RIP Deymarius Thomas. He was a great football player, one who touched several lives off the field. His kindness towards everyone that he met will be remembered by both those who knew him and loved him.
RIP DT, i am 22 yrs right now, Broncos fan from Germany. You were among the first players that i remembered having such an great impact on everyone around you back in the days i started watching football. I think the Broncos should retire the No. 88
I was in 7th grade watching Super Bowl 50. I’m a broncos fan from Missouri so to watch my team compete in the Super Bowl was absolutely amazing. But I remembered as a young fan everyone looked up to Peyton Manning, Von Miller, or all the players in that 2015 Denver secondary when they thought of the Denver broncos. Not me though it was always you I remember asking my mom for a broncos jersey for my birthday and it was going to be my first one. I asked for 88 with no hesitation at all. Now years later I still have that jersey and it still sticks out to me more than all the others. DT to me represents what football is about and I carried it with me through high school ball and now plan on getting one for my own son. When you died it hit me hard it was my 19th birthday (December 9th) and I remember not even wanting to celebrate but then I thought to put the jersey on so somehow a part of you would still be there. I plan on wearing your jersey on every single one of my birthdays from now on to remind me of the person that I could hopefully be someday cause as a kid I wanted to be just like 88.
You know you've led an exemplary life when you pass away THE WORLD comes out for you and is truly saddened, you're gone... and all remember you as a shining example of a human being both on and off the field. RIP DT 88 💔💔💔
His impact on the game is beyond measure. Not only is he responsible for making “Tebow Time” a thing for that TD against the Steelers but he was the #1 WR on the greatest offense of all time for that 2013 team. RIP DT
I’ve actually met him 3 times. 13 years ago, I was only 2, it was in Lakewood Colorado at a lucky strike, and he held me and my mom got a picture though I was too young to remember . 2nd time, he was at an Xfinity store, we weren’t allowed to take pictures, only autographs, but he let them get a picture with me, that one I have vivid memories of. 3rd time was at a football event, this one I remember, he was awesome! Got a picture. So when people say things like “you remember him for his athletic skills, you haven’t met him to see him off the field” well I have met him in real life, and he was great! R.I.P 88
Dammit DT, what happened , man ? :'( Your time wasn't supposed to be now, you had a whole life ahead of you. I only got to see him on my TV screen on Sundays, but from what everyone in the league is saying, he was a excellent role model as both a player and a person. Thank you for the memories DT, the football community and the fans love you. Rest easy
RIP DT, I remember that legendary pass from Tebow, always been a Broncos fan and he made me fall in love with football again! Always repped them and this hit home for me ! RIP King! #Broncos #DT
Watching this was the first time I have teared up in multiple years. That’s shows how much he was an impact as a Broncos fan. Fly high DT, you won’t be forgotten!
1 year younger than me made such an impact in this world despite if your a broncos he's a legend prayers go out to his family and friends and former teammates 🙏
Thank you tps for making this video. I'm heartbroken over the news of DT. He was an amazing, kind and talented human being. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family members and the Broncos organization. 😪💔
Been to Denver 3x. Spent time out there with some amazing people and die hard Bronco fans. This is absolutely heartbreaking, one of the all time great Broncos players. RIP DT from FL
whats sad is that anything can happen in seconds you never know when something is going to happen make the most out of friends and family and spend the most amount of time with them RIP DT
I remember my first years of watching football, when Peyton was a Bronco. I remember him being an integral part of their success. My prayers up to one of the best players and people in NFL history! #DenverBroncos #RIPDT
This is so crazy I watched him play a lot with the broncos and when he was playing with Peyton Manning him and Peyton were two of the best quarterback wide receiver duos in the league it was crazy how good they were its so damn sad that he's gone not even 5 months removed from retiring from the NFL in June so sad rip DT condolences up to you and your family 😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
As a Colts fan who watched the watched Manning play for the Broncos as well. I can say without a doubt DT was a special player. I used to love rooting for the Broncos as long as they weren't playing the Colts. R.I.P DT
Never got a chance to ever go to NFL game but I’ve heard so many things about how Demaryius Thomas was off the field now kind and passionate he was and the compassion he had and I was truly saddened when I heard about his passing and he’s only a couple years older than me so that made me feel like that could have been me and it’s tragic when someone so young dies unexpectedly like that so all I want to do is send every prayer towards his family and his friends and everyone that got to meet him and I hope everyone across the nation that I have heard of him will pray
Dawg I was in 5th grade when he was drafted. Pretty much grew up watching him. Him and Champ Bailey were my top favorite athletes of ALL time. RIP man I still can’t believe it
Even tho I wasn’t a Denver broncos fan Thomas was my favorite football player growing up gone to soon but never forgotten my prayers and condolences goes to he’s family friends ex teammates ❤️❤️
People like this deserve better from this life. He was more than an athlete. He was leader and a role model. When he was just a child his home was raided by police and his mother and grandmother were arrested for the distribution of crack. He later met with Barrack Obama and was able to get their sentences commuted. The fact that he never let that hold him back is so inspirational. One of my favorite people of all time. Him and his contagious smile and good spirit will be missed 🙏🏻
I remember growing up there was a commercial that use to have manning throwing to DT for a TD and announcer used to yell ”TouchDown DeMaryius!!” And I used to catch passes and yell that out loud!! He was a great player!!!! Hall of Famer!! Rip!
DT is and will be one of my top player to watch on the grass. This hit me hard! I drafted him every year for fantasy because I love him so much as a player. So sad! My condolences to his families and friends and fans out there.
To leave this earth and so many people remember you in this way, wow....what more could you want. Rest in peace Mr. Thomas. On to bigger and better things!
Hearing how Demaryius Thomas passed away from seizures my sister has seizure problem so it really hit home for me empathize in my sympathy and my empathy goes towards his family and friends
Very well done video that helps capture the impact he had on and off of the field as a truly humble, always spreading positivity, and amazing human being. You are a genuine true inspiration to all my brother. Rest easy DT. The world shines a little less bright without you man.💔 #RIPDT88
Heaven needed a true hero to Coach its Youth to victory. A truly outstanding man with a heart of gold. Deepest condolences to his family, friends, and teammates.
Demaryius Thomas was my inspiration to start playing football back in middle school. I literally broke down crying when I found out he had died. Still in shock almost a whole day later. Rest in peace, DT. You will be missed. 😭💔
The one thing about DT that we're hearing from those who played with him and knew him is nobody has anything bad to say about him. Not only his accomplishments on the football field, but as a person he was truly loved. And that tells me that he lived life, and cared about people. I choose not to mourn DT's death, rather to celebrate his life. RIP DT
As a broncos fan through thick and thin, this one hurts. Not to compare but this hurts just as much as Mr. Bowlens passing. Much love to DT. My thoughts and condolences are with his family at this time. RIP DT 88!!!
I love you DT#88 rest in peace♥️ never be forgotten with me your a legend to many many many a inspiration and great man who was respectful and talented to the max nobody compared anymore

I’m still shocked about his death. My heart goes out to his family and the Broncos. 🥺😢💔💔
His heart went out because of recent damage done to it by an experimental medical procedure, IMO.

Tom & Payton's words did it 4 me....😥 Rest in Heavenly Power
He died far too young. Thoughts and prayers for his family and Broncos County.
Just like Derrick Thomas with the chiefs. In 2000 when he died in a car accident he was just 33 years old.
