Zack when he joined soldier he was so desperate to join soldier that he put into surgery and infused with Mako Energy. After the Niblehim incident Zack's physical abilities has been increased by nearly 200% when he and Cloud were out into the Mako containers for 4 years. Zack absorbed the Jenova cells and his abilities were increased while Cloud who was only exposed to a little amount and trained enough to use sword and using healing magic and element magic, Cloud absorbed a massive amount of Mako that he was put into a coma for nearly a year and Zack had to carry him around. Since Zack was already exposed to Mako Energy it has no effect on him besides absorbing the Jenova cells that increased his abilities. According to the lore I believe, Zack defeated the Materia Goddess who was stronger than Sephiroth, and I believe this was after Zack absorbed the Jenova cell. In the Anime Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core where they showed Zack carrying Cloud mad they were ambushed in a yard, Zack went hand to hand combat and dodge every single bullet that was shot towards him and smacked a Shinra trooper and send the trooper's helmet flying I believe and broke some of his tooth. The Shinra Army knows how strong Zack is so as Zack and Cloud made their way to Midgar, Shinra sent a massive army of army to liberate Zack. In real time Zack fought from morning to nightfall or to midnight. In this "REAL TIME" battle Zack used no materia.and no summoning materia, just his strength and buster sword, but Zack would get weaker and weaker as his memories fades away. Zack would end up losing to the last 3 Shinra troops and shot left to die.

Something to add, I don’t think Nero is the main Antagonist. Rosso gets way more screen time in terms of Deepground characters. However, Hojo is the main villain of Dirge. The story is the end of his arch as the mastermind behind most of the FF7 conflict. They for some reason hide his face til the end which is the worst reveal in video game history cuz not one soul would’ve been fooled lol. Great video! Just wanted to throw in my two cents. I just marathoned thru every FF7 game, movie, etc. Waiting on the books to arrive to read before Rebirth rn

I dont agree that Weiss is weaker than the rest. It took a powered up Vincent Valentine with the power of chaos to defeat him. Weiss was shown to be more powerful than enemies in the past, including Sephiroth. First of all, do you even know what chaos is? Chaos is a godlike being in the world of final fantasy with power. He is the God of discord, and Vincent is not just using his power. Vincent is chaos, meaning he is a God, and he fought Weiss. And theres noway you put Nero over his brother Weiss when it's literally stated that Weiss is stronger than him. I just had to debunk this. You clearly didn’t do any research before making this video
It's important to note that the reason hojo took over Weiss's body is because he has the same potential as sephiroth. Why do you think Hojo was constantly examing sephiroth. He knew about first-class soldiers' degradation and who was worth taking over. So he chose Weiss for those reasons
but how can cloud be that powerful if he didnt go thru the mako "surgery" that soldiers go thru?. ive only recently got back into ff7 and its universe since playing it back in the late 90's so im not fully versed on everything.
@daniel campbell arguably the same. It's shown in-game that he has the same Soldier eyes, which is how he was able to convince everyone that he was in Soldier. It's arguable that it's the exact same, but it's never outright stated. Nonetheless, he did get infused with Mako, and a shitload of it. It's actually part of what shattered his mind prior to Zack's death. Cloud also has Jenova cells inside him making him that much stronger.

Seeing how Weiss fight in battle, I still think that he's one of the strongest 1st class Soldier, even in par with Sephiroth in his sword skills.
Nah devs confirmed Sephiroth is the best at everything and no one is at his level. Even in swordfighting he'd destroy Weiss.

He was experimented on by Hojo for 5 years after the Nibelheim incident. He did, in fact, get Mako treatment.
