@@icemanfiveoh Thank you very much. Unfortunately, I'm not on Insta, FB, etc. If you must, please give it to someone who is. Thanks again for giving back to the community.
This is my first soldering project and following your actions step by step makes it a lot more manageable! I did struggle with the pin from the chip that is very near to R3. I thought the solder joints had to be separated but you seem to just solder the whole lot together. Why doesn't it matter in this case? Kind regards, Michiel!
That's awesome! Depending on what the schematic shows, it is possible some pins are meant to be soldered together. I would say for the most part you should solder them individually, but when you look at the PCB sometimes you can see that the pads are tied together. They do this for reasons like multiple outputs to sink more current and things like that. Also, it may appear that I am soldering them together, but that could be for speed, and then I go back and separate any pins that should not be shorted together. That is decades of experience in soldering and knowing what should or shouldn't be connected. The traces and pads on the PCB will tell you what should be connected together. Make sure to triple check your work against the schematic and, if possible, use an ohmmeter to verify the connections before you apply power. Sort of like measure twice cut once... Thanks for the comment and good luck.
Capacitors block Bass. Inductors block treble. If you want less bass out of the speakers, you can solder the cap across the speaker inputs. It's optional IMHO. If it sounds ok, I wouldn't add them. Thanks for the comment!
Hi! I was following your instruction and it works! However, when I increase the volume it keeps disconnecting, what can be the problem? Thank you for your video! It really helped me because I am still a newbie in DIY.
How are you powering it? Almost seems like whatever you have it plugged into isn’t supplying enough current. I would try plugging it into a brick or something that can deliver more power. Let me know if that makes a difference…
@@icemanfiveoh Hi! I noticed the LEDs turn from bright blue to pale blue whenver I turn the volume up, perhaps the problem is the resistance? The same as my problem above? Or is it current?
Ok everybody! i just picked a winner with the random comment picker and I'll be uploading the video later today! If you left a comment watch the giveaway video to see if you won. I'll also leave a comment here for the winner to contact me on Instagram so i can get the shipping details. Thanks again to everyone who watched and participated in the giveaway.
I will be editing and uploading that video around 3pm central standard time. I will leave that video's link here in the comments of this video as well.
Hi, thanks for your video. I have everything ready now and everything seems to work fine except for one detail, the sound is so low that you can't hear any sound even at the highest volume. I also felt that the white panel is a bit warm. I don't know why but I got a pair of capacitors 470uF 16V in the package. What could be the cause?
I’m going to do the giveaway around 11am central time Monday January 16th. I’ll do a video and pick the winner with a comment generator. I’ll then let the winner know and then I can get their details for shipping.
Since it's an RF Hakko, It has set temperature tips. I use the yellow tips mostly, which I believe are 825F. Make sure you aren't using lead free solder, that stuff is the worst. And liquid flux foes a long way, even if you use rosin core solder. Good luck on your future projects!
Can you get fed ex packages there? That’s how I would ship it. Some countries have been having issues with accepting fed ex packages due to worker shortages.
@@icemanfiveoh Yes I just check . Fed ex package from other countries to india available. Can I share this video with my friends so that they can participate in this giveaway and will subscribe your channel.

whenever the song goes high like getting a high pitch or going chorus it stops.

Hello, what did you dp with the two left over components?
Are these also capacitors?
Without looking back at the video, I can't say for certain. But I have a feeling they were probably capacitors. Thanks for the comment!
Can you tell me what size solder is that ?
I think it .030... Pretty tiny. You can always add more! Thanks for the comment!
