Better that way. It sucks. It gives you obscenely dense topology, the noob bars are way way better for performance. And you can't even fix it with a decimate modifier, it's honestly quite bad.
I've been making boats in freecad recently, in part because It's far easier to loft things in Freecad and also because Freecad is suppose to get good here soon with version 1.0.
Sorry for ruining the joke, but ut depends on the fence. If it is a metalic one, they will be welded together and you won't notice it. If they are made of wood, they will look like that.
TBH results are not the same. Second one looks like it casted from metal as one part and first one looks like it composed from different parts (from different materials or so). Different artistic goals.
Going from learning 3DS Max in college to Blender at home I’m finding a lot of the modeling side of animation is knowing techniques to keep you from turbo smoothing yourself into a blue screen.
Depends on what your going for,the second one is just too perfect,a method like the first one and then using a boolean to mix them makes it less perfect so it looks more realistic
Thank you actually! I was not really looking for a tutorial on how to make handrails but, now I can make a better map :D. But can you make a playlist with all of shorts about blender?
I know how to do it the second way, but i would still do it the first way because I wouldn’t think of it. I agree though that Its definitely faster and easer and overall better.
The good thing about learning blender in my free time is that everytime i have a school project and need to present something i use Blender to do models, animation, everything
Oh. Well, that's interesting. Does that mean that the pro version also prevents z-fighting between objects, or does the noob version merge all of those tubes or whatevers that were made???
Every day I learn that there's a new key bind for something I did that could have been done by pressing a single button, why are there so many key binds I can't keep up with all these key binds AHHHHHHHHHH
I have never used the skin modifier in my life. Good on you for teaching me something im GOING to forget
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. U better not forget
Use it then, even if it doesn't amount to much 😊
I made a playlist on blender tips tricks and tutorials
@@BelldofersMatlack sounds good, thankyou

Finally.
Its time i use all my knowledge of blender from the shorts.
For my animation class.
That sounds awesome
All fun and games until they pull up adobe animate instead
@@pianoman5259 as of currently, my class only teach using adobe after effects, photoshop, and blender.
so im safe.
for now.
Lmao
Noob artist: good for natural, rural landscapes
Pros: good for precise urban constructions.
Game devs, take notes!
Let me get my notes 😂😂😂💪
I have the sudden urge to watch blender tutorials now
Awesome. Glad to have you here
Level design is going to be so much easier knowing all of these tricks i keep coming across.
Yesss🙌🙌🙌 let’s goo
I go from laughing at myself at the beginning because it's always me, to taking serious notes to become better 😂
😂🤣😂. lo me every single video
I design ships in blender with detailing like this, this is gonna be a GAMECHANGER
Yeah this would definitely work for that
I've been making boats in freecad recently, in part because It's far easier to loft things in Freecad and also because Freecad is suppose to get good here soon with version 1.0.
Doing things monotonously isn't always a noob move.
Well said
depends on what style ur going for :)
Exactly
Pro artist scaled the fence down incorrectly, the spacing between the fence and the edge of the ground is different throughout
lol such a lazy pro artist
@@osasart I'm just pointing it out XD
I love your content anyway and it doesn't subtract from the video at all
@@osasart and tbh most pro artist are lazy for a good reason XD
@@impherisBut anyway they get paid better...i wanna think
"Shrink/Fatten" with negative offset and "Offset Even" checked is the right way to do this.
It depends on the fence you trying to go for.
Not so many fences got a horizontal spout at floor level.
Yeah true
can't you just boolean subtract?
Just put it in the ground.
The noob version looks like what construction workers do, haphazardly putting up fences, versus the pro, which is what they build.
Very well said 😁🙌🙌
I've never used blender in my life and I'm not planning to but these videos are so satisfying to watch
this mad relatable😭🙏🏻 imma like this vid in 4 years.
😊💪 awesome
Boy gee golly I’m sure glad this person decided to show us the process and explain it so we can learn instead of just speeding through it to flex
😂😂. Awesome.
Finally, handrails. Now my renders will be approved OSHA!
Yesss. All that power 💪🗿
I was thinking of using the wireframe modifier but this works too
Yeah they both work. Wireframe is lighter on your scene but at the cost of it’s looks
I have never used that modifier in my life 😭I’m glad YT always shows me your vids I learn something new every time
Let’s goo!!! Glad you do.. YT you the goat for this 😭🤣
Thickenings are visible at the junctions of the pyrillas
Nice observation
Can you please do a tutorial on this, its hard following without knowing what's going on
Alright sure I would break it down and post on my channel
Noob artist made it actually more realistic since he made the fences like they're made IRL
😂🤣😅 can’t deny that
Sorry for ruining the joke, but ut depends on the fence.
If it is a metalic one, they will be welded together and you won't notice it. If they are made of wood, they will look like that.
Goddamn just what I’m looking for. Thanks
You are welcome. Glad to have you here 😊
TBH results are not the same. Second one looks like it casted from metal as one part and first one looks like it composed from different parts (from different materials or so). Different artistic goals.
Nice take on this
Adding Mark Sharp on some loops would fix that and still take less time.
This ones actually really helpful as someone who's used blender for 4years👍
Wow +20EXP Gained
Could have also scaled the whole mesh for the railing to the X&Y axis for more precision.
Yeah true 😎

