How come you hate testing the devices functionality and only tests it’s communication to the panel? Interesting video!

It's only a required monthly test. Activate an alarm. Check if all required output activated. Fill up the logbook. That's it. Annual testing involved 50% smoke and 20% heat detectors ample from the field.

The panel is Kentec, and the amplifiers are Ampac. Right?

In Australia, if you want to get hire in this kind of work, you need local experience. There are systems that need to know as well as standards.
