Ive been seeing a lot of hate on these units on various lawn care groups on facebook. I did not make it to the expo but I knew exmark did their research on stand on units. Every bit of weight is spread over the rear wheels, other than the deck, which will be weight but its at the lowest point of the mower. ferris and wright better watch out for this one.
Interesting concept with hydros running off of top of engine, however it looks like you would have to take everything apart to even be able to take the engine shroud off. It looks tight in there.
I don’t think they should totally discontinue Vantage series. I like the idea of placing hydros higher up on the unit but they are close proximity to engine in closed space. Not so open for cross ventilation other than back out the front. Unless I’m missing something. Nice video Jason
I've run the vantage, lazer z's and turf tracers. After trying a grandstand I sold all 4 of my exmarks and bought 3 toro grandstands. I can tell you from experience the last thing you want is a hydraulic leak that then gets all over the top of the mower and then all over the motor and then on the deck and belts etc. This design also is bringing more weight higher up on the mower and weight should be focused lower on the machine. Also why would I want to fill up two separate 5 gallon tanks rather than one 10 gallon tank. Exmark is going to have to really have this at a low price point to compete with the wright stander, toro grandstand multiforce and the v ride 2.0. This mower seems like a concept mower, not one that should be in production. Just my opinion though. Also only 25 hp on a 60" mower...common guys really? My 26.5 hp kohler on my 52" toro grandstand multiforce bogs down in tough conditions and I wish I had more power. Now you guys are talking about a bigger deck with even less power? Common exmark step your game up!!
I'd love to demo the 32" staris for the season. I personally like the design and what they did with it. I haven't messed with many commercial mowers but come from a previous heavy machine mechanic background so I wouldn't mind scoping them out. I know a season demo won't happen, most manufacturers want to give an hour at max. Not nearly long enough to know if something is worth as big of an investment as they are so I'll likely stick to push mowing the city yards and use my 42" rider for the bigger acreage properties. Thanks for the content.
The Ferris mowers are starting to catch my eye. I tried the exmark standers and was not Impressed. But... you never know until someone runs one for a season.
I was very excited to see that mower in person, unfortunately I was very disappointed in the way you had to lean forward against the pad the whole time you were operating the mower . I was fatigued after trying it.

The best lawn care man on RUclips by far.

I got to drive one at GIE,,,I liked it. It was good to meet you and your wife at the Jobber booth.
Is the digital odometer recording hours or miles?

Really great video Jason. Nice to hear the specs on it! What an awesome giveaway! We are very excited for the conference. See you then!
Thank you. Looking forward to spending some time with you in a few weeks
You're very welcome! As are we.
I feel like this mower is a step backwards for standers.

I sold all my exmarks and got scag.
I have 6 units and they run great. I run 4 full time now they do have some issues but they all do so wtf let’s get this money
Good review Jason thank you
Thanks for posting.. Good info. I was wondering if you had a chance to ask Jonathan about the newly added 44" Exmark Radius zero turn mower?
Where's the cupholder, and where do I sit?
A little off the subject, do you know if they hold these kind of seminars in Illinois? I live in Central Illinois.
looking at a staris or vride 2 for my compact set up. hopefully ill be able to demo a staris and order it before 2019
Don't! Do some research on Wright grandstand mowers. They are amazing machines, and have the best customer service in the industry imho.
Scag,Ferris >exmark all day long exmark to a huge step backwards in terms of standing mowers with this over though out design

Is it because Toro owns Exmark
How do you lift the stand on platform
Wow really. How about you reach down with your hand and lift it up......... wow now that was impressive. Smh
Lol if it was that easy I wouldn’t be asking the question sir. Before you jump behind this keyboard please know what you are talking about.
When its all said and done why do the Exmark lawn mowers look very very super similar 2 Toros lawn mowers now why is that
This is a bad joke, I wished it was April, the whole design is not practical, looks like fun to top off with oil
How primitive, visit your nearest Wright dealer, you won’t be disappointed
Nope, that isn't the Wright mower! ;)
The way it makes you lean forward is very uncomfortable
Looks like junk
