    I would be well happy for that for 400 quid. 👍👍

    excellent workmanship i'd say the customer got far more than £400 worth of work in that repair. 👍 with wax treatment the car should survive for many years.

    Good episode! Very interesting to see you go through the whole process in almost "Real Time". English Wheels, Brakes and Bead Rollers can perform wonders, but it takes good planning, practice and patience. Just a note to novices, get yourself a good quality pair of Kevlar gloves (the type UK Firefighters use) when working with sheet metal, because the cut edges are very hazardous.

    Nice touch with the stone chip primer too. A lot of bodyshops forget this type of detail.

    Absolute bargain . Takes me back to the eighties when I used to do lots of welding on MOT failures for a local l garage.
    They reckon I had kept half the cars in north London saved from the scrap yard.
    The only thing I would of done differently is spot welded the lower seam, so much quicker, neater and saves grinding down all those plug welds.
    Excellent video and wonderful skills. Keep up the good work.

    Great job. They were quite complex sills on the coupe. Originally there was another fold in those sills, they kind of stepped down.
    Will look great finished.
    Nightfire red.

    Great video 👍 Nice to see someone using Zintec and
    16g is 1.6mm? As others have said a very reasonable price for custom pieces 😊

    Nice, If I had my time again I would have a scissor lift and not work on my knees and a bit of foam. I have a 110 nibbler good for 1.6mm. The sheer and folder make a neat job

      Totally agree. We have two scissor lifts here -= and do as much as we can on them. This job grew - and the ramps were occupied :(

      We think so!
      This is the metal work repair only - but value for sure.

    Wow great job,wonder how much filler is in the rest of the car

  • @rappers5719
    @rappers5719 27 дней назад +2

    Christ! You must have halved it's weight. More acceleration, more speed and more fuel consumption. A bit tongue in cheek.

  • @woodaxed
    @woodaxed 27 дней назад +2

    the car must have weighed a ton with all that filler

      Found out the reason why it was only doing 15mpg

      Joking aside, that must of took some skill to do that filler work

  • @jimmypratt6450

    Too cheap !!! that price obviously doesn't include bodywork and paint ?

    • @paintingclassiccars
      @paintingclassiccars  27 дней назад +2

      It’s 5 hrs work at £65ph plus materials.
      Does not include bodywork and paint. This was purely for metalwork repair.
