@@KeyserTheRedBeard unfortunately everything is about clickbait these days so you need amazing thumbnails and titles, which mine suck lol

The quality is nice! I recorded this a week ago and I've been using it daily since. Very good! Good to hear from you as well Mick. How's the oscilloscope treating you?

@@HamedAdefuwa Cheers Hamed - all good thanks, as you said, the Hantek a nice entry-level bit of kit 👍🏻 I’m trying to do more Arduino stuff as well, but work has been getting in the way 😀 I try to follow your other coding vids, but they are way above me at the moment 😃 I think the car projects with internet are excellent mate.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I've finished my second year of uni but working for myself in the energy business has me doing 50 hours a week. Barely get time to string together some videos. If you need any help with the Arduino coding videos I'm more than happy to help. That's the one area I'm kinda ok in lol.

It’s arrived…..just back from hols and the kit is here. Thank goodness for your research, as the PCB is nice, but no resistor values on there. Also saved me from soldering the LEDs incorrectly….top job 👍🏻 Looking forward to building it.

😂😂 learn from my mistakes. My wife loves the thing, she's taken it now and uses it every day. The sound quality and volume is really decent. We mostly use the Bluetooth feature now but still have an SD card in it. It's the living room and atleast 3 people have asked if I can make them one, even with the dodgy LEDs. Nice that you went on holiday. I just got back from a couple days in Liverpool and London myself. Suns gone. 😔

Test LED’s first before soldering them; just in case any is faulty.

Karim do you find this to be beneficial? I've never actually had a faulty LED before. Maybe you've worked with a lot more LEDs than me lool.

I am a very beginner at soldering and looked up about 50 videos, he could easily have achieved good soldering using non corrosive flux it would have aloud solder to flow better to the [IN HOLE components]board, and not have to worry about clean up even when using rosin core solder wire i find it better always to use more flux.

I was and still am really interested and I agree that the damaged speaker and lack of a link to instructions is poor or strange, especially when they are providing access via email to get them and I think that is where you needed to stop and get in touch with the company through email and request the instructions, inform them of the damage and encourage them to take on board these things, as they would improve the take up of sales, I went on and started to order, however the shipping cost was as much as two units.
I hope you got your presentation for university done and it was a success, your comments where honest without being defeatist. I purchase things from different parts of the world, usually camera items, but the shipping costs need to be amended or a scale that you can order up to a weight, as it was the same shipping cost, $44 to U.K. for two of these speaker kits, which I have to say are really cool and I though of doing one for each of my sons and one for myself.
Good luck for the future DG New Forrest U.K. ps I have subscribed and continue the tutorials, it will get better, none of us where born with life manuals.

Thanks David ❤️! Just about to submit my dissertation today so hopefully I'll be back to making videos again soon. My kids actually smashed the case to bits so this is out of use right now so I'm hoping to 3d print a case for it. I'm not sure what's happened on the shipping costs side of things, perhaps crazy inflation and china lockdowns, because I've ordered a few things from China recently and paid crazy delivery prices + had silly long wait times. Thanks again David ❤️👍
