NHL Classics: Chicago Blackhawks rally past Boston Bruins in Game 6 | NBC Sports

Doc Emerick knew how to transport the feeling of the stadium to your living room. What a legendary commentator! He made hawks games exciting as well I still remember his 2010 scf call in game 6.
Couldn’t have said it any better, he brought you to the arena through your tv. Well said
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since this classic took place. Great memories.
I don't know much about hockey but dang these commentators are electric and that comeback was amazing!
Doc Emrick was in my opinion the best commentator in sports history. I once heard him doing the commentary for water polo in the summer Olympics and though I'm not a fan of that sport his commentary made it exciting!
You should hear the commentators ESPN have for hockey now. Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeech!!!!
The feeling that came over me watching this game is in-describable. You’d have to experience it yourself. It was an amazing and emotional last few minutes and I will never forget it!
I had a tear or two ,I tell ya boys .I am a Hawks fan since 1975 , I thought I would never see them win one and they won two then three !
It was Bliss, pure joy. 2010 was also a tight game.
Yeah my neighbors hated me badly for this last 5 min of this game for a long time
So the Hawks won 2 of 3 in Chicago, 2 of 3 in Boston, 2 of 3 overtime games, and 2 of 3 regulation games.
I remember watching this when I was 9. The smile it still puts on my face
Man the skill on the Hawks tying goal!!! Kane stick-handling through the Bruins team to get the puck deep/on net and then Keith-Toews-Bickell, incredible finesse in tiny space.. honestly just wow.. took me a while to realize they had even scored 😅 then momentum carried into scoring 3-2 and winning.
Fabulous foreshadowing at 20:27 “Hasn’t happened yet, tho.” 🙌🏼
Can’t believe it’s been 10 years
I was playing poker when Dave Bolland scores and I threw the whole deck off the glass table. Greatest adrenaline rush I’ve ever had.
I miss Doc Emrick soooooooo much.
I remember listening to the last few minutes on the radio. I remember hearing Chicago tie it n then I hear em say Chicago scores a few seconds later and I thought it was just a replay of the tying goal then they say Chicago has the lead n I'm like wtf 😳
Such a fast paced game. My heart felt Like it was gonna explode. That 2013 team was maybe the best. Good times
2014 team was better should have won it
@@MrDuds1984 nah
@@MrDuds1984 Bruins were better in both 2013 and 2014. They blew this series, and blew the series against Montreal the following year.
@@greysonG10 Boston was not better than Chicago in 2013 and 2014
@@MrDuds1984 Yes they were, especially 2014. Look at the stats.
Watched this live at Small Bar in Logan Square, Chicago. Took a cab to Clark and Addison, for some reason, because that was where the party was.
cuz thats where wrigley field is
I remember when I was a kid watching this game with my best friend and neighbor at the time after bollands goal we proceeded to run all across the neighborhood screaming at the top of our lungs… good times
What a game, a real commercial for sport, the NHL and the playstation of the future ... a unique sport, determined and with a fast merabolism.
Watching these highlights never get old
Iconic! Absolutely Iconic!
Remember this like it was yesterday!
My Captain, My Captain! Tied it at 1 when Boston was pretty much in charge of the puck.
Ya Toews was arguably the best player in the league at the time nhl GMA did a poll who they would start a franchise with Toews Ovi or Crosby and it was Toews by a good margin because of his defence
Probably the best final of the 2000s..what a series
Eh, 2011 was the best imo. This series was good but it would have been better if it went 7 and there was more scrap involved.
I agree, it was either this or the rangers kings series even though it only went to 5 pretty much every game went to OT
@@greysonG10 Chicago was the better t
@@masonwright7700 Nope
@@greysonG10 yes. Chicago won. Deal with it
Got to watch this at least twice a week.
This was a battle
SWEET Memories what a way to win a cup, take it.
Could you please do full series, that would be awesome. (Series of the decade maybe? Kings v Blackhawks)
Always respected the 👑 kings after those 2012 - 2015 series’s those were fucking great games.
@@rabbit13992015 won Chicago won the cup again
So good for so many reasons.
NHL is a fantastic sport, bring this sport to Europe on playstation games too.
I still can’t believe we choked this and I’m still upset to this day
Believe it.
Why do I put myself through this 11 years later 😭😭😭
Incredibly ❤
Thx,NBC network !
Rhe 2013 Blackhawks won the Presidents Trophy and had too much speed and skill for the Bruins...Great win for the Chicago Blackhawk Dynasty 2010-2013-2015 Champions!
I do believe the Blackhawks were the better team (they were absolutely loaded) but this was one of those games that you just can't figure out how the Bruins lost. The fact that it was only 1-0 after the first period where it honestly felt like Seguin had the puck the entire time still kills me.
A couple minutes of poor goaltending can make a big difference! Two shots where if he is nice and settled on the goal line never have a chance.
