  • Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has passed away at age 33. Thomas, a former pro bowler, was best known for his time with the Broncos, including his electrifying overtime catch and run against the Pittsburgh Steelers that ultimately led a Super Bowl win in 2015 alongside Peyton Manning. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe remember the life and legacy of Thomas.

I lost my uncle Thanksgiving afternoon and my recurring memory was a call he made that I ignored because I was going to touch base on the holiday. Now he's gone. One of my absolute favorite players and human beings. Thank you Skip and Shannon for this. What Shannon said really hit home. He had two months to reach out. He never could have known this but I really relate. My great grandma has several grandchildren and great grandchildren and out of all of those, she made me feel special. I knew for a while she wasn’t in the greatest of health. She was 96 years old, but I kept pushing it off to go and see her or talk to her. She called everyone by their names but I was her “movie star.” Now she’s gone. I just hope she knows what she meant to me, as I’m sure DT knew how much you cared Shannon. Rest In Peace DT. 🧡💙

Well technically he did die because of a car crash which caused a plethora of medical issues such as seizures which has been effecting him for the past year. It honestly doesn’t matter though. An accident is an accident it happens no one is perfect. Even if he did die in an unexpected way it’s the same thing a young accomplished great man lost his life.

the reason for someone's untimely death should not factor into reserving a sentiment of regret and sadness perhaps someone shouldn't do drugs or whatever else but I don't timely death as an untimely death I don't get this comment about it's a good thing it was due to a medical issue something honorable. Is just as justifiable to grieve the loss of a life due to drugs or crime.

Some say DT isn’t HOF member? Consider this:
Calvin Johnson had 731 career catches, 11,619 yards receiving, and 83 TD catches in nine years.
He was inducted this year into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Who’s next in career catches? DT, at 724 along with about 9900 yards receiving and 63 TD catches.
Seems like he should be in posthumously.
