd like? Though I don't think it would support narrative.
