I absolutely ADORE episodes like this where we get to take a deep dive into the making of a record. I've been trying to get a band going for years but fucking suck at songwriting so stuff like this is actually super useful to me.
Bringing up the Black Dahlia tour made me think of Trevor and how he would have been a great guest on this show at some point. Would love to hear some stories the boys have of him at some point if that’s ever called for. Thanks for the content.
100% agree with Colin on favourite songs. The first half of this album is so good, but the songs from Undertow until the end are absolutely phenomenal.
The dynamic of these episodes are incredible because you really get that these guys have all known each other for a long time despite being in separate bands across the country! Been watching since the beginning boys and at this point yall are part of my weekly routine and just keep getting better
Heaven's Call is the track for me. Shout out Casey the bassist too, he came over and thanked me personally at the sound booth for doing their sound in Ontario. Wish all of these guys the best, and Common Suffering is a big big record! \m/
Rob here from Chicago,,,, got the CD a few weeks ago, Love Harm's Way and so cool to see in this podcast about the album/CD that ALL the members are recognized and given props compared to other bands that have an ego or whatever and do not ack ALL the band members! Respect to Bo and all for this! Love the rawness and power of this cd!!!!
Great Episode (as always) Thank you Hardlore ! Peace from Germany.. 🤘✌ btw. "Heaven`s Call" & "Wanderer" are my personal favorites from "Common Suffering" ("Heaven`s Call" is for me a Contender for your "Best Breakdown`s" Playlist!!!!!)
Love the album!!! It's seriously what I've been needing to hear. The album art is great too... had to pick up a shirt. Man, Harms Way has some crazy stories. One thing I'd love at some point from Harms Way is a 10" or 12" more influenced by classic sludge (Corrupted, Noothgrush, Grief, etc.). Right now, the new album is all I need though.
Thank you for the great interview!! I love the whole record but something about the sequence of Undertow and Heaven's Call really feels special. I almost listen to it as one big song.
Heaven’s Call and Terrorizer are my favorites too, and the 3 song streak of those 2 and Cyanide is unbelievable. Strong AOTY contender that’s gonna be hard to top. Also love the Sweetgreen love. One of my go to options for work lunch.
Bo is and always be the greatest dude I’ve ever met, awesome musician and just the way he thinks and executes his talent is truly amazing to watch and listen to. HARMS WAY is a lifestyle. Not just a band.
dude I remember seeing them at Summer of Hate 2011, NOBODY knew who they were, they played right after lifeless and before cold as life, then Bulldoze, then Death Before Dishonor. it was a crazy day. suburban scum, taste the steel, CDC, un it 731, crowd deterrent, king nine , ten of swords, Wisdom in Chains, Stout, Life After Death, it was an INSANE SHOW. 20 bucks. Summer of Hate was the best fest from like 09 thru 13 it was so dope.... but the scene changed, the club tried demanding 30 PERCENT FROM MERCH SOLD, and bands forgot where they came from
I gotta go with Colin on heavens call, I went from too depressed to get out of bed to hate moshing on my fridge in 4 minutes fuckin flat. Good shit fellas
Every week Colin looks more and more lonely, even his frame is smaller in this one :( The thumbnail for this is incredible though, with Colin looming in the background lmao
Colin smiling every time James laughs just knowing he’s going to close up edit it 😂
The close ups of James laughing kill me lmao
What if
You wanted to go to heaven
But god said
Hello welcome, it's Hardlore Time
Pretty sure I heard that at an In N Out bathroom in Ventura.
"I must be in the right place"
Trying to imagine James as a Teacher is just so hard while he’s just sitting over there on a drum throne chuckling the pod away. Good shit boys
Colin enjoying James enjoying himself is SO SO FUNNY
I absolutely ADORE episodes like this where we get to take a deep dive into the making of a record. I've been trying to get a band going for years but fucking suck at songwriting so stuff like this is actually super useful to me.
Bruh the zooming in on James has me fucking dead 😂😂
For me, devour and terrorizer are my top tracks of common suffering.
Bringing up the Black Dahlia tour made me think of Trevor and how he would have been a great guest on this show at some point. Would love to hear some stories the boys have of him at some point if that’s ever called for. Thanks for the content.
record of the year. and this is a MUST listen to front to back. screw just hearin it on playlists.
100% agree with Colin on favourite songs. The first half of this album is so good, but the songs from Undertow until the end are absolutely phenomenal.
Same thing with the second half of "Rust" hahah
The dynamic of these episodes are incredible because you really get that these guys have all known each other for a long time despite being in separate bands across the country! Been watching since the beginning boys and at this point yall are part of my weekly routine and just keep getting better
Travelling to Toronto to see them next week, very stoked.
Heaven's Call is the track for me. Shout out Casey the bassist too, he came over and thanked me personally at the sound booth for doing their sound in Ontario. Wish all of these guys the best, and Common Suffering is a big big record! \m/
Colin hitting the Dune soundtrack vocals at 1:42:09 made my day
Loooool
Bo’s tunnel of bodies giving strong Bad Brains “Rise” vibes. Awesome record.
Wanderer and Dead Space are two of the greatest closers to a whole album I've ever heard in my life. Bangers!
James having to stand after sitting on the drum throne is not only hilarious, but the most relatable thing I’ve ever seen
have fun in hell dude
I thought bo is writing the most in harms way but credit to nick. Those riffs are undeniable. Love that new record.
Watched 75% of the video in the McDon’s drive thru. Y’all made it worth it thank you.
On my shortlist for album of the year, hasn't left my rotation since it came out.
the industrial songs are bangin

