I do all the good things like working out, cold shower, yoga, meditation and so on many of the things I have done for many years. It is complex.

I believe that the blood flow they give, can make it faster to overcome PIED. I'm not currently taking cold showers due to epilepsy, since the shock is big when you start. But I used to take them, and I know they have huge benefits.
I'm not sure it would work for you given your condition, but this is what helped me. I used to hate cold showers, but I decided to wait for the water to warm up and then get it while the water is warm. As my body adjusted to the temperature, I would turn the temp down slowly until I got used to the cold water and then stick with it cold.
Funny enough, @6:38 starts the exact explanation how did I relapsed around day 120 😁 stupid autopilot and sensitized pathways. Sh1t, I was not tormenting myself, as I used to, yet another fail, I didnt experience usual relapse symptoms ever since. But I dont feel like I am back to 0, even though I count from 0 again, cause I want to be fair with me and do it the proper way. I feel like I have healed enough, and ever since relapse, I feel very little, random, very short bursts of weak urges. For some people they can still be bothersome in the second month and even a bit longer. Hang in there, most find that the go away in either the first or second month so good chance you're going to get rid of them soon.
You can turn it around, brother. You've done it in the past, which means you can do it again. Start with smaller goals. No matter in how bad of a situation, everyone can improve if they start with small enough goals. E.g. like first a goal of reaching just one week clean, or even just 5 days. Then, if not reaching that goal, analyzing what went wrong, adjust a bit, until finally reaching it. And THEN keep improving from there. You need a system you follow where you plan in advance. And then also practice your system, IN ADVANCE for what to do when the urges come (like a fire-drill). Prepare and practice. I found nothing of value. nothing triggered me. i don t understand how i was so hooked before, but now i just entered them from pure curiosity and felt entirely uninterested in what it is there. It happens. So, even thought it's hard, try not to beat yourself up about it. I know, easier said than done, but I still have to say it :) How about you try to just make a promise to yourself to make the next streak even better, in terms of healthy lifestyle, and then you try to beat that 40 day number. Relapses happen to at least 95% of guys out there, so you have to remember that, for most, it's part of the process. Also, see what you can learn from this last relapse, and take that knowledge with you to the next streak. You know, if we do that for long enough, and actually learn things from our slips, it is actually possible to fail our way to success :) Now, rise again and keep on going, brother!
I think the first step you should take is, Don't focus on days it's useless and it will make you overwhelmed, and if you pass day 7 you feel somehow proud and decide to relapse because you made it to 7 days or 14 days or... forgot about counting. - Don't count days, but deicide to quit it for good and that's it, you will never do it again as it hurts your brain so bad. - You're not the person who tries to quit porn and fap... you're a person who doesn't do it. this is called a change of identity, if you identify yourself as someone who does it and try to quit, then you will always be that person and it will be hard to quit because you can change your actions for a while and then change the habit for a while but then you will end up hitting that WALL of identity (you're someone who fap and watch porn etc...) so start by doing that shift become the person you want to become (Your future self) and your actions and habits will automatically follow. (of course you will still need to push because your old self will fight to stay since that's the most familiar character "the urges and the feelings to do it again is your old self fighting to stay" know that it's normal, you have to be the new self "the person who doesn't fap or watch porn" for a certaind days weeks... so it can become familiar and your brain accept it) the hardest part is the beginning, once your brain gets familiar with the person who doesn't do it, then it becomes easy, so push until it gets familiar, it won't stay hard forever. - Once you go beyond 7-10 days it becomes easier... if you feel the urge, just let it go those are feelings don't identify yourself with every thought and feeeling you feel, you're not the feeling not the thought so you can chose or pick another thought. Change the action of getting the dopamine from porn or fapping to 50 push ups or anything that will make you tired and produce dopamine... Briefly: 2 Major ideas will make you stop if you can remember it. 1- You're not the person who fap or watch porn and trying to stop! You are the person who doesn't do it so don't think about it don't think that you're quitting something... don't think about it because you're the person who doesn't do it. 2- How bad will you feel if you relapse again? bring that feeling just before you relapse and know that you will regret it and feel bad... How good will you feel if you didn't do it? bring that feeling and FEEEEEL IT before you do it, it will make you stop. Visualize yourself, how proud of yourself that you didn't do it. and always remember that watching porn will destroy your life and focus and concentration and energy, these things are harder that the urges... so change the easy thing which stopping the fap and porn. PS: when you feel bored and low and a bit sad or depressed, don't worry and don't fall into it and watch porn... that's just your dopamine levels going back to baseline, this is the hardest period, stay patient during it it only lasts 7-10 days, and then after a few more days to weeks you will start enjoying the little things again like reading books, walking etc... To be honest I designed it more for quitting porn. You will find helpful parts in it, but since it's geared towards quitting porn I'm not sure how well you would do with it.
Question. I got ED last couple times with a woman. Could be porn. I'm off it a month now. But I do catch myself filling that void with clicking on those videos on Facebook of non-nude women just showing off their butts in different ways. I haven't found a way to block that reels thing. Anyway, do you think it's alright to see that stuff or is that damaging, too?
If you have PIED you want to stay away from all porn substitutes as well at least until you have healed your ED, and still be very careful about it after that as well. Porn substitutes can potentially halt PIED recovery. I.e. artificial things that can sexually turn you on, whatever you deem that to be. So I would avoid what you are describing. Find a blocker for the reels. I think many browsers offer one.
@@ScandinavianBob I don't want to give up Facebook but I've found no way to block that stuff, and it seems when I hit hide Facebook just moves it to the top of the page as if I liked it. Doesn't make me want to go back to porn but it is a dopamine hit. Hey, and also see women dressed that way in public every time I leave the house. I don't stare but it does enter my field of vision. But real life stuff isn't harmful, hey?

