Hello! I stumbled upon your channel recently, and I like your mini-work. As a Scenic Designer, who works often in scale models of sets, one tip I can give you involves making fire "glow." Use an LED, as you do. But, glue a bit of wrinkled, thin, white plastic shopping bag, or oats bag, loosely over the light. Paint it with yellow, orange and red, and black blotchy streaks, a bit. Let the white still show through here and there. Lay your "coals and firesticks" on top, and treat them as you like. Turn the light on. There's a glowing fire in there! I have even done this trick life-sized on-stage, and in large dioramas. It always looks good. The white plastic peeking through the colors, and the coal bits gives that "white-hot, ashy coal" look of a good, hot fire. Try it!
Not sure how many dragons and Phoenix type birds you can make but I like watching each vid you come up with making them. I made a dragon I was going to put above a hot wheels track I was building for my grandson. He loves it will fly it around the room and is very careful with it. Think I'll build another maybe with his claws spaced so he can hold a hot wheel car in them.
Great ideas here. Using pva glue to make details to highlight, I never seen that being done before. Definately will try to do it myself. Also flowers front wood shavings, another good idea.
Suggestion: soak the cardboard components a little before bending to shape. This will make them more pliable and easier to form. The downside is they must be dried out prior to gluing or painting.
What a beauty! Dead trees around a poison cone-breathing dragon make a lot of sense to me and the beast itself is a majestic wyrm! Thank you for posting this. Your clips are always a gift.
I was scared when I saw the red being added with the green XD I have fallen in the Christmas trap before. Luckily it didn't come through and it looks fantastic!
Excellent build as always. For tree flocking what I have seen that looks good is you could string out cotton balls for a base then you can stick whatever you like onto them. The cotton ball strung out holds whatever you like like a net and the trees look like they're in full bloom.
Awesome dragon and great diorama. Its a very easy way to get your hands on some cool minis. Furthermore I really enjoy your ideas using simple and sustainable materials most of the time! Keep going!
I love the look of nature scenery in your terrain. It has the look of an old, dying forest that holds the remains of some ancient civilization. Very reminiscent of the scenes in Return Of The King when Frodo and Sam were journeying towards Mordor. It also fits the look I have envisioned for my current D&D campaign. And, that dragon mini is very impressive! Wow!
That was amazing , better than some of the expensive minis in my hobby shop. Thank you for the information and inspiration, we are lucky to have you to guide us
I always enjoy how you can make every sort of terrain, or buildings, or creatures out of cheap materials like this dragon! And it really looks amazing! So simple and effective. I even took inspiration from your works and suggestions, and started simply by painting minis and some bits of terrain. I'm working on a themed dice tower now, and I would like to have your opinion!
This is awesome. I'd really like to see your take on a Shadow Dragon and a Shadowfell diorama to go with it, now that you've got all kinds of sophisticated techniques.
Awesome job, bro! You made a very beautiful dragon. I would just not add trees to make it a mountainous area. This diorama reminded me of a scene from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Love that! How long start to finish? And the details like the flowers wow.. the style would fit the rime of the frost madien dwarf made chardalyn dragon
I literally love your channel Lucas, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the videos, you inspired me to start building my own dioramas

'Here is a dwarf for scale.'
This is a reference standard that needs to be employed on the TV news.
I love watching you make custom minis with simple materials. The end result is always so, so impressive!
Thank you

Hack and slash artistry! You keep it loose and have great results!
this would made a beautifull steel dragon!
I've always adored your custom dragons. They have so much personality and presence compared to a plastic model
Protein scoops make very useful cups for crafting. I like that you use yours too 😉

Really the beautifulest you ever craft

At first glance you'd think the dragon is wearing armor. You have a lot of talent👍🔥
Your cardstock builds are my favourite - classic Bardscraft! I’m off to eat a mountain of öats so I can make one too.
Good luck with the öats bröther
Восхитительно. )
Как косплеер и крафтер , я восхищен твоими драконами. Техникой их создания.
Хочу попробовать с братом и сестрой сделать так же.

I don’t know why he'd have to do that extra step. They look good the way he does it.
Awesome! I'd like to see some sort of a scratch made vaguely humanoid demon next! A Balrog perhaps?
Very nice, a Christmas Dragon!
What a beauty! Dead trees around a poison cone-breathing dragon make a lot of sense to me and the beast itself is a majestic wyrm! Thank you for posting this. Your clips are always a gift.
Dead trees makes sense 👍
Zero dislikes, just how i like it
The texture on the wings made from glue looks really good
You wouldn’t know that started life as a cereal box. Brilliant work xx
I was scared when I saw the red being added with the green XD I have fallen in the Christmas trap before. Luckily it didn't come through and it looks fantastic!
I'll change the video title to "Jolly Christmas Dragon" when the season cometh. Stonks
I ❤️ the dragon! The wings are fantastic!
Thanks, glad you like it!
Could you ever try to make flowers or some other flora out of pencil peelings ?
You have a very soothing voice. Great video!
Very nice wing texture, sir.
Wonderful! I would never have thought of doing this!
It's beautiful. It inspires me. I am happy now

Another inspirational build from you simple but very effective thank you
That was amazing , better than some of the expensive minis in my hobby shop. Thank you for the information and inspiration, we are lucky to have you to guide us
I may have to give this method a try. I like the natural element that you added. Looks great.
Bark often falls off trees, and you can then pick it up off the ground without risking hurting the tree or bothering anyone. That's how I get my bark.
well you definitly have interesting aproach to making figurines and terain. :D
Keep up good job man :)
Great build! I love seeing more mini building too! Your cardboard dragon looks very nice.
These looks great . Nice work and good inspiration . Got some ideas to pick up and use for my pojects !
Amazing dragon!!!
I want you to remake the titan now that your skills have evolved. It is my favorite custom mini.

I'll keep that idea in mind. Shadow dragon would be cool to make
