Thanks Todd. Julie will be back at the end of the month! Hopefully I'll be caught up from the chaos of the sewer saga and we'll get some project videos posted!
Love this!!! Was looking for cheap 2x4 shelving for my garage and came across this. So much cleaner and I like how I can change up the shelves as I need!
I am impressed! Nice work and great attitude. I am always looking at other peoples ideas to collaborate with my own projects ...I don't understand why I have not run across you prior to this. I have watched several of your videos in a row and you now have me as a fan and now subscriber. Thank you, so much for sharing and keep up the great work!!
Thank you so much for not yapping throughout the entire video explaining what you are doing while doing it... and just DOING IT! great video! I subscribed quickly!
You are my hero! I love the music, the dancing, and the singing (yeah, I heard you). I am a tinkerer of the power tools and I really enjoyed your video. I now have something more to do on my Coronacation.
Nice take on the brackets. I might use this and for one level of shelf, and then just screw on a plywood sheet for a toolwall underneath. Cheers, and you got a new sub.
You cut a 2x4 in half and mounted those to the wall? Then 3/4 inch plywood for the side support on those 2x4s or was that 1/2? And 1/2 plywood for shelves? Sorry if missed that on video. Thanks!
That is a Centipede Sawhorse. I got mine at Lowe's for about $40. If you look online, there are several different sizes. The legs are so flimsy you wouldn't expect it to hold anything but the way it's designed -- it holds a lot of weight.

why are there four of one length and three of another at the 1:41 mark...why not all the same length? doesn't cutting the pointy tips off later change the angles?
Hi Sandra, what is that red thing on your back, ay first I thought it was some kind of belt but it doesn't go all the way around?. As someone that suffers with a bad back ( broke it and now have steel bars so that I can stand) if it is for back support I would love to know what it is so I could try it and see if it helps me.
0:30 you were almost begging for your saw to kick back that lumber. Make a push stick and make your cuts in one pass. When using your track saw, use a 4X8 sheet of insulation for your sacrificial surface. It is much lighter and easier to move around by yourself than MDF or even plywood, and it costs less.
Begging..?? Not everyone NEEDS a push stick .. Some are confident in what they do & KNOW what they are doing... You do it your way, others will do it THEIR way ...
@@ACommenterOnRUclips Honestly, this is the first time I saw someone cutting a board with 2 passes (half and half) on the table saw. Is that common way? Recommended? Dangerous?

Hey awesome chic. What did you use to turn off your sawstop table saw, some kind of remote. I recently upgraded to a sawstop and had an injury with kickback and am looking for a different way to turn off my saw instead putting my pretty face near the table to turn off. Hope all is well looking forward to more videos.
How tall was the tallest part of the triangle bracket? Also, it didn't look like you glued the bracket to the wall plate before attaching, was that because you might want future movement? Last but not least, how many and what kind of screws did you use for mounting the bracket too the wall plate; are you concerned about fastener shear? Thanks!

Just hanging from your arms with feet curled up like you 1st did was enough. Next you did great work with those brackets. A bit overkill and too much design went into play but i just buy 15 inch white shelve brackets from Lowes or HD for $2 and just use 3 screws and drive then into the 2x4 behind the drywall ..

1/2"

Missed a question: the brackets are designed so the weight is dispersed to the wall cleats. The cleats are not going to twist, sag, slide...

I like that the floor is spotless...no sawdust; shavings or spilled paint; glue etc. Also a shop of what looks like brand new used tools.