If something pleasing crosses my field of vision, I'm okay if it's just that, and moreover I didn't choose it. Simply having desires is normal and not a problem in itself. For me I succeed or fail based on what happens after. If I continue on my way without giving additional attention, then I feel I've 'won'.
My main problems are :- 1.Whenever my uncle comes home I get triggers to watch porn in his phone cause other phones of my house have blockers and my uncle comes once in a month. 2.Whenever I have to work with my phone I get triggered and relapse to images not videos. Please help

Anything artificial that arouses you sexually can be problematic for your reboot. And, yes, Tiktok videos can be highly addictive as well, ESPECIALLY sexual provocative clips. PS: when you feel bored and low and a bit sad or depressed, don't worry and don't fall into it and watch porn... that's just your dopamine levels going back to baseline, this is the hardest period, stay patient during it it only lasts 7-10 days, and then after a few more days to weeks you will start enjoying the little things again like reading books, walking etc...

To be honest I designed it more for quitting porn. You will find helpful parts in it, but since it's geared towards quitting porn I'm not sure how well you would do with it.
Question. I got ED last couple times with a woman. Could be porn. I'm off it a month now. But I do catch myself filling that void with clicking on those videos on Facebook of non-nude women just showing off their butts in different ways. I haven't found a way to block that reels thing. If you have PIED you want to stay away from all porn substitutes as well at least until you have healed your ED, and still be very careful about it after that as well. Porn substitutes can potentially halt PIED recovery. I.e. artificial things that can sexually turn you on, whatever you deem that to be. So I would avoid what you are describing. Find a blocker for the reels. I think many browsers offer one.
@@ScandinavianBob I don't want to give up Facebook but I've found no way to block that stuff, and it seems when I hit hide Facebook just moves it to the top of the page as if I liked it. Doesn't make me want to go back to porn but it is a dopamine hit. Hey, and also see women dressed that way in public every time I leave the house. I don't stare but it does enter my field of vision. But real life stuff isn't harmful, hey?
@@tommyhatcher3399 I hope not! I've wondered this too and though porn is worse, to me it's about the level of attention I give. If something pleasing crosses my field of vision, I'm okay if it's just that, and moreover I didn't choose it. Simply having desires is normal and not a problem in itself. For me I succeed or fail based on what happens after. If I continue on my way without giving additional attention, then I feel I've 'won'.

Anything artificial that arouses you sexually can be problematic for your reboot. And, yes, Tiktok videos can be highly addictive as well, ESPECIALLY sexual provocative clips.
