      the only thing i didn't like about him is that he said black coffee tastes disgusting. like... your taste buds adapt. drink coffee black for a few weeks and adding milk and sugar to it will be what tastes disgusting.

      My husband drank black coffee for 18 months then one day felt like life was too short not to enjoy his coffee so started adding a dash of semi skimmed milk again. He enjoys it much more now!

      @@rinkuhero That's not true for everybody. I've had black coffee for years and I still don't enjoy the taste. I just don't want to drink calories so I keep it black.

      The confusing part to this is if you feel that way, why drink coffee? No one is forcing you and you dont need to rely on it. @@rinkuhero

    • @CaPnBaLlBaG
      @CaPnBaLlBaG 11 месяцев назад +9

      @@rinkuhero It depends on the coffee. I worked in coffee for years back in college at a few different spots and to this day I'm only taking coffee black if it's actual good coffee (which tends to be expensive). I'd just rather add a splash of almond milk or sugar free creamer and just eat the absolutely miniscule amount of calories it adds to the drink.

    - tripletriple: 3 cream, 3 sugar
    - 4x4: 4 cream, 4 sugar

      Thank you, that explains a lot. I'm from Europe and even though we also use cream and have places like Starbucks,I guess drinking coffee just black or with milk is still kind of the norm. So the "regular" confused me and I checked how a normal coffee with milk and sugar could have so many calories, lol.

The shots of creamer bought wholesale are 9 mL. And the Gretzky is named after Wayne, it’s 9 creams & 9 sugars, to match Wayne’s jersey #99. The company founder, Tim Horton, was also a great hockey player

    As someone who came from nearly where Josh started, the biggest thing I can say is make a conscious decision to cut out the added sugar. When I did that I went from 230lbs to 185 without any considerations of calories. When you don't eat processed sugar, your body is very good at telling you when you've eaten enough food. Energy levels get higher, mental health improvements were crazy. Anxiety basically entirely went away. Brain fog was gone too. The best part is when you're off of sugar, EVERYTHING else starts tasting better. I used to hate vegetables and now I crave them. 8 months in and I'm probably the healthiest I've ever been, just from cutting that one evil ingredient

    • @alignbyaudrey
      @alignbyaudrey 11 месяцев назад +3

      Does that include protein bars?

    • @ChirsSmedely
      @ChirsSmedely 11 месяцев назад +28

      @@alignbyaudrey I try to avoid them generally, but I do eat them from time to time if I'm low on protein that day. Added sugar is added sugar, and any liquid fruits count as well. I don't do 0 added sugar because it's difficult to sustain but I try to average 10g or less of added sugars per day, and it is literally life changing compared to my old lifestyle where if I added it up I was probably 1-200g per day quite often. The physical health improvements are great but for me the majority of why I stick to this is mental health. Anxiety/depression issues creep back in full force every single time I have a massive sugar intake like a large serving of cake on vacation. I'd be willing to bet a large portion of this generation's mental health issues are due to the normalized ultra processed food diet in North America, or at least the issues are significantly enhanced by food

    Love this video. This guy has the exact issue in the gym that so many people have, every friend thats asked me to sit in with them for a workout. They simply arent challenging themselves in the gym. They are always doing like 60-70% of the weight they could easily be doing, but its hard, so they dont. sometimes you just need to remind someone that the gym is supposed to be hard.
