Hi Mate. Thank for the great videos. Could you do a video on Harrow size bats, especially for shorter adults and harrows in general. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Jason. Are you wanting to know what makes a harrow bat different from a small adults bat? We can certainly detail who these are for and why you would want one over the other.
If we get one that comes into the shop with the facing on it, we remove it to oil it. If the facing has already been placed on the bat, it may suggest it is already knocked in. You can knock in the bat with its facing on; however, we suggest oiling it first to enable good compression of the fibres. Best of luck
hello sir i am.from india today i purchase premium grade +1 english willow bat .. tell me about oiling and knocking do i sanding ( sand paper ) on bat before oiling please tell me yes /or no because bat in factory weper tell me
Hi Kanhaiya, you can also just oil the bat without sanding. Make sure you oil before knocking in your bat. Oil, then let it dry. Oil again then let it dry. Then knocking can proceed.

Do you also use the automatic locking machine on the face of new bats. Love the vid
We certainly do these days. It’s always a combination of both though.
I can apply oil and knock the bat
After it has fibre tape covering on it?

@@kanhaiyapareek1265 you can sand it if you want. It's just not nessecary. If it was an older bat then I would recommend sanding before oiling.