1:25:26 I remember that kind of "being in trouble the grounded days" good times.
The show last night in Milwaukee was insane, set list was awesome people were going crazy myself included 😂
Love the album!!! It's seriously what I've been needing to hear. The album art is great too... had to pick up a shirt. Man, Harms Way has some crazy stories. Heaven’s Call and Terrorizer are my favorites too, and the 3 song streak of those 2 and Cyanide is unbelievable. Strong AOTY contender that’s gonna be hard to top.

James’ Christopher lambert “raiden” laugh 😂
2:07:40 Question: “Do you guys believe in ghost?” There’s a song on the album that says: “ let’s do what she said, let’s summon the dead”
Loved hearing a story about little old Perth. Perth Hardcore represent!
Good morning y'all! 🫶🏾🤸🏽♀️🎃
One of the best so far
the James zoom-in cackles had me straight cackling
Dead Space is phenomenal
I got so stoked when I saw “feat. King Woman” during the roll out, ended up being a personal fav on the album 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
ITS HARDLORE TIME!!!!
Sadist Guilt puts me in another dimension. 🔥🔥
Hard’s Way
catching a fucking charge during heavens call. banger
The close up of James laughing after Bo says he had to wipe his mouth with his own extra underwear and then Colin dying is fucking hysterical 🤣
ANIMOSITY LOVE!
Devour and heavens call are my two favorite.
HARMSLORE
Not Collin forgetting the broken arm story 💀James told that last time :b
Seeing Harm’s Way tonight 🤘🏻 fuckin stoked
I gotta go with Colin on heavens call, I went from too depressed to get out of bed to hate moshing on my fridge in 4 minutes fuckin flat. Good shit fellas
32:11 YEA!
It’s time
Ever since the guy from Colin of Arabia said that James looks like a cop I can’t unsee it
I'm offended by the shade thrown at Reese's Sticks. S Tier snack.
no one:
absolutely no one at all:
james: "HEHEH 👹"
Yup. Anchors Up in Haverill, MA was definitely the hottest venue ever. Would be drenched after every show.
Ayo the colour coordinated NWM and TON merch 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
After this episode I'm now a Common Suffering tracks 6-10 guy.
Bruh I have a swollen pickle it's a cross between a fuzz fac3 and a big muff. Super sick and great name 😂😂😂😂😂😂
yeah terrorizer is for sure the best track on the record imo. far and away
At work Harding my lore
Every week Colin looks more and more lonely, even his frame is smaller in this one :(

WHOS CAT KEEPS MOWING IN THIS VID
That's Bo's cat, metallicat.
Bo def playing defense on the James shit talk scenario lol dude hates conflict haha
Candle lit hardlore is too romantic for me…
Colin's a little too greened out for me today.
😂😂😂
Small mouth in the vinyl fold please
If you could get a zoom in on James every single time he does that snicker, that’d be sick.
The Spindrift hate may make me unsubscribe. I can’t believe this 💔
yo @knotfest gimmie a promo code so i can buy a hardlore waterbottle
