  • Taking a test ride on a customized Harley Davidson Iron with a 1275 Hammer Performance conversion kit. I didn't know that when I rode it, because someone had put the stock air cleaner back on it and castrated the machine. Nothing a new air intake and a tune couldn't fix. But you're definitely not seeing the full potential of this bike in the video.

    That rumble man! i like that turn signal they separate it and the light is mounted on the handle bar it give a clean look at front and the size of that bike is good for me i'm 5'8 and 75kg weight i try to sit on it last month and it so good! but it was not on🥹i want to feel the rumble can't even rev it😭.

      I'm doing new handlebars (actually installing them now as I'm writing this reply) going to clean up the front end even more. Will also be doing a video with the mic near the exhaust for even better audio. Stay tuned for those! You're going to love how this bike turns out! Thanks for watching ✌🏻😎

    I always preferred the 883 looks compared to the 1200. I just think it's weird the people that buy an already expensive motorcycle, and change the entire engine. Exhaust and air filter I get, but the whole engine? Nice video bud :)

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  3 года назад +1

      Thanks man! I agree with you on the looks. I like the 883 over the 1200 as well. The difference with the engine is, when you convert the 883 engine, it ends up faster than the 1200 because the gearing is different. But yeah, it's like this guy did the opposite. Engine with no complete stage 1 🤣 Thanks for watching!

    • @Supremebean303
      @Supremebean303 Год назад +2

      You can buy a used 883 for cheap and then spend maybe spend $1.5k to upgrade it. Overall $5k-$7k which isn’t that expensive all together if you do it right. I picked up an 883 for $2.5k and it needed a little work but overall worth it. Once I put in a kit overall I’ve spent on the bike will be $6k prolly. Which is cheaper than a 1200 and faster than some stock soft tails that are $9k+. That’s why people upgrade the engine on these.

  • @rrdiving8695
    @rrdiving8695 3 года назад +1

    Cool bike. Why would they put that engine in there and not have a high flow air cleaner? That's just stupid!

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  3 года назад

      Bike is absolutely castrated with that stock air filter. Gotta get a lot of air to that bigger 1275 engine! That would be fix priority number 1 for me if I get the bike.

      @MOTOBLADE Thanks dude, mine keeps playing up. O2 sensors and rear coil ignition driver, it's gone wrong twice both on hot days and been sitting in slow traffic. Hoping if I move the rear ignition coil to more airflow will help.

      @@thebeertracker.jaybeertrac9846 I’m in Vermont. I haven’t ridden this bike in weather over 80 degrees and I’m in the country with zero stop lights and zero traffic. Occasionally I have to wait for a cow to cross a road and that’s a traffic jam for us. So I’ve never had any issues, but that’s good to know, it could just be the environment I’m riding in.

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  3 года назад +1

      I've thought about it, but the Hammer 1275 performance kit on this one has higher torque and horsepower. Also this bike costs less than a new iron 1200... something to consider though!

      @@MOTOBLADE Very good point. And the gearing on the 883 will make even a 1200 kit faster than a stock 1200 bike.

      Plenty of parts for Indian. I’ve owned a Chief Dark Horse and currently own a Chieftain Dark Horse. Incredible machines. Far superior in build quality to Harley. Don’t get me wrong, I like my Harley, but the Indian is way better. And the more prolific they become, the more parts will become available
