Looking good....I still love the minimalist nature of the old Sportys....I rode a 74 Sporty decades ago.....then about a decade back I went on an eBay spree....bought a dead 1970 motor complete....then a frame and front end, tins....a rebuild on the motor and tranny, and a lesson about Chinesium parts....a kicker shaft I installed snapped right off on the 6th kick....it wound up being sold off to an old Sporty fan as I was about done building an Evo chop in my rec room...
I really like how it's turning out. I have been able to pick every piece to stitch old Frank back together. Not only that, but I also just dropped off my tins to be painted. I'm going silver metallic. I found a pic of an old Ironhead with lots of chrome and silver paint, and it looks so good. Thanks for the comment! I wish I could keep working on it over the winter. I would kill to have a rec room to build it in! LOL.
