At 58 years of age, diabetic, with assorted back and high blood pressure issues. I can't do those jobs anymore. I eagerly look forward to tomorrow's episode

I haven’t had health insurance since November and have to wait 45 days to get insurance through the temp agency. The insurance cancels when the temp position ends. This is a very precarious place to be. I’m 61 years old and at my age I need insurance all the time. I’m also very interested in remote work and side hustles. I bought your book. I can’t wait for tomorrow’s vlog. Thanks for being so helpful. You don’t have to do these videos but you do because you care about people and it shows. Thank you.

Ive also looked a couple of websites, and did about an hour of work on the Amazon Turk site, which is pretty overwhelming. I earned 0.07 cents for the work I did, then came to realize they would provide me with a credit toward my next purchase I think because I am in Australia - not sure. I felt so deflated :(
I am glad that I live in Finland. I don't have to think almost none of that healthcare stuff. I needed to go hospital (I did hit my head) with ambulance couple years ago, hospital was 70km away. Doctor did check me, they did take xray and bloodtest and I talked to doctor again and was released after couple hours. I did take taxi back where I lived back then. All this did cost me about $100. Without insurance and not in my hometown. Oh and also I did get three days paid sick leave from work. Yes I do know that I pay that with taxes, but hey! I do not need to pay insurance company!
1978jra You are very fortunate! Believe me, if I could immigrate to another country, I would! All the European countries and Canada have universal healthcare, America is way behind the rest if the world 🙁

I have Medicaid and am over 60 and have since noticed that Drs and Dentists treat me like I'm some loser with one foot in the grave and I have gotten nothing but very poor service and bad advice and a couple of scripts that I had issues with. Hoping it will change when my Medicare kicks in 2 years from now. BTW I'm in super good health and try to maintain that with good food choices and exercise.

I do manual labor for my grandparents to make some money right now, but am looking for a part time job that I can do. I already applied for a local business but they weren’t able to work around my school schedule, so your video is coming at a great time!
With all the rain in back and the green desert scenery, I suspect you’re in Arizona. I’m self quarantining as much as possible, but this is going to be a spectacular wildflower year, so will still hike early morning. We have low reported cases but probably under reported. Colorado has unusually high number. One thing I worry about for nomads is lack of ability to store much food. At least you have a smaller space to clean. Tp and hand sanitizer is gone from the shelves. Stay safe Robin.

I retired in Nov 2019 (at 60), which means I also lost my insurance. While I was eligible to continue my insurance through work, with no employer match, it was going to cost me $800/mo! I decided to go with ACA, that I could have gotten for less than $100/mo. Of course, this was basically catastrophic insurance, and wasn't what I needed. I selected a higher priced plan ($220/mo), that has a minimal deductible and is $30 per office visit with my primary Dr, and $40 for a specialist. There are many choices available, so ask lots of questions! Thanks for the excellent vlogs!

Another great point about telemedicine. My provider has sent info on how to do this (Montana Health Co op "normal" Bronze plan).