Good luck with that.
This is pretty good
Thanks a ton
Going from learning 3DS Max in college to Blender at home I’m finding a lot of the modeling side of animation is knowing techniques to keep you from turbo smoothing yourself into a blue screen.
😂😂 very true, optimization is needed
Although I have no experience of doing this it’s very entertaining to watch
Maybe we would convince you. Thanks for being here
Depends on what your going for,the second one is just too perfect,a method like the first one and then using a boolean to mix them makes it less perfect so it looks more realistic
Yeah depends on what you going for
This channel has taught me, there's an easier and simpler way to do everything
Yeah very true. Thanks for being here

I personally would have use the inflate tool to push the faces inward a little rather than a scale amd transform.

nice tool. Blender is getting good...
Yeah funny how enough it has been underrated for so long
Can you do that without the weird bevelling in the intersections?
Sadly no solution yet
@@osasart 😔
you can instead convert it to curves and give it a thickness. perfect intersections, and just a tiny bit more work
@@carlosmarx2380 brilliant. Thank you!
Pro artist probably has a geo nodes asset in his library for that xD
😂😂😂
I really need to just search easy ways to make the things I want, like good lord that looked like a life hack
😊😅 yeah very nice method
Seriously, I wonder what app is this. So cool 😊
Blender 3d software and it’s free
Thank you for using a friendlier sound effects on the first half of the video.

As my professors used to say , “Dont work hard, work smart”
Yes smart work
There is some truth in it. Laughed hard though. Cool video 😂
😎😅 thanks so much

Nice 😅
wish i had known this before i did an industrial scene 😭
😮. Would have been really helpful
The takeaway I have with all of these amazing videos is: think of the whole, not the parts. You're not recreating the manufacturing process.
Yes very awesome 😎
First one looks like wood, second one like metal bars
Yeah true
Did you notice that the noob got the job done quicker than the pro ;)
😂😅 he sure did. In a messy way
ahh yes the flesh fence my favorite
lol nothing compared to

☺️😅. Thanks so much. Glad to have you here
damnnnnnnn this one was hard af
💪🗿
It seems that in the first method you save polygons by hiding the ends inside the vertical cylinders, if it is for games I think I would go for that
Works too
It's a modifier 😭🙏
ey man! i really wanna learn that pro way, do you have tutorial?
BRO, TAKE IT SLOWLY, I have trouble studying😢
I am sorry. 😅😅 I would post normal version on my channel
I will save this
Awesome 👏🔥
I thought this was the wireframe modifier. What’s the difference between that and skin?
The skin gives a better result but a lot of it would slow down your scene
I would have used edge as curve
Smart move
Bro can you turn on the Key pressed tab which show which key you pressed
Yess sorry I omitted it in that video
The way my jaw dropped 😂
@@mrcloud234 😂🤣 I can relate
Id separate the verticals from horizontals to keep the edges, if its not welded
