      Best stand on too dominate 36" or smaller gate backyards.....
      Just that niche alone is worth 2 of these in a small set up.

    Hey Julio! Glad you were able to make a video of it! I myself am not interested in a 32" for my area but I still wanted to see what it's all about! Not sure how I feel about the engine being tucked back in there like that. Could get really hot. Especially in the south. I definitely feel that there are some improvements that could be made already haha! Especially for $8k! But glad I could check it out over the footage! 😎🤘

      Wyatt's lawn service I actually talked to my dealer about it today! He told me with the engine being so low, if it’s sitting on the lawn running, it can scorch the grass! Not to mention all the other problems with both the E and S - Series. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a great mower. My dealer is a big Exmark fan/seller, so it’s not like he’s trying to promote another brand.

    Looks like a great mower. Height adjustment with pins is simple but will last allot longer like this. Simplicity is the key. Down here in Houston this would be perfect for smaller gates. Would like to see a comparison video against the 32 wright. Great video

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 лет назад

      I get people liking the single height adjustment lever, but as you said this is simple and nothing much to go wrong. I don’t think it’s a big deal and saves on weight and cost, but I’m use to using the four pins with my turf tracer and the Walker I had in the past. Yeah for dense city lots this mower will be great. Thanks for watching. 👍

      The Wright 32 is a fixed deck unfortunately... Not happy with that. May have to check the exmark out instead as my area is full of small gates. Pass up way to many yards.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 лет назад +2

      KL Lawn Care yeah I think this will be great for small yards. A adjustable deck is a must. I have always had my eye on the small 32” type mowers as all my properties are small. In all my research, the biggest complaint I would always see in the comments about the Wright 32 was that it was a fixed deck. Thanks for watching.

    How is it driving up a trailer ramp without being able to raise deck? Like if you mowed a lawn at 2.5 would you be able to drive up the ramp or would it scrape?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  2 года назад

      It totally depends on the trailer deck height and how long the ramps are. On my trailer 2.5” was fine to mow and load onto the trailer but every trailer will be different. They also sell a kit that allows you to quickly lift and hang the deck in a raised loading position without messing with the height adjustment pins. Thanks for watching.

    So you're telling me that a brand new model of stand on zero turn that costs 7 grand uses deck adjustment pins instead of a lever? Seems pretty lame to me. I know the larger models have the lever but im just trying to understand why they chose to remove that feature on the 32"

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  5 лет назад

      Apparently the Staris is based on two different frame sizes. The 3 small ones then the 3 large ones. They chose to make the 3 small ones e-series to keep the price point down. They designed the Staris to be little to no maintenance. So they invested in a lot of innovative things like the stainless steel bent tubing for hydro lines that you don’t see on any other stand on. Unfortunately that means something had to get cut out to keep it in the same price range and they chose the height adjustment. It’s funny because all the comments I see across RUclips and Instagram are either it’s too expensive for a 32 or I would pay more if they included the height adjustment lever. 😂

    think they coulda sprung for an FX kawi instead of the FS.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 лет назад +2

      Yes that would be nice, but I think the smaller E-Series models are really trying to stay budget friendly for people. The three smaller E-series models have a few features omitted from them that the larger S-Series models have to keep the cost for the end user down.

    I’m disappointed in a few things on the new Exmark Staris.. I may be picky but I thought the new model would be revolutionary.. 1. Deck height adjustment needs updating.. I will no longer buy a mower where I have to bend over and lift the heavy deck. 2. Exhaust emitting direction is basically pointed right in the operators face. 3. Choke/throttle is on left- I’m right handed as are the majority of humans so I don’t think this makes much sense.

    that is a royal pain in the ass to be pulling four pins every time you want to raise a deck up and down especially down here in South Florida

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  5 лет назад

      I agree it’s not winning any points on convenience in that area. With that being said it is like the turf tracer I use already and I just usually keep it at the same height for every lawn, unless it’s like a tall grass first cut for example. Thanks for watching.

    Deck adjustment pins hell no that is a good advantage of the grandstand all you have to do is push a button , pull a lever pull out a cotter pin and adjust the pin then put the cotter pin in the lower the deck then cut. That system is on all standers except this one nope this is not worth it

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 лет назад

      This is the E-series. The larger S-series models have the lever height adjustment. I will admit the lever is easier and more convenient to adjust. But I also am in the Pacific North West, where it rains most of the year, which means the ground is always soft and machine weight is the biggest concern. So this 4 pin system uses a lot less parts saving on weight. I’m also use to this system as my current turf tracer uses it as well as my previous Walker brand mower. So I guess it depends on what types of lawns your mowing. Ultimately as with any product, time will tell and the market will decide if it’s a good system. Thanks for watching.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 лет назад +1

      I know. It looks much smaller compared to the 36” grandstand beside it. I think it would be perfect for the smaller sized properties I service. The 36” grandstand looks so big and heavy compared to this. Thanks for watching. 👍

  • @CraigsCuts
    @CraigsCuts 6 лет назад +2

    Wait...you have to manually move 4 pins to adjust the height of the deck? No thanks 😂😂😂 looks nice aesthetically speaking though

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 лет назад +1

      I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and watching the video. The height adjustment doesn’t bother me, but I guess I’m used to that system of height adjustment. Both my current exmark turf tracer and my previous Walker MT23GHS both used the 4 pins to adjust the height.

    Why do these reviews always go over everything but price? Dealer incentives, etc?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  6 лет назад +2

      Because pricing and dealer incentives change over time and change geographically. The basic information about the mower stays the same making the video relevant even in the future. For example on exmarks website when I made this video it said $7999 now this mower is listed at $6999. So if I included the pricing when I made the video it would already be out of date and incorrect. Thanks for watching.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  3 года назад

      I’ll agree it’s definitely not as convenient but it’s also no different than adjusting the wheels on a 21” mower and is the same system that comes on many walk behind mowers and Walker brand mowers. Plus for some it’s not an issue. I know for me I mow all my client properties at the same height. So I only change the height seasonally and have all my mowers including my 21, 30, 32, and 36 all set to the same height during the cutting season. Thanks for watching.

    Might as well paint that thing pink because it looks like a womens mower. Staris sucks!! Literally any other stander will suit you better...

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  5 лет назад

      Well considering a woman’s natural pain tolerance for things like child birth. I’d say most women are tougher then men. So it fits because the this Staris is literally built like a tank in terms of the thickness of steel used, and other things like the stainless steel hard hydraulic lines vs hoses. Oh yeah, and it’s fast, and leaves a fantastic cut that I always get compliments on. So I’m good with using it. Thanks for watching.
