@@MrPug-dt4sd for goodness sake. why do we need to argue about this. i made a joke. i don't care if you have a PhD in hotwire foam cutter prices. can't you just laugh and then move on? sure, most hotwires don't cost 500$. i was using a hyperbole. can't you see that?
This video deserves so much more attention than it seems to have gotten. Much like your last diorama this is a beautiful piece of artwork, and the resin sludge is a fantastic highlight. Keep up the good work man :)
This came out amazingly good. The uneven road looks like it has been settling for years; the thick resin "creative application" is perfect. I also like your philosophy. I'm not just a gamer and a blacksmith; I'm also a mental health counselor. Keep being epic!
I just started this hobby and I am sitting here astounded to see what you accomplished with just a knife... very cool and it reminds me that I don't need a million tools to make pieces and dioramas. Thank you!
My day is much more epic with a bardscraft video. Such corruption. Love the fetid water. And, birch seeds for leaves - brilliant! Would love a studio tour - the outdoors looks beautiful! Great to have you back in production Brother Öat!
1st - Your Art of building these Dioramas is Awesome!!! 2nd The Art of Ultimate Self-realisation sounds also Great!!! Well no need to say how challenging it can be when the circumstances almost against your trial but it bolsters to hear such epic word.
I've been watching for quite a while and it's amazing to see how you progressed, you were a good and gifted crafter when I first found this channel, but now I would describe you as excellent!
Friend of mine managed to make reaaaaally cool craters and stuff by heating the foam with a hot air gun! Looked effortless, it didn't melt (as much) and gave him really nice control! :) Glad to see you're back, and what an awesome video to return with! Keep it up boss!
Yay! Bards craft is back!! Also thanks for that Bardic Inspiration in the middle there, really makes me want to focus on my dream of being a game developer
It's good to see you back again with a legendary diorama :) If you had an airbrush, you could add pva on top of the resin and blow it to make more realistic water waves.
A suggestion, I think when placing a brick road like that you could possibly make a texture paste to give the effect of them being put into the ground, as well as it will help fill cracks
WOO, That was DEEP! No not the resin! "lol" Those were very VERY good words. I will take Such advise, and repeat it over and over, being as its GREAT advise!! And Life is not forgiving.... And some times, one gets stuck in life, and sometimes can not find the answers, when they may even be right in front of them! " ME"... Thanks Man!! Love Your Videos, I also subbed your friend.. His Channel will sure GROW, hes GOOD! be safe!!!
HI, for the stone bicks, slabs and such, I have seen other crafters use "tin can and stones" technique. Basicaly: 1) cut the foam pieces 2) put them in some (plastic or metal) container/can with lid 3) add some "little bit sharper" stones 4) close and shake rigorously 5) ???? 6) profit
LOVIN THIS, and will continue so... Still can't understand how you're able to create such amazing works! Hope you're quaint and well. Keep it up, hope you're having a have a good one during these times.
you can try small steel brush (for rust) and brushing foam to get more interesting textures. wood , for example. Also try to find Kombipor - combi panels for thermal insulation
Glad your back! I was wondering what happened to you. I bet it must be fun to see what next you have brought to the game. I would enjoy, I think watching from the sideline, as you control the game. What an imagination!
My four year old daughter and I watched this last night, she really enjoyed it. She wanted to know how long this project took you from beginning to end.
The butcher knife makes it fun and seem accessable, then you you start making compound miter cuts with it and I'm like "Bullsh!t! I'll cut myself to ribbons." I'll stay with my tiny knife and Emory board.
Support Bard's Craft by buying mildly overpriced terrain! tinyurl.com/y6x94haq
@bards craft ,can't go a month without posting mN lol need my fix!! Lmao
LOL mildly overpriced.
Hey if you want a challenge try making Dol Guldor for The Hobbit
The fact you're living in such beautiful place, immersed in nature, surely help your imagination and craft
other crafters: use a 500$ hotwire to cut foam
luke: FIRE AND KITCHEN KNIFE
Hot wire cutters are nowhere near 500$ and his name is lukas.
i know thats only one example but still
@@dinobuckwell2999Thats literally a desk I got a Proxxon for 110$. And the hotwire foam factory cutter is 50$.

grug has fire
Small suggestion for upcomming builds: Dried grape stems make neat little trees. it works really nicely :)
Brilliant!
Dang! Great idea, gonna try that. Thank you 🙂
Dude! Mind blown!
The man, the myth, the legend...
He is back!

