  • In this video I'm introducing Konrad to clicker training and the training environment. He has a short attention span because he is young and inexperienced so I mix up the session to keep him interested, otherwise he would fly off. He is learning to station on the post, to be touched all over, to accept restraint, to target with his beak and to refrain from chewing on me. Only a couple of weeks ago an approaching hand would be greeted with a cheerful KAW and beak-chewing on fingers....acceptable for jackdaws but not for people! The skills I'm teaching him here will improve his routine care for day to day activities and his health. I'll try to post again soon with our progress.
