I have an year old kashmir willow bat. Because of Corona I couldnt use it and I feel its not 100% knocked, while now when Im trying to knock it, its giving me hard time. How do I go about it. For now I have removed the fiber tape and applied bat (SS TON) oil to make it soft.

Thanks a lot Sir, This video is very helpful for us. But I have a doubt that is it necessary to remove Brand sticker or stroke tape for Oiling and Can I use Camlin purified Linseed oil to Oil a New NB selected willow bat ?? I have already asked same question on your previous video of 25 Nov, 2017.
No, you do not really need to remove the stickers. and yes, you can apply the linseed oil. However, applying on a new bat is not required at all. you can play with it for a while and when the wood gets dry and brittle then you can go ahead and apply the oil.

Sir what about hard pressing, oiling, and machine knocking? Do you recommend them?
hard pressing is done already on pre knocked bats. oiling shall be done if the wood is too brittle and dry. Machine knocking is the laziest way of playing cticket....😂(you can get it done if there is absolutely no time, although I would still do it manually even after it has been knocked by machine)
