@@chrisgodoy8084 I think his point is that DT was such a phenomenal player/prescence that he loved watching him even tho DT played for a division rival.
I’ve been a Broncos fan since the 1980’s, when John Elway was the quarterback and been a fan since. I remember Demaryius Thomas so well along with many other Broncos greats. R.I.P. DT.
His loss hit home for many of us here in the Mile High, much like Darrent Williams on New Years Eve, a shock to us all... I'm forever grateful to have seen him play in 2013 for a handful of games, was there for 509 and watched the crowd erupt much like the Pittsburgh game.
Ive been a fan since 83, Elways rookie season. funny thing is that my very first (and only time) i got to see teh broncos play at home (my first time seeing the broncos play was in old texas stadium vs the Cowboys. thanksgiving 2001) was against Peyton and the colts in 2002. was soo pissed because we could have won that game. we had them down by 3 with a 1:30 left in the game. the broncos throw it 3 times and had 3 incomplete passes instead of running the ball to waste time. that gave peyton enough time to get in range for Vanderjact to kick his career long of 53 yrds to tie the game. Colts won the toss (and it was still old OT rules where first score wins) and peyton drives them down so Vanderjact could kick another career best of 54 yrds to win it. When the broncos got Peyton, i said I would not forgive him for ruining my first game at mile high unless he won us a superbowl. thanks to DT. Peyton did just that on his very last game he played.
Man... my heart will ache for DT forever. He was so explosive and so good. I am so sad that he is gone. 😢 May he finally rest in peace. Thank you DT! Forever a Bronco. 💙🧡

RIP Thomas. I watched him play against San Diego the year he and Manning went to the Super Bowl and won it all. Great Team, Great Man. He will be missed.
Great video man I remember being 8 seeing him play this season I knew that once he got the right quarterback he’d do the rest and the rest is history I’ll never forget that legendary day and I’ll never forget about the legendary Demaryius Thomas
Same. Few years ago I would always watch his highlights right here on youtube. The man who really got me involved into my love for football and my love for the Broncos. Depression
I'm a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. My stepdad took me to this game for my 10th birthday as an early birthday present. This game will stay with me for the rest of my life. Fast forward almost a decade and now both the Broncos and Steelers are my teams. DT was legendary, and everyone will miss him dearly.
I'm a life long Bronco Fan after watching this I am reminded how much I loved that year, that game is still the best Bronco game I have watched, it is over my second favorite game Broncos defeating Green Bay in the super bowl. Cheering for Dawkins Bailey Tebow and Thomas was like cheering for my kids it was special, win or lose I LOVED that team. I rather be invested emotionally in a team with Thomas and Tebow than the 2015 Broncos. Manning was great player but it was comparable cheering for a mechanical device instead of inspired human beings, Tebow and Thomas were the type who made you feel good made me proud to be a fan, they were that GOOD!
I've been a broncos fan for as long as I can remember but Demaryius took that's love of the team to another level he was great on and off the field. R.I.P you will always be remembered
I was in high school and i just remember talking crap to my ROTC instructor, who i had a close relationship with, about our Broncos win. He was from Pittsburgh
The first Wide receiver I ever liked his number the attitude the great player he was I remember always throwing it to him in madden 11 and being so happy when manning came and seeing how much more of a outstanding player he became rip dt 💙🧡

R.I.P. DT, loved that guy. One of my all time favorite video clips was the highlights for this game and Big Ben on the sidelines just talking to himself "Who is 88? what is 88? Is that a tight end? a receiver? He's too big to be a receiver?"
Loved your video! I've been a Broncos fan since I was very young. DT was definitely a favorite player of mine, I always made sure to wear my #88 orange jersey every chance I could.
D.T. I will never forget you! You were not only amazing on the field you gave back to your community and you never met a kid you did not like and you made them feel good and comfortable like you were there just for them. I feel old. I was 12 when I was listening to this game on the radio and heard the overtime TD. I lost my mind when it happened! I somehow knew that was the play you were talking about before I clicked the video
I'm practically the same age as thus guy lol bc this game was a core memory for me in football as well. It defined my elementary recess games and play style
The next season on opening night it was a rematch, and Denver had another big name QB starting that year... When DT caught that screen pass and ran it 50 plus yards for a TD, you could see the excitement in his eyes when he realized he just caught a touchdown from PFM!
He was an amazing for the broncos for sure he needs to in the hall of fame not only just for the on field stuff 🏈 but off the field he was kind hearted ❤️😢
I remember the year Peyton went to Denver, I just knew Thomas was gonna be a beast with him and took him over AB in fantasy and he was unbelievable that year, he also became a legend for ravens fans that Steelers game cuz he took out our rivals
When I played fantasy football I always used DT in the flex and he more often than not came up clutch. Man was a clutch player and it’s sad that he was taken so young. Especially as someone who also has seizures I know it can happen at any second if not treated properly
It was a great day that day I was jumping and screaming when he caught the ball for the ot TD also I thought teebow did enough by winning that game to be Denver's QB for years I think he could of taken this club to a superbowl
It only flashed by for a second or two, but the Broncos season record to that point was 8 & 8. How fitting that #88 should have a career game and break that tie. RIP DT.
Without Demaryius & Decker, Tebow would’ve never been able to do take Denver to the playoffs or win a playoff game. I still remember the Bears game when Barber fumbled, setting Prater up for a 60+ yard game winning field goal that 2011 season
Ngl the Steelers defense was one of the greatest defensive teams ever but it was more known for its powerhouse line and linebackers… but still that 2ndary was also crazy good rip
