Javier had to be loyal to Dutch, because he owes Dutch too much. Arthur comes at a close second. I'm glad the VA and mocap for Javier fought tooth-and-nail with the devs to make sure he doesn't point his gun at Arthur and John- two people who'd happily die for him in a pinch.
Javier was one of the most caring and compassionate for his fellow gang members When Lenny dies, Arthur sits by his corpse, Charles does the same for a brief second, Micah, Dutch, and Bill don't look back, but Javier does, which also reflects the moment the gang disbanded. Bill, Micah, and Dutch all pointed their guns at Arthur and John, but Javier couldn't bring himself to do the same, seeing Arthur as a brother, even when feeling betrayed. Javier was easily one of my favourite characters, and boy can he sing at a high note. The fact that I can barely understand what he's saying when he sings makes it even more beautiful to me.

Javier is my no. 1 comfort character, I go “running” (speed walking) whenever I see him. I always Antagonize Micah, always Greet Javier. Just how it goes.
I remember on my second playthrough, right before I activated the second to last mission, I noticed Javier was singing for the first time in Chapter 6. I was confused because he was kinda mean the whole chapter, but I sat down and listened to him play the whole song along with what was left of the gang. “Our Best Selves” and “Red Dead Redemption” we’re 200x more emotional for me that time.
I miss the days when the gang hadnt split apart I love when everyone's is all together listening to Javiers music at the campfire we all can say we love the campfire it's our favorite spot in the game especially when Javier brings his guitar you know he's gonna have an amazing song to sing love him lots but I hate that he stayed with dutch my faves in order are Arthur, John, Sean, Lenny, bill and Hosea ditch Micah and the rest don't do anything for me
I feel like Javier should've been a musician like in the Saint Denis theater he probably could play out for the whole audience to get more money for Dutch😄
In my opinion he didn’t know what he was doing, when everyone is pointing guns at each other, Javier is the only one on Dutch’s side that isn’t pointing his gun at Arthur. I think he panicked and only knew he had to stay loyal. It’s such an interesting game with interesting characters ❤️
Some of the best moments are defined by Javier and his guitar by the campfire... I often stop whatever the fuck i'm doing, cut people off and stop talking, just to sit by the fire and enjoy. Fuck, best game design's choice... no doubt CORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZONEEEEEEEEEEEES ayyyyyy

All these years later, I came back to visit Mexico where my father made a house. Throughout all my nights here visiting and seeing so many artists. This music came to mind. Truly unforgettable.
