- In this video I share a simple pattern for a lace edging or trim, made with crochet cotton thread size 10 (such as Aunt Lydia's), which can be used for many different projects. For example, it can be sewed onto pillow cases, flat sheets, towels, etc. It can be made into a bookmark. There are so many possibilities!
Skill Level: Easy
Measurements: about 2.5 inches wide when worked with hook size 1.25 mm; about 3 inches wide when worked with hook size 1.5 mm

This video is the best of its type. I really appreciate that you took the time to give verbal instructions. Some of the crochet artists are just putting music on and expecting us to ignore that distraction and try to read instructions at the same time that we watch, which is very hard to do! Yours is much better. I am making myself some lace curtains for the kitchen and I will crochet some of this lace from your video and attach it the squares I have already made. I think it will be very pretty. Thanks so much for your kindness, generosity and hard work.
You are most welcome! Thank you for writing your comment and giving me feedback. Happy crocheting!
You could make throws with joined strips of lace, sweaters too, shawls using various lengths of this. Very nice!
So pretty! I could carry this in my purse and work on it whenever I have a few minutes. Thank you!
That's what I usually do when I have a thread project, it's small and fits into my purse. Thank you for your comment!
Just made this scarf. This pattern is a gem. Wife loves it. Even though it’s only two row repeat the result is very interesting and classic. I found this work to be quite technical so be sure you got your double crochet handwork down before starting. Big thanks !
Beautiful! I made a couple bookmarks for christmas gifts last year. I will have to make some of these for this year! Thank you 🐰🐰

You are most welcome!
Beautiful 🤩 What are the multiples?
I guess you will have to do the "hit and miss" method. I've NEVER gotten an answer to a question on one of these videos
😂 Thank you for the heads up
I didn't include the multiple because I made an edging and there were no pattern repeats.
But just because you asked, I just did the calculations, and if you want to make it into a wider fabric, it would be a multiple of 15, plus 7.
@@Shoddyer1 Hi! I do try to reply to all the comments that I get, though sometimes I miss some, you know, life gets in the way. But I greatly appreciate the comments I get, and I do want others to use and enjoy my patterns/tutorials, and if they have questions I do try to help.
@@OlgaPoltava Thank you so much for taking the time to make the calculations and replying to my question 🙂. I’ll for sure be making this lace edging 💗
