    I've been trying to recover from burnout for the last six months. Motivation disappears when you have nothing left to give. Burnout destroyed my concentration, my memory, my energy, my endurance and much more. I'm just now getting those physical attributes back. As a colleague said once, you have to continuously fill your tank with the things you love or you'll run out of fuel while serving others. I had no fuel...and I was confused as to why I had no fuel. It can physically hurt when you're in burnout. I hope, now that I'm recovering, that motivation will come back. I'm seeing signs of it. I think I might be a combo of the Creation and the Performance motivators.

    *YOU HAVE TO PURPOSEFULLY TAKE ARE OF YOURSELF* ..Not to the detriment of others or your life. but what it means is filling your tank with things you love and fun (as mentioned in BLueEyes1365's comment), taking time to re-energize, recuperate, to experience laughter, . JOY, FUN, EXCITEMENT. there must be balance. Take care of yourself or else there wont be a self to take of. Resolve issues otherwise you will be a rollercoaster.

    Burn out does not mean your giving up or not motivated. I’m motivated ever day but I’m getting burned out working 2 jobs; pushing 16 hours in a 10-11 hour day because the Government does bother to hire behind my staff accountant that’s been gone since June🥹
