I honestly get tired of all those things you mentioned. It shouldn't have to take those things to engage a viewer. This video is simply made and great.
watched in 2018, i think almost the same these colors are warm and confortable aswell, in plus the places and clips and even the music choice, very good choices i thought that it was an opening of a gilbhi studios live action hehe
Great job showing off what the lens could do. Most people don't realize you don't need to drop thousands on gear to create awesome content. I've had the lens since 2018 and I love it.
After 7 years, I'm still looking for the full version, like the one you used in this video. I found a few different versions on RUclips, Apple Music, and Spotify, but all of them have a 30-second cut at the beginning
Every frame of your video looks stunning! Great lens and loved your color grading. I've ordered this lens and waiting for the delivery! So excited!! :)
how des it hold up handheld though without the OSS>?? For tripod work yeah it is the best I have seen... but handheld?? I plan on using it on crane gimbal but the added OSS would have made it even smoother...
Was just checking out some videos with this lens and I happen to see this video of yours. This was really well made and it made me relaxed as I watched it. :)
Here is the color grading comment I found from this channel on another video of theirs, hope this helps people looking to get this result: "Hi there, thank you. I used Cine 1 Cinema profile. KD 5207 Vis 3 film settings, size 35mm Full Frame. Film colour 100%, Curve 100% & Grain to 0%. Exposure -0.128, Temperature 6943, Colour wheels blue ish for the shadows. Contrast -8.1, Tint 10% from original colour :)" This was done using FilmConvert Pro 2, which is a $200 plugin for Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro.
what changed the nd filter on this video ? im a noob just asking. from what i know is that it darkens the image ye ? and how did u see it that it isnt made in a program ? is it possible without the filter ?
As always excellent work and I am watching almost all of your videos. Just as a suggestion, I would love to be able to judge of the continuous autofocus capablities of the differents lenses / cameras you try in the next videos :) Cheers
Woo.you are amazing! thank you for sharing camera setting info. I have this lens with a6600, but i don't think i could shoot video like this. a lot to learn for making beautiful videos.
Great video man. I use a meike 35mm f1.7 lens (manual only) and it also produces some very sharp footage. Great to see the sigma in action. Greetings from Sydney
I really love the look of this footage. I have A6300 as well and have numerous manual lenses but looking to purchase my first auto lens for it crane gimbal use. This footage is stellar... but how does it hold up when not on tripod? I know it is sharper then the sony oss 35... but the lack of OSS makes it unusable handheld or when not on tripod?
What stands out to me is how your shots are all locked in either on a tripod or slider. really well done. the picture seems to have a slight washed out look though mut maybe thats what you were going for in color correction. not enough reviews for this lens thanks
Melbourne local here. Beautiful work, really captured the feel of some of these locations. The music made it feel like something from a Miyazaki piece..haha
Jaw breaking color grading. Hope youl have a tutorial for that. Youre so awesome. Ive been your subscribers fors years but still i am fascinated of your videos
You could do so much, make a story, a short movie or smt. Amazing footage combined with a cool story is recipe for success I'm telling you. You can add life to ur work without making a story imagine what you could do with a cool script and some cheap actors. Very cool.
Awesome video. Just wondering, is there any lens distortion in video mode compared to photo mode? I’ve seen videos or distortion on pictures but can’t see any in this video so is it somehow edited out or just none when shooting video?
Great video. I liked it very much. Did you have any problem with the ND filter? Variable ND's are producing X pattern after some stop. Did you shoot video F1.4? Does the lens produce noise when the cam in autofocus mode? It's very important because i want to buy this lens.
Hi there, thanks for you message. I did not have any problems with the Variable ND filter. Also yes, you do hear a bit of autofocus noise. But not loud at all, definitely acceptable :)
Looking awesome! If you can clarify a few moment ill be very appreciate for this. Why you prefere slog2 sgamut, its better than slog3 sgamut3? What gimble did you use in this video? And filming 25fps pal instead 24fps ntsc makes any difference? Colorgrade it with your own luts as i think? :)
@@arbyazizi5650 Hi, I am a beginner and buying Sony A6400 without Kit lens. Should I use it as my first lens? Please tell your experience with this lens in detail. Will you recommend me buying a Zoom or Prime? I want to make Travel and Cinematic videos. I was planning to buy 18-105? I am confused please guide me 🙏
For travel and cinematic video 18-105mm f.4works great (outdoor) but it's poor in lowlight, still it's highly recommended and it does a very good job. You'll need a Sigma 16mm f.4 later.
@@arbyazizi5650 Can I start with a Sigma 30mm as I am on a budget right now. Is it a versatile focal length? I will upgrade later. The only problem I will face is the Stabilisation. Any suggestions for that...?
No funky zoom transitions. No tricky sound effects. No distracting bullshit.
Just a good "back to basics" video. Great job, man.
Yeahhhh totally agree with you
I honestly get tired of all those things you mentioned. It shouldn't have to take those things to engage a viewer. This video is simply made and great.
I agree
the best coloring of any video ever posted to youtube, not exaggerating.

I agree
kavyansh Bhardwaj the fuck you're talking about?

Not really...
I loved the colour grading on this video, so soothing with that soundtrack. Also, so compelling and pleasing to watch. Great job!
Editing+Color Balance+Music+Footage- Compliments the whole thing. Damn beautiful.
I wish there were more videos like this for other lenses. Awesome work.
Great job showing off what the lens could do. Most people don't realize you don't need to drop thousands on gear to create awesome content. I've had the lens since 2018 and I love it.
Got this lens yesterday honestly I was bit upset I could not get a 16mm sigma but after watching this man this lens also has good video potential.
nice, so very cinematic, great!

This was stunning. I had no idea a lens video sample could evoke so much emotion.
omg! what a master! 10/10 the music and sfx - grading was beautiful.
Lovely footage and addictive colouring. I forgot that I was actually researching the lens lol..

This was wonderful and so pleasant to watch. Thanks!
Superb work. Simple elegance!
Awesome shots!! Do you need an adapter or anything to put the lens onto the Sony a6300? And if so, which one do you have?
the best color grade iv seen in yuotube!

Does the a6300 overheat?
Great video, did you do anything to clean up the noise in post ? I am thinking of purchasing this lens due to having noise issues with the kit lens

Fantastic shot. Would you be able to tell me what is the ND filter you used on this one. Cheers, mate.
The coloring was Hollywood level. It felt like some hollywood actor is just gonna pass by.
But how did you get rid of the ISO noise ?
Love love.. the real cinematic
That was beautiful! Very nice compositions and the lens is sharp wide open. These sigma lenses are quite remarkable. This is my next lens!
Great video, How is the continuous autofocus in video mode? as quick as Sony native lens or comparable?
Thanks for your opinion..
Beautiful color grade!
Amazing. What program do you use colorgrade?
like the poster below, excellent video without the stupid transitions and tons of slow mo bullshit you see in other 'cinematic' videos. Good job DSI
Thankyou for making this video 😍
I'm not sure if it's the lens or your skill 😅
Definitely the skill. He made Gopro footage looks like a high end camera quality. This guy is a gem.
I have exactly the same gear, I'd say it's absolutely his skill.
