- Turn on the Food Network, and you’ll be sure to catch Sunny Anderson cooking up a storm in “The Kitchen”. The ensemble cooking show always has a fun vibe, and none of that has changed since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
One thing that has changed due to the pandemic, however, is the location of the shoot. All the co-hosts of “The Kitchen” have taken to recording themselves cooking in their own kitchens, except for Sunny Anderson.
Many viewers have realized that Sunny Anderson hasn’t shown her kitchen even once on the show. Take a look at the real reason you never see Sunny Anderson’s real kitchen.

What do you think about Sunny Anderson?
I want to turn the channel or fast forward through her segments. I find her to be too loud and have an in your face attitude. I would not miss her if she was not on the show.

of six nasty men during this pandemic, who thought they would have the run of her Home with mask as an optional choice and of course she made enough food to feed them all doing the Show .But where is the clean up crew ? They only pack their camera equipment. Is she even reimbursed for wear and tear of her lovely outdoors Kitchen... like the other T.V. network cooks are bragging about as they talk about all those Promotional Perks they're getting for doing their cook shows for the Same network? ? ?

I don't have any issues with Sunny cooking outside or not showing her kitchen. I used to love her but lately she is getting to be a bit annoying with the "You know what I'm saying?" every few sentences and yelling at the camera or talking with her mouth full. I know the other hosts do it too, but at least they try to put a hand up or take smaller bites. She once said that she has never learned to take small bites but she needs to learn how to do it or try to put her hand up a bit.

I Love sunny I like some of her takes on recipe, being an army brat let her try authentic versions of some different foods early on that I believe gave her a good understanding of flavor profiles on a budget not everyone has deep pockets to shell out for high end ingredients all the time, Her Hacks ,tips and willingness to learn from other chefs right along with the audience makes her feel more approachable .
I don't care. I enjoy her and would love to share some of the recipes with her outdoors. A lot of people turned their outdoor space into living spaces during the pandemic. Even in the winter months there was a need and want to get outside.

None of our business. I like privacy and I don't even have people over to my home, outside of a handful of people which is no more than 3 people and not often. It's not that deep she's still cooking and I'm impressed. People have nerve and major audacity during these strange times.

Ok, as a medical professional if you have an atake utoimmune disease and get COVID, it could be a death sentence for you. As far as showing your house, (kitchen) there is nothing in her contract I bet that says she has to have millions of people looking inside her house. It is more safe for her to stay outside instead of inside. Everyone take a chill pill and love Sunny for who she is!!!!

I use my outdoor grill year round (northern Illinois) except when it's absolutely buried, and I mean buried, in snow.

I do miss the interaction between Sunny and the others in the kitchen. I also respect Sunny's decision to do her segments the way she chooses. Damn people respect!
I honestly thought from the beginning, that she must have some underlying health condition in which she feels safer not allowing multiple people in her home that she has no idea what they do before or after her show is filmed.
And these would be the same people that she would be allowing in her personal space.
Exactly! And with shooting her segment, there would be a need for those in the production crew to be able to go in & out of her home. And because of the pandemic, that would mean having to constantly clean and disinfectant everything in her kitchen and personal space. It’s her choice and her’s to make, so I respect that.
