I was just thinking "I don't think they got a search warrant to enter their premises without them there" haha
I wondered the same thing!
@@catharineorellana3522 well this is stabler were talking about he doesn't need a warrant sometimes he just does it and benson just goes along with it that's why they always get in trouble with each other

Years ago, my late mother received a bill, on a large well known Department store, for a credit card she hadn't used in years, and no longer possessed, this store was located in the Mall Of The Americas in Minneapolis, while the home store ( where I happened at the time to work in loss prevention) was in Chicago. Knowing that mom had never set foot in Minnesota, much less in that mall, I took the bill to my boss, ( the head of loss prevention) and explained that something was amiss. My boss called mom, and verified that, she hadn't used her charge plate in years, so together we decided, that an investigation was called for, the investigation showed that the files on inactive accounts were kept in a storage area, that only a handful of employees, knew about, or had access to, so a pinhole camera was placed in the ceiling, directly over the filing cabinets involved, and hooked to a recorder, it didn't take long before an employee was seen entering the files, copying some of the account numbers on a piece of paper that she, concealed in her clothing, ( female employee's of this store were issued a clear plastic purse on hire that was the only bag, that they were permitted to carry their belongings in while on company property, a practice meant to eliminate employee theft) said employee, was then interviewed and searched, with a female police officer present, and it was found that she had a long criminal history, a little pressure was applied by police, and it was determined that she was passing the pilfered account numbers to her gang member boyfriend, who then was sending them to gang affiliates, all over the country. The scheme was broken up, and several major arrests were made. I received a company award and a fat bonus!
Nice!
and everyone clapped 😆

It’s so crazy that so many of us were young around 8 and loved this show. I still to this day love this show
Me too
I'm sorry- who lets their 8 year old watch SVU? I'm concerned that your comment implies this was common.
@@blueturtle3623 um… you may be concerned but no one I’m my family cared enough about what we watched like it really depended on the explicit content I guess. Honestly although this wasn’t recommended to watch at a young age I didn’t remember everything that happened but loved when they bussed a guy or girl and yea I could have been disturbed for a second or so but I feel like watching it made me more aware. So I’m happy I watched this early on and learned how insane and terrible this world can be and how it can also be great. It may have involved me growing up faster than others and having a different mindset but can’t take it back now.
@@blueturtle3623 yea it’s pretty common for back in the day 8 year olds watching this, most of us use to be around mostly adults and teens rather than kids so also I don’t remember if it came on after a certain show we were more accustomed to watch lol

Miss all the realism. The acting while eating. Alllll those nameless background cops pretending to be apart of the investigation. It’s the nuances that makes this show. It’s still good but could be better if they brought it back.
I assume the type of showrunner, directors, and writing team, is much much too different now compared to back then during this episode's time for that to ever be expected again.
realism?
I stopped watching when Stabler left. Those were the best days anyway
I also miss when the writers would not have Cragen who was captain pretend to be a detective or sergeant conducting interviews the way they make Benson as if she's still a detective or sergeant.
Either the writers have Benson be like Cragen and delegate from her desk and have only the detectives and sergeants give the interviews and find clues for the investigation or have Benson be demoted to sergeant and be able to conduct interviews and find clues for investigation because captains don't go out into the field and start conducting interviews for each investigation or search for clues either.
@@lieselotmauroo9808 they have a new show that is main character is Stabler! Its called Law and Order: Organized Crimes! Its so so sooo good
Just heard about Richard Belzer’s death. Rest in peace detective munch we will all miss you!
He was favorite, the best were the few times he and Lennie worked together
God rest his soul. 😞
Can we just say how perfect their meal time scene is? They have food in their mouth it's so believable you'd think they've been at it for longer. Unlike The big bang theory(one of my fave shows) when the gang orders enormous food and just sits there while they poke at it with their folks and take tiny baby bites once while they only drink their water.
That's because usually the food in actuality for the PAs to be eaten after the shoot.
I love this show but I HATE when people talk with their mouth full. It’s so low brow & gross. If that’s great acting I shake my head at my SAG card.
@@jbilotta So what constitutes "great acting" is when the actors don't gross you out? Because... real people never talk with their mouth full? I don't get your logic.
@@jbilotta They're supposed to be cops and they have to multitask. It's not the acting, it's the writing. How realistic would it have been if they had all the time in the world to just focus on eating when they have cases to close?
@@luzmaya7787 usually a lot of times people do talk when they eat. such as when to get attention from a waiter at the table before they leave
Scenes like this where they discuss cases with the psychologists are what made me get interested in psychology and pursue the field of study myself . The psyche/soul of others is always so interesting.
@Mi-Ae Hwang Yes :)
I feel you.
It's almost the same for me, but instead what got me hooked was the behavioral analysis and exchanges between the agents themselves and the victims/suspects and how the "soul" shows itself through those.
Now a psychologist, I regard what I do as an "investigation of the mind" thanks to SVU
this show got me interested in becoming a pervert
George's character made me interested in forensic psychology. I'm applying for graduate school this fall to be a child psychologist😅 and Spencer Reid ofcourse
I think it's partially innate. As a child I read adult psychological case studies, and loved thrillers especially. It makes you interested in WHY we do the things we do, not just abnormal psych but all of us. The WHY of it all, it's the interesting part of everyone.
"That’s impossible" wow, I cried. The most believable line in the whole entire history of the show, delivered with such conviction

OZ provided Law & Order a lineup of iconic actors and actresses
For as long as Oz was on the air, it went both ways.
I loved OZ. 👍👍👍
At the end when she was being integrated by Det Stabler she became concerned what the guards and inmates would do to her in jail and came on to him asking if he would protect her.
I love these clips! I met one of my favorite characters (the Columbian drug lord that chased Stephanie March around the table) at a Friendsgiving event two years in a row. He was honored that I recognized him and his role. Love SVU!
J.K. Simmons looking like Omni-Man before the franchise started.
lmao yall got this recommended too?
All I hear J Jonas Jameson.

Always fun to watch him in a scene like this and then switch to a video of him playing Vern Shillinger in 'Oz.'
lmao
Honestly, these food scenes are so believable .. never once did I felt they are faked .. they even had bites in their mouth ..
I don't think we see believable food scenes anymore .. it is always faked and disappointing .. why? because this makes it feel homey and also adds to the way we feel about the characters
bet there was bucket to spit in after each take under somewhere.
I had NO idea other people also watched this with their parents and families when they were like 6-10 years old LOLOLOLLLL
I was 18 when I started watching Law and Order. You heard of viewers discretion advised

It's a good show to watch
I used to watch Dexter when lying in bed to fall asleep back when my kid was about 3 years old, had to stop because one day he took his saw from his toy tool set and pretended to cut his dads leg off, then brought it to me to “wash it” afterwards 🤭😂 oops
I watched it by myself 😂
The thumbnail got me. I thought the blonde girl had a thing for Benson...
That's what I was thinking. "Whoah, I don't remember that happening in this episode... oh, right, that shot..."

Any of the SVU and CI(Criminal Intent) episodes should be watched while not high. Regular Law and Order, definitely. :)

In the words of Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons, "This by far is the most shameful episode of Law & Order SVU ever."
Nice to see Shillinger and Keller getting along well again
Well, eventually Vern had to leave but Father Mukada replaced him. Earlier we had Ryan around as well.