I did a autumn forest scatter terrain, with a rickety old cabin to go with it. And thanks to you I got exactly what I wanted!
I enjoyed the cinematic bit at the end a lot! Very cool

"Brush flapping" is my new favourite terrain crafting term.
That motivation @14:14 was awesome man!
"the smoke and gases are toxic" burns it without a resperator anyway
And ravens cry on the third minute of the video tell: "Nevermore!"
Love the pep talk. The diorama is great too.
Thanks 🙂

Lift weights, eat öates and build terrain. You can do it 👍😂
Thanks Bard for the recommendation, I went and binge watched his whole channel, now I'm back to finish this vid :)
I thought this channel was no more. So glad to see the creativity flying again.
The organic approach you take towards crafting is both informative and relaxing. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
I've been watching for quite a while and it's amazing to see how you progressed, you were a good and gifted crafter when I first found this channel, but now I would describe you as excellent!
The story at the end was perfect. Combining from your last build was epic. Love it! Also glad you are back.
14:00 Bard's Craft turned into an emotionally supportive version of the darkest dungeon narrator.
So viking. Crafting with an axe and fire.
Sounds like a cool idea for a RUclips channel name 😉
You deserve more subscribers. You are easily the best crafter on RUclips, you absolute funny accented uber Chad
Lol thanks
I really like that you went outside with this - it's lovely to see how you harvest your supplies from the environment.

The boss is back!
More monster creations would be awesome!
Try a soldering iron to melt the foam.
Looking forward to a future video walk through of your new workshop!

Good luck man!
man I love the Law section at the end. So cool.
*lore. Also agreed, that was great!
amazing video, loved the poisoned river and phsycological speech, i’m glad to see you back! every video of yours is extremely inspiring, thank you.

I’m really digging that green water, like Skaven threw some warp stone slag in it.
Every single video is better than the last...and they're all AWESOME. Epic scenery!!! I vote this should be used for a skaven adventure
Another great video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and techniques. Lots of inspiration for the crafting community.
Love the stonework Lucas! Keep it up!
A suggestion, I think when placing a brick road like that you could possibly make a texture paste to give the effect of them being put into the ground, as well as it will help fill cracks
SupimMio Using Gorilla Glue works for this, too - it foams up into the cracks.
This guy is a treasure. Thank you for all videos
Hello! This looks sooo good! Glad your back!
When you showed the axe I thought you were going to use it to carve the foam!

Amazing job as always, next time for waves and water foam you can use gloss acrylic medium gel
Very interesting use of fire to shape the stream. And I love your carving knife, finish working the diorama and you can have at a nice rare steak :)

Love the videos! I’ve had to stop crafting since I moved back to college but your videos keep my crafting urge satisfied
I love this build. Another great video Bard's Craft. You continue to inspire me.
Came for the terrain, stayed for the philosophy!
Top notch, mate. I'm going to start using hardboard as a basing material, too. Love the resin pour. Cheers, --Bo

Amazing!
So glad to see your return. Congratulations on your workshop and what a wonderful video, truly brilliant diorama and perfect advice.

Skyr is the ultimate epoxy container
So glad to see you posting videos again, really missed your content and inspiration
Best introduction to in video advertisement ever.
Always love the narrations for your builds. Epic job as always.
I have used this same foam to carve a decorative stone tile wall. Very good material.
some of the best terrain work on youtube

Awesome work. Glad to see you are back!
That turned out really well, Lukas. Great job.
for future reference, you can use acetone to carve out a stream instead of fire, you do have to be more careful about how you apply it though
Very nice! Good to see you back!
Welcome back!! Good to see a new video from you.
Your skills are getting even stronger! Great build!
Good to see you’re back!
Super Excited you're Back missed you !
Dude, your home is beautiful.
This is just beautiful.
Merci a toi car j ai progréssé dans mes creation grace a toi, respect.
Your “sound effects” are epic. You should record and sell them!
Just a suggestion about oil washes, I really prefer linseed oil rather than spirits, idk, more consistency, less hodor
But also greatly extend dry times! But yeah it makes it flow much more controlled.
What an awesome quote. Thank you.
Magnifique!!! wouha!!
You are my inspiration for dnd terrain😄
you are truly inspiring. I just got back into art and looking forward to trying new things
it's beautiful results, thanks for sharing buddy
I remember your first videos, man this is sooooo epic!! You’re an inspiration to all nerds! :)
"Outdoors to die less"
Love the flocking color! Hope you can get a static applicator one day!
Great tips and great to see you are back! Also, I like the hair! You look like your ready for your next great adventure!
Keep up the great work!
I love your words of wisdom sooo true.
ah hey dude - nice to see you back again ;)
Love to see you have a new video 😁
My four year old daughter and I watched this last night, she really enjoyed it. She wanted to know how long this project took you from beginning to end.
I estimate 30 work hours
Missed the content! Another epic build!
Such a great job! Everything here is fantastic!
you should make like a bug or bone temple or something like that. it would be a pretty cool dioramma
ya its the best to do outside all thoose small parts can vanish, don't need to clean so extreem
I appreciate the budget description for I am indeed on peasant wages but want to make a good autumn board for fallout
Just filled me with ideas again, great job!

Very good work! As always! Greetings from Frankonia! A.
Thank you for the video. It was, as always, epic.
Love your videos! Thanks. 👍
