Just brought myself a 2013 958 Porsche Cayenne 3.0 V6 diesel and have to say it has been a dream to drive and even without the air suspension the ride is great. Thanks for showing us your car and i will consider having the apple play retro fitted. The luxury side is amazing little things like the two sun visors when you pull the main one to shield you from the sun coming in the side window it has another that you can pull down into the normal position 😄

Sure thing! It is an ISUDAR modem board. You have to remove your head unit and install, but there are no external modules needed and no splicing of wires. You can find it on Amazon.
I bought one with 160000 km (Italy) for 26 thousand euros, The conditions are perfect, the only gem is the kilometres but in 2 years it has never given me problems, just a lot of money between taxes, insurance and tire train, but it's worth it for the use I make of it, and having my dreamt car.

Wouldn't a station wagon be more fun to drive? Would get considerably better gas milage as well. Both the Merc E-Class and the BMW 3-series were sold as wagons in the US in 2014.
Nice car. I am not into SUV's yet and specially not a SUV from a sportscar manufacturer but I will admit, it all looks nice and I bet it drives even better and are already planning ahead to looking to purchase an SUV after the current car. I just have to mentally prepare myself for such a move;) I am getting older however (52 now) and not so long ago traded my perfect Volvo S60 2.5T petrol for an even better S80 2.0d. The main reasons were the height of the car, where it is much more easy to enter and leave the vehicle and some more additional options which the S60 never came with where the cooled/ventilated seats were the main difference since summers (when they finally get here) are getting more and more warm and the S60 never had that option. The car sits roughly 4 inch higher (10cm) and the doors open wider. The car is only 4 years younger than my previous car but it is a newer generation model so comes with lots of (standard or optional) equipment. To me it means a very luxurious drive for a very friendly price:) I do not own a business nor do I use a lease car so I have to watch my money. I also purchased another car for my wife. I actually bought hers first before purchasing mine. It is of course a Volvo, the V40. They look great on the drive together:) We do like Porsches but the insureance and other financial aspects make it not a car for everyone. Road tax is done by the weight of the car (in the case of the 4.8s cayenne 135 USD per month) and petrol here costs 2.40 euro per liter so translated into US gallons would be 9 dollars and 25 cent for 1 gallon. Maybe my next car will be an XC60 or maybe the lower V90CC.
I totally hear you, especially with gas prices per liter. Maybe a hybrid Cayenne would work? I’ve considered it, but will keep my 2014 for now. But, you can’t go wrong with Volvo and I find them to be nice looking cars too. I appreciate your watching and commenting!

I have some drive trains in my mind that I will keep an eye on as for endurance and reliability. A hybrid will only be an option if I do need to use it in places where ICE is no longer accepted. For now that is not yet an issue. Iam thinking maybe T5 or T6 within the Volvo range so always a 2 liter 4-pot with 250 or 320 hp no matter the model or version. I will stay clear of the T8 version since that has to many issues since it comes with an engine, a hybrid additive and a turbo and a supercharger. Too many things that can go wrong. I like power but also would like to just go to the dealers once a year for maintenance, not every month. Most Porsches here are hybrid; the Cayenne, macan and the sports tourers.

Nothing wrong with the V6 but in my opinion it’s too underpowered for a vehicle of that size and weight. I don’t care about resale value. On that subject, here in Australia the V8’s hold their value way better than the V6’s.
@@LionelDockery How so? The 2014 GTS (if we comparing like for like) is a 4.8L V8 with 309kW, 515Nm compared to a 2015 which has a 3.6L V6 with 324kW & 600Nm. It's literally a better performing car in every respect; More power, more torque, a faster 0-60 and CONSIDERABLY better fuel economy. Where is the 'under powered' part?