Classic!
I miss these days . Doc emerik on nbc was a classic
Don't worry, Boston, you got this in the bag!
Hawks should have gone to prison for robbery 🔥👌😎🏆
Bruins fans at 6:16 to go: We want the cup!!
Toews at 1:16 to go: Hold my beer-
Hawks at 0:59 to go: Tequila Shot!?
At least Boston was good in this final compared to that disaster in 2019, and by the way I have respect for Blackhawks and I don’t respect the st.louis cheap shots
Greatest comeback since Boston beating Toronto in the same playoffs LOL
0:34 Triple H's theme
Epic
We went Blues!
Just like the movie stir crazy "that's right we bad we bad".
LET's GO BRUINS!!!!!! Blackhawks' fan!
Bruins totally choked!
Bickel and bolland came in church
Leafs fans enjoyed this more than Chicago. Got to see Boston's hearts ripped out after Boston ripped out Toronto's hearts.
this gave me so much sad
😂😂😂😂
@@cjsmith5115 I see no empathy in you 👎👎👎.
@Peter Demos, yeah I understand your sadness even I'm not a fan of either team
@@janneellison7205 ☹☹☹☹
23:12 -23:15 I see you Marchand. Don’t you worry, six seasons later you’ll deal with the same scenario... and you’ll be in tears. ;)
I watched this and when I seen Chicago scored that goal, I knew they were going to score again.
2012-13 season was shortened by a lockout, the Hawks took advantage of that , 10 years already , the best of their 3 Stanley Cup winning teams
"the Hawks took advantage of that" They didn't take advantage of anything, they were just the best team. By a lot. They'd have won the President's trophy however long the season was. And the playoffs were normal length.
They had the same advantage like every other team in the league with the lockout. They just happen to be the ones to come out on top.
As a Bruins fan, I'm not being toxic, but instead I'm going to tell the truth. This might be one of the darkest Stanley Cup wins. Blackhawks fans can feel happy about this, but they shouldn't be proud. We all know what happened in 2013 the marathon got bombed. And people were upset about it and they were depress and suffering, but when the Bruins made the Stanley Cup, they felt a stroke of happiness that maybe just maybe the city would've celebrated victory and they could have healed. But no instead the Blackhawks, which I understand, everyone wants to win the cup but what they did, they can feel happy on the inside, but they should have some remorse at the fact that Boston fans were happy, but then they ripped happiness right out of their hands and caused the entire city to suffer again. However luckily Boston fans would heal by the Red Sox, but at the time it might have felt a little bit messed up. I don't care how much you hate Boston you have to admit needed to come together as a city. Any city would need this doesn't matter who it id.
What does the Boston marathon bomber have anything to do with this? I can say the same about Chicago.
Hey, Zdeno, when you're 7 feet tall, you have a long reach in a fight. But you also have a pretty wide 5 hole. Just sayin.
Go hawks
Ahahahahahahah excellent memory
Boston choked ever since in the playoffs
most recently 2023
The way Rask threw away this game and cup will forever be inexcusable, one of the worst chokers in Bruns history. I know Moog stunk away a few series in the 90's but that's nothing compared to this and 2019.
How many goals did the bruins put on the board in game 7?
Before 2013 game 6 and 2019 game 7, rask was incredible. Bruins wouldn't even be there without him
@@maxbolton5227 In 2013 Rask almost stunk away the first round series against the Maple Laughs, but the team bailed him out.
@@metalguru8140 I don't understand why Bruins fans hate Rask so much. Every goalie has a few bad games. He's been one of the best goalies of the past decade. I wish the Flames had him.
@@maxbolton5227 I'm a Bruins fan and I don't think most of us hate him at all. There's just some people upset that he choked during a couple very important times (2013/2019) and cost them bigly.
I’ll bet Marchand regrets running his mouth to Kane... he opened his mouth and then Kane went nuts.... Boston was over rated in 3015, 3-4 other teams better deserving then them in 2015. and it showed, totally over matched
I'll never understand Players talking smack, unless you can back it up... Bird, Kane, MJ, will make you pay. Make you look foolish...
First off idiot this was 2013. And this final was incredibly even matched but Chicago was better. But it wasnt a fucking blowout. 3 of thr 6 yames went to OT and game 1 went to 3 ots
@@geeman215 yes they will
Yea baby my team i rember watching this game awesome, Chicago was a super team ,that salary cap ,CRAP IS BOGUS PROBABLY A DEMOCRAT CAME UP WITH SOME STUPID CRAP LIKE THAT THINK ABOUT THESE GUYS ALL THE TIME ORDERED ALL THE DVDS,WAN 3 STANLEY CUPS IN 6 OR 7 YEARS CANT REMEMBER NOW
Blackhawks in 6
Everybody hates Boston
Ha Hah Bruins deserve it
:(
