I loved every single moment of this: music! Witty remarks! Inspirational sharing of deep emotional conflict! Cutting noises, both live AND sped up! Oh, and of course, an amazing scratch build, worthy of the greatest gaming table and most epic battles!
This is one of the best builds I've ever seen. It's not overly polished, but that's what makes it so good. To me, tabletop crafting is about the fun and the love you put into it. I would rather see a build like this on the table than a more "realistic" 3d print any day.
The purple and blue accents are amazing. The claws look electrified and that eye I on point! There is a steampunky vibe to the result which makes me immensely happy. Can't wait to see the pictures on Instagram ❤️👍
Another great build. A tip on painting gold; you can use silver paint for highlighting the same way that you normally use white. When using silver you wont lose the metallic shine.
You have a real talent for visualizing three dimensional shapes. It's awesome to see you work. I can picture a cool dragon in my head but when it comes down to trying to make one it's a whole different story
These techniques are really incredible. You make it look so easy. It's also really modular. Want a snake? Leave off the limbs. Want a big ass lizard? No wings. Great work.
Hammer smashed that LIKE BUTTON! Fantastic build mate! It's really great to see what creative use you find for everyday objects and random bits you find in the woods :D
This is magnificent ..You did an amazing job of this dragon ,that touch of purple made the difference I thing it gave the scales more of a 3D effect ..Bet you was proud of yourself when it was finished ..It just Beautiful 😀
DONT "Trust the toilet paper" your finger can and will go through it! But seriously this is a really awesome channel that i just found out about and i have watched alot of the videos en a few days. The different materials and methods you use are both simle and effective. i cant understand that you dont have more Subscribers than you have but you atleast have one more now :) Keep up the good craft
Your way of making miniatures and terrain are very helpful! Whenever I look up tutorials I always have a hard time finding the materials in my country. Thank you for doing what you're doing because now I can create these cool crafts that you make without having to worry about the materials! :'D
I just love this. I'm hoping I can copy what you did. I'm in the middle of building a medieval castle. It would be really cool to have a dragon . Thank you. I love your work.
You are incredible man! You stimulate me with your videos to materialize my imagination! The sessions of D&d with my friends will never be the same with your help. So thankful for your work and all the love and adventures from Brazil!!!!
Wow, absolutely beautiful! I get excited every time I see a new video from you, especially when dragons are involved! I currently finished building my second custom monster thanks to your videos and it's just waiting for a paint job when I feel up to it. Thank you so much for showing these awesome techniques! I love the purple shading with the gold, it looks absolutely stunning ^^ Great work, and great singing as well :D
I tried to make this dragon, it turned out okay but I stumble into some problems. As a begginer at model crafting here are some tips that I got from this experience: -Not every cardstock is the same, depending on the country you may have different characteristcs on its quality, so mine card stock is very rigid and the body of the dragon turned out like a flat worm. In order to make the body more 'shapable' and rounded I wrapped it up on ducktape (or any other tape) and than proceed to hotglue the scales. -Everything turns out better after the painting, trust me... But it does not need to be as 'crafty' as the bard showed. I suck at painting but I had a can of metallic spray paint, and just that was enough for my sattisfaction -A sharp blade is really useful for those complex shapes. Go get some
Damn, your crafts just seems to get better and better mate! Thanks for sharing with us! Even though my hand craft skills sucks, I love to watch your videos haha
Oh man, I’ve rcently expirenced the powers of toilet paper as a sculpting material x.x Mix it with some PVA glue and you have the best, most versatile crafting material known to man!
I just painted the background purple, then a blue eye shaped blob followed by a thin white line with some thin streaks coming out. Also something in the camera makes it look more glowing. Anything that is too dark is almost black according to the camera, so they eye stands out.
Do you know a similar product of those "Strong tone wash"? I'm not finding anything similar here on Brazil. Is there any "simple" replacement for it? Probably I'll need to buy it from internet.

You are so cavalier with colors, and it is so awesome.
Thanks! If it weren't for the good color choices, this would certainly be a peasant paint-job :D

"Trust the toilet paper" he says. Wiser words were never spoken.
This is not only my favorite creature build, but it is also my favorite crafting video!

I love gold dragons and I find it fantastic that you just made this dragon entirely from scratch parts! Nice job
Парень , это восхитительно. )
Я просто в восторге - куча эстетического удовольствия.
I really love how it looks! The armoured look works really well for metallic dragons! Awesome as always!
Awesome work! Please keep working with low budged materiels, it inspires people like me with low to no budged. Impressive.
the purple looks great! i never would've thought of that
You are incredible man!

That oat maker should just print the cut patterns on the inside of the boxes to save some effort
Before you made the head I was liking how it looked like the dragon had a hood. Love your channel and hope to see more.

People in March 2020 watching this:
Bards Craft: “Toilet paper for filler”
Viewers: “No!”
Love your videos!
This reminds me of the mechanical dragons in The Book of Lost Tales by JRR Tolkien (early draft of what later became The Silmarillion.
Very entertaining 👍 I’ve got to build one! Thanks for the templates👏👏👏
Me encanta! El dragón es genial y el video muy divertido 🙂
You do such a great job. Seriously. I think I'll use this template and tweak it to make a Naga miniature!
Can you make some kind of golem? It would be pretty cool if you could make it.
Oh man, I’ve rcently expirenced the powers of toilet paper as a sculpting material x.x Mix it with some PVA glue and you have the best, most versatile crafting material known to man!

Hello Bard, when you're using organic materials as wood or bones do they 'degrade' after time or do they keep their cleanliness, shape and form?
Hey if you bleach and then heat treat it will hold it shape for quite along time bones anyway
smash the like button like Bard smashes oats
Can anyone tell me what the music is at 12:27?
👍
Snyyyygt 🤩👌
I was most impressed with the eye! How did you paint it? It looks so bright, it almost looks like there is an L.E.D. in there.
I just painted the background purple, then a blue eye shaped blob followed by a thin white line with some thin streaks coming out.
Also something in the camera makes it look more glowing. Anything that is too dark is almost black according to the camera, so they eye stands out.

Why do you don't use scissors for the cardboard?
How long does the herb-based flock last? Namely before it begins discolouring.
I cannot tell yet. I believe it should last for years. As long as it's kept dry
Made my first bard dragon today. Got like .13 cents invested in it
Fantastic :)
항상 잘보고 갑니다
Sooocool.
Fatastic Perfect!
What does Durpee mean ? I thought this was a really good project.
Mitä jos vaan julkaisisit sen videon, etkä pistä tota premier-juttua? Ärsyttää vitusti, joten jätän katsomatta tän videon...
Question for everyone, what is a good cardstock source for something like this?
oats ruclips.net/video/MiHIOejRX9M/видео.html
Where are you from??
