Phantom is a case of a ride being modified after it was initially made, and it improved the ride. It makes me wonder why more parks don’t do it with old steel coasters.
Well one of the reasons I heard it got remade is that the inversions were simply disproportionate to it's hyper coaster speed causing so much heading banging. It was already a fundamentally unique coaster with the terrain but the inversions were a reality check as to why you essentially can't do it all at once haha. The only thing any coaster could take from phantom is it's restraints.
You must have never been to an amusement park before. People have been doing it since roller coasters were invented. It provides a more out of control feeling than holding on for dear life.
@@arleenmorlino4019 and nobody fell out. Heck, nobody has died on a ride at Kennywood since the 60s. One less person in line for us to wait for, thanks. Keep watching the over exaggerating “Top 10 Ride Accidents” videos that give everyone the irrational fear of coasters. It’s one thing to be afraid of the heights and forces, thinking they’re dangerous is completely irrational. You don’t think these things get inspected on a daily basis or designed by qualified engineers? Unless you’re in a developing nation, that will almost always be the case. Not every coaster ride is like Final Destination 3.

The best thing about these videos? It’s when you sometimes feel those drops.
This is in our home park we literally live down the street. This is still in my top 3 coasters of all time!!! And incredibly smooth for its age. IYKYK

Solid coaster. It never gets old and is fun to ride with the family during our annual trips to Kennywood.
the people in front of you changing their minds about wanting their hands up 😭😭😭
At least it still has that classic arrow lift sound
I’m going to Kennywood next week and I’m gonna ride this for the first time I’m so scared😭
Was it fun? :)
That cool I not scared of it at all I just like a hand to by to hold that all
It looks like the rider in front of you hurt her head/neck
It’s amazing that you aren’t scared of going in big roller coasters 🎢
Huh?
Looks like it's a pretty rough ride. 😜
This was built as Steel Phantom in 1991 (by ARROW, so yeah). It got modded in 2001 as Phantom's Revenge
This Is The Smoothest Coaster I've Ever Ridden Out Of 786 Credits No Where Near Rough
This is actually known for being really smooth.
Chicken tenders.
Don’t ask any questions btw
Why do they put their arms up….it looks so stupid..
Agreed.
Ikr? It doesn't give you more air time or anything so I don't get it.

@@Stagnant_Gravy oh you’ll definitely have that out of control feeling when you go flying out of the car…🙄🙄🙄
