Yours looks really good in black. Have had a few black cars and wanted a change so got gray but now questioning that now. Like the grille a lot too.
Thanks heaps! I was actually close to getting the dark grey one they are still sick. these cars are awesome for simplicity in mods, can't wait for the power mods to come out a bit more as they develop

Great video mate. I’m getting the same mesh grille but I’ll probably get Larry/ Harry to install it. They’ve done loads every conceivable mod & work mega fast.
Also some smoked reverse light tints from 21Overlays improve those tails lights tremendously.
Awesome! They are great to deal with! And the 21 overlays stuff is really good as well. The other grill I have I did the black and white badge overlay from them
@@JoelBrownefilms I did the front, rear & steering wheel overlays in black & red on my VB as well as the reverse light smoked tints. My interior I modded with carbon fibre parts from eBay & Andro Motorsports. Rear wing, side skirts & spats from Street Element/Dmaker.👍
I also got a WRX bonnet scoop sticker from Boxer Beauty.
Thanks Larry for the video recommendation! And omg I wish I waited another 24hrs before doing mine :(. Snapped a headlight washer guard and my fog lights don’t seem to turn back on. Unsure if it’s possible to plug them in upside down but most definitely have plugged them in. Any help would be loved
108 dollar mistake for the washer guard :-(
oh no! you can access the foglights a bit easier from below by removing a 10 mill bolt and and i think its 3 clips to pull the underside of the guard down - might be a bit easier to recheck as doing it from the top i found it was harder to see if it was all connected properly
Will have another look under the tray tomorrow when it stops raining, thanks again. But also might be worth redoing the front bumper cause I noticed you took the plastic catcher off, I wasn't sure about removing it but seeing you do it makes me want to do the same. feels silly having it in. Thanks again, wish I caught this prior to me doing my swap.
Where did you get the lip kit in the matte black? Every one I see is gloss black. Do you have a link?

Great video! Unrelated question if you don't mind, I have the same car as you and i am thinking of getting the turbosmart kompact dualport bov would there be any issues for the car without a tune and keeping it stock?
Thankyou I appreciate it! There are varying discussions on it that I have heard. The newer wrxs are a lot more touchy when changing intake and bpv compared to the old ones, apparently it causes issues without a tune/ may throw engine lights etc but I haven't had any personal experience I'm sorry. I'm keen to look into it but as these cars can make some good power with mods and a tune. I do miss all the noises my sti made haha
