I got the harness from 4into1.com. The wire gauges were fine and the same size, BUT a while down the road, my son started to experience some weird electrical issues. I discovered that there are splice points in the harness, like for power and ground, that use those stupid crimps. Not soldered or anything. I pulled the whole harness out and went through it and soldered EVERY one of the crimps. Overall the harness was good except for that. But if you need one now, you know to give it the once over and solder those connection points. It works pretty good! I like that I can put the bolts in the rough shape of where they came out. We spent so much time figuring out where they all went because there were a few different sizes and I didn't want to mix them up... Thanks again for all your help Billy!

I really like how it's turning out. I have been able to pick every piece to stitch old Frank back together. Not only that, but I also just dropped off my tins to be painted. I'm going silver metallic. I found a pic of an old Ironhead with lots of chrome and silver paint, and it looks so good. Thanks for the comment! I wish I could keep working on it over the winter. I would kill to have a rec room to build it in! LOL.

I've had no issues so far. It works pretty much the same as it did before. If you are happy the way it is, you might want to leave it the way it is. I like to mod things, so it wasn't really a concern for me. Thanks for the comment!

Yep. They are the same truck.... Mazda just dolled it up. I bought my Ranger after my son bought his. This is the 2nd Ranger I've had. When my Dad passed, my Mom gave it to me. I loved that Ranger, it was a 99. I didn't have a place to keep it, so I sold it. That and the starter died, and I needed to move it. That's why I bought this one. @@sickfoo5506 are you talking about how the headlight lenses are mounted to the truck? I think the lenses are held in with a ball and socket connection. If so, you can try some spray to help get them removed. You should be careful when trying to remove it. If you can give me some more info on what you are trying to do, I can give you a better answer. If you have an LED capable flasher relay, then no resistors are required. Conventional relays work because of the resistance of the bulb. In most cases the incandescent bulb draws about 100-200 ma, which is plenty for old relay flashers. New LED's only draw about 20-40ma, which isn't enough for those old flashers to work. Before 75 Harley’s were left foot brake right side shift. Then the nhtsa forced all bike mfgs to conform to one way. So left side shift and right foot brake became standard. So anything before 75 was the old Harley way.

It is a V2. Make sure the bands are lining up with the contacts in the pinecil. And you are using a 3D printed tip adapter, right? I didn't have any issues getting it to work. I did add a smoked clear case for mine, so I could see the contacts through the case, that made it easier.
